Chapter 217 - Chapter 220 Just a Beating

  Chapter 220 Just a Beating

According to his estimation, with eight hours of skill practice per day, it would take about three years to accumulate enough experience for the ninth skill draw.

Based on this standard, the experience points required for the ninth draw would be around a thousand points.

Defeating Volstagg yielded five experience points, equivalent to five days of skill practice experience, which wasn't a small amount, and Finney was quite satisfied.

Following Volstagg, Fandral and Hogan also joined the fray.

Finney, of course, accepted all challengers, happily reaping another wave of experience. He even asked the surrounding soldiers if anyone wanted to challenge him.

After gaining fame at the banquet, Finney once again acted arrogantly in the training ground.

Asgard admired those who could drink and those with great strength, and Finney happened to possess both. In no time, the name Finney Hellscythe spread throughout Asgard.

So, when Finney approached Thor that evening to discuss meeting Loki, he immediately asked, "I heard you beat them up this afternoon?"

"That was just a friendly spar!"

Finney shrugged, answering nonchalantly, "The three of them asked to fight there themselves."

Thor, clearly aware of his brother's personality, gave a helpless look and asked, "What brings you here?"

  "I want to see Loki!"

  Finney stated bluntly.

Upon hearing this, Thor's face involuntarily hardened, and he blurted out, "What do you want?"

"This is Asgard, what can I do!"

Seeing Thor's cautious demeanor, Finney rolled his eyes and replied irritably, "I just have some questions I want to ask him!"

Thor paused, seemingly agreeing, but remained vigilant, continuing, "What do you want to ask?"

"Ask him how much he knows about the person who sent him to Earth!"

Finney said, genuinely wanting to know Thanos's current situation.

Thor paused slightly, then replied, "Tomorrow, I'll take you to see him tomorrow morning!"

  "Okay!"

Finney wasn't in a rush and nodded in agreement.

Early the next morning, Finney followed Thor to the dungeon beneath the palace. On the way, Finney couldn't help but ask, "Why is the dungeon located beneath the palace?"

"Because it's the safest place. There are palace soldiers, and my father and I are here. No one can escape!"

Thor tossed his Mjolnir, answering matter-of-factly.

Finney was speechless; if nothing unexpected happened, it seemed to be true.

The two quickly arrived at the dungeon. There weren't many guards; after seeing Thor, they simply verified his identity and immediately let him pass.

Phineas looked around. The Asgardian dungeons were vastly different from Earth's; there were no damp, dark huts, but instead a clean, tidy white room.

Three walls were solid, and one was transparent, allowing a clear view of what the people inside were doing.

Phineas curiously looked at the strangely shaped creatures imprisoned inside and secretly took a few photos with her phone to keep as souvenirs.

The two quickly arrived at Loki's cell.

Compared to the other prisoners, the Third Princess was quite privileged; she had a single room, a desk, snacks, and some exquisite trinkets.

  "What a rare guest!"

Because he was secretly taking pictures with his phone, Finney was a little behind, so Loki saw Thor first and said something sarcastic.

Just as he was about to say something more, he turned and saw Finney walking over. Loki shuddered, his face contorted with terror, as if he'd seen a ghost.

Seeing Loki's expression, Finney couldn't help but raise his phone again, snapping a picture before greeting him, "Long time no see!"

  "What's he doing here!?"

Loki turned to Thor in a panic, his voice trembling, showing how deep the trauma Finney had inflicted on him was.

  "He's visiting Asgard!"

Looking at Loki's expression, Thor felt a pang of pity. After replying, he immediately turned to Finney and said, "Just ask what you want to ask!"

  "Tsk, am I that scary!"

Finney muttered, looking at the frightened Loki, then said seriously, "That Mind Scepter was given to you by Thanos, right? How much do you know about him?"

Loki remained silent. After his initial panic, he calmed down. This was Asgard, after all, and with Thor present, he didn't think Finney would dare do anything.

Seeing Loki's expression, Finney turned to Thor and said, "Can we talk alone?"

  "No!"

Thor immediately replied warily. Finney's abilities were incredibly mysterious; he might have a way to break through the dungeon and harm Loki.

Seeing Thor's resolute expression, Finney sighed helplessly. After a moment's hesitation, he continued to Loki, "That scepter is very important to Thanos. Not only did you lose it, but you also caused heavy losses to his forces. He definitely won't let you off the hook."

"And he's my enemy. Tell me about him, and I'll help you deal with him. That wouldn't do you any harm, would it?"

Hearing Finney's words, Loki hesitated slightly before finally saying, "Although you're strong, you're still no match for him!"

"And I'm only temporarily captured; I haven't been completely defeated!"

"So you don't think I can handle him, right?"

Finney sighed. It seemed he hadn't been too lenient last time. Although he understood that he was indeed no match for Thanos now, being looked down upon was still very unpleasant. Loki

didn't give a clear answer, only a smirk playing on his lips, looking rather irritating.

"How about this, an intelligence exchange."

This was, after all, Asgardian territory, and Finney couldn't really do anything to Loki. So, after thinking for a moment, he said, "I'll tell you some very important information about Thanos, and you tell me what you know about Thanos, how about it?"

Loki narrowed his eyes, then nodded decisively and said, "Deal!"

After saying that, Loki looked at Thor: "Can we talk alone?"

Thor looked at Finney, then at Loki, suddenly feeling excluded, and frowned, replying, "No, I need to keep an eye on you two."

"Fine, with him there, I won't tell you."

Hearing Thor's words, Loki shrugged, said something to Finney, then turned away, leaving his back to him.

  "What do we do now?"

Finney looked at Thor and suggested, "Why don't you open the door and let me in? This brat, a good beating will make him behave."

Immediately, Loki, with his back to Finney and Thor, trembled slightly.

I wanted to say something, but I forgot. I'm so pathetic! Could you please subscribe and give me some rewards? I want a cute protagonist!!!
