Dr. Lorell looked at the X-rays. "It should be fine. It's just a minor fracture with no displacement. A cast is all she needs."
After putting on the cast for Laura Lowell, Dr. Lorell treated a wound on her arm, prescribed some medication, and went over a few precautions.
Aiden Shaw bent down and lifted Laura Lowell into his arms, bridal style. "Thank you for your help, Dr. Lorell. We'll be going now."
"You're too kind, Dr. Shaw."
After leaving the hospital, Aiden Shaw gently placed Laura Lowell in the passenger seat, helped her with the seatbelt, and then walked around the front of the car to get in.
"What would you like to eat? I'll make you something when we get home."
After the whole ordeal, Laura Lowell hadn't eaten a thing and was indeed feeling a little hungry.
"I'm craving that food from the Michelin-star chef. What I smelled earlier seemed so delicious."
Laura Lowell's romantic dinner had gone up in smoke.
