Conrad did not spent all of his day to create the ability.
Now that he already had some conditions and limitations.
He believed it would be best if he were to rest and come back to it again to add on more conditions and think of ways that he can improve the cane.
He left his room and left the Heavens Arena and went to a restaurant to eat some good food and drink some good liquor.
He believed that everything is not just about fighting and improving his capabilities.
If he comes to this world and has means, he should give himself time and means to enjoy it to some degree.
As he ate and drank, he felt great and satisfied.
After his food and his drinks were finished. He ordered a black coffee, changed his seat to a window seat, and looked around.
"It is not the best idea to sit in a window seat, as it is easier to get targeted."
"But I am not going to live my life in fear of enemies."
"If they come, they should put their lives on it."
"If they are ready to take a life, then they should be ready to give one."
Conrad thought and drank his coffee.
After spending several hours in the restaurant, he went back to his room and continued to study.

"A cane and a blade are two separate things."
"The use of Blade is connected to the 'marking' of the target, which is 'marked for death'.
"The blade cannot be used on the people that are not targeted, and using it would effectively stop 'Blade' working for one month of time."
Conrad touched his chin and then thought more.
He then smiled, and something came to his mind.
"Cane and Blade are two separate abilities of one ability," he wrote.
"When the 'cane' is used, the intent and focus must not be on 'murdering' the target. More light attacks done with the "cane" without the intent of murder behind them, more power the "blade" part will have.
Conrad laughed out loud.
"This is great."
"It is creative and also complements each other."
Conrad then started writing the full version of the ability and got ready to create it for real.
"Cane and Blade, Mark of Death and Mercy."
"The blade can only be used to kill, and the cane can only be used to punish and damage without intent to kill."
"The use of cane against the enemy increases the power of the 'blade'; several times increases the power by 10% or more, and more uses keep on increasing the power of the blade."
"More damage done with the cane with no intent to kill; more power will be "Blade" when the enemy is marked by the target."
"The Cane will only increase the power of the blade against the same target, and 'Marked For Death' is marked for the blade."
"If the Cane is used on 'Enemy A', the 'Blade' only gets powerful on 'Enemy A', and if the Blade were to be used against 'Enemy B', the increase in power and lethality will not increase."
After everything was said and done, Conrad took the Blackhand Cane in his hand, and his specialist nen ability activated.
Ten minutes later, a thin layer of nen formed around the cane, a sixth ability, Cane and Blade – Mark Of Death and Mercy. Was fully formed.
"Now, I have a weapon that I can use to deal with low-level people without killing them and a weapon that I can use when I definetely need to kill my target."
"In the end, I can still beat people with Cane, and if I decide to kill them, I can do that with my hands without needing to use the 'Marking' ability of Blade.
"The blade also increases my duelling capability to its limits."
Conrad then sat down on his bed and felt his body and mind getting tired.
Each time he creates an ability, he spends a lot of nen in return, and thinking about an ability on its own was already a hard thing to do.
"Now, that the ability is created."
"I will take on studies of cane, stick fighting and also swordmanship classes."
"The more training I get from powerful masters, the more I will be great in terms of using the new ability with its full potential."
"After I train with a great master, I can continue to simulate them with Sleeping Beast for more training and improvement purposes."
"Everything is great..." he said, and then not much time later, he slept.

While he slept, a joker-like individual entered the Heavens Arene.
Wherever he stepped, people gave him some attention and then quickly turned to their things.
The reason for it was pretty simple.
The guy looked like nuts.
This man was none other than Hisoka.
After being disqualified in the Hunter Exam, he roamed a little bit and then came back to the Heavens Arena.
At the same time, three more people elevated to the level of two hundred; this trio were Sadaso, Gido and Riehvelt, three rookie crushers.
On the same night, they were taken back to the hospital due to limb injuries.
Someone performed the nen greeting on them, and they all paid the price for the nen they will get in the later time.
The time passed quickly, and Conrad slept until the morning time.
"It seems like I did really get tired last night," he said and took a shower and made a breakfast.
"Now, I do not need to challenge anybody for the time being. I will just focus on training of cane and blade for two months before challenging the strongest target I can find among the Floor Masters."
"I should get going," he said and then opened up his computer to search for masters that taught the arts of stick fighting, cane fighting, and more to be true, and also swordsmanship that is suited for his blade part in the cane.
