Chapter 72. Reject the Cunning Bird
The scale tipped arrow pierced clean through the wing of a large grey hawk.
I recognized that specific plumage instantly...it was one of the exact bird beastmen who had been aggressively diving and guiding the catastrophic dinosaur herd toward our valley back on the mountain.
Shocked and completely incapacitated, the massive bird tumbled violently out of the tree, crashing heavily into the deep snow drifts below.
A dead silence fell over the camp before a massive explosion of noise erupted.
Dozens of land beastmen rushed out of their tents, their faces filled with absolute shock. Within seconds, they started clapping and cheering aggressively.
"What is this?! What is this thing?!" a wolf warrior yelled in pure excitement.
"Another strange, miraculous item from Lily! You hit that annoying bird right out of the sky from the ground!"
