The fire in the fireplace crackled softly, but the warmth did nothing to ease the tension emitting from the two men who sat facing each other.
"Nothing yet", Isaiah said as he smoked his cigarette, "I am not sure the so called destroyer will come to this world yet".
The man who sat across him remained silent, his index finger tapping on the arm chair, his mind somewhere else.
Isaiah who notices this raise his eyebrow in confusion, his grey eyes narrowed in suspension, "Xavier?", He called, "Is there something I should know?".
Xavier eyes locked with Isaiah's, "No", He simply replied, "Since there is no word about the destroyer, I don't think there is no need to worry".
Isaiah press his lips to a thin line, "The prophetess said the destroyer is coming but we don't know if it is a girl or a boy", he crossed his legs, "And I don't like it".
Silence settled between them.
"Everybody is waiting for the worst. But nobody know when it is coming", Isaiah chuckled like it didn't matter to him.
Xavier sighed as he stood up and walked to the window watching the sky turn grey and thunder roll in the sky.
"Even Heaven is waiting for the worst", He stated.
"I'm sure Michael is waiting too", Isaiah joked dropping the cigarette on the ash tray as he stood, "Every breath we take is being calculated, Xavier. We have to be careful. If the destroyer really comes and falls to the wrong hands. Heaven and Hell will be at war, we have to find the destroyer first, before Michael and his angels and the Devil and his demons", with that he left the room.
Xavier sighed and close his eyes, it sounded easy but he of all people knows it's the most hardest thing to do now.
"Diana", He echoed, like the sky heard him it roared.
