Eilownia furrowed her eyebrows. Her head swam as a sharp tone rang in her ears. She rolled onto her back and groaned, her body aching with every movement.
Slowly, the sound of Relia's cries began to filter into her ears. They sounded distant, almost like they were underwater.
'Relia.....I have to get up...come on body....get up...'
She slowly rolled back onto her side, letting out another pained groan as she propped herself up on her elbow. She shook her head as a deep pounding sensation set in.
It was as she tried to force her sensations to come together that she realized she was laying on something hard and rough rather than the luxurious bed she had gone to sleep on.
'Did I fall out of bed? Ah…..that's probably why I hurt so much.'
She opened her eyes to darkness as she slowly stood up. Relia's cries pierced through the fog and ringing in her ears, much clearer now than it had been before.
