Aiden Shaw: "It's the middle of the night, and I'm at my girlfriend's house. Is there a problem?"
Zachary Redgrave had a what-the-hell look on his face: "How are you in this group chat? And I'm warning you, if you dare try anything with that girl, I'll beat you to a pulp."
Aiden Shaw: "What's between the two of us has nothing to do with you."
Hannah Hale, who clearly loved the drama, sent a string of crying-laughing emojis.
Aiden immediately set his phone to silent and placed it on the nightstand.
Laura Lowell leaned back against the headboard, a sweet smile playing on her lips. "Don't mind him. He's just talking nonsense."
"Mm, I know."
Aiden Shaw picked up some noodles with his chopsticks, blew on them to cool them down, and brought them to Laura Lowell's lips. "Eat first."
Laura Lowell obediently opened her mouth. "I'll just have Peach come take care of me tomorrow. You should go to the hospital."
