Cecilia Adler led Ian Quincy into the private room and formally introduced him to everyone.
"This is my boyfriend. His last name is Quincy. You can just call him Ian."
Camilla added, "I hear he's a student at the University of Valoria."
As soon as they heard the words "University of Valoria," everyone turned to look at Ian Quincy with admiration. Those sitting closer to him started trying to get friendly.
For a moment, he was the unrivaled center of attention.
Just then, Camilla seized control of the conversation again. "Cecilia Adler said she was the one who pursued him. Isn't Cecilia something else? She even managed to snag a university student."
She meant to show everyone that Cecilia Adler's behavior was improper.
"Well, Adler is good-looking. If she pursued me, I'd say yes too," Bonnie Halloway said with a grin.
Everyone else laughed.
Camilla emphasized, "It's the first time I've ever heard of a woman chasing a man. I find it very strange."
