As that pair parted on bad terms, Ian Quincy was gently chiding Cecilia Adler for speaking so carelessly. "Aren't you afraid Yara Kent will get the wrong idea after everything you just said?"
"Get what wrong idea? I was telling the truth. Ohh... or did I just hit a little too close to home?" Cecilia Adler lifted her hand and tapped her index finger toward him, a smile playing on her lips, but her tone was accusatory.
Ian Quincy understood what she meant and defended himself. "Don't be ridiculous. I only gave her a heads-up because she's Teacher Kent's daughter."
"Alright, fine. My mistake. Next time you give some other girl a 'heads-up,' I won't get jealous," Cecilia Adler said teasingly.
Ian Quincy was speechless. '...How could I forget she was just being jealous?!'
'If she isn't jealous, doesn't that mean she doesn't care about me?'
"Nope. You have to get jealous."
Cecilia Adler feigned anger. "You're being so unreasonable!"
