A young Soul Reaper wearing headphones swayed his head to the rhythm of explosive music.
His duty was simple—monitor the Evil Thought Tank of this colossal machine.
Unnoticed by him, the gauge needle on the dashboard silently slid into the most dangerous red zone.
The Soul Reaper remained completely oblivious.
Bang—!
A dull impact echoed.
Immediately after, a shrill alarm pierced the air.
The Soul Reaper ripped off his headphones, his face filled with confusion.
The massive tank before him began to shake violently. Cracks rapidly spread across its surface.
Purple-black evil energy—thick and viscous like sludge—burst from the fissures.
"Ah—!"
His scream was swallowed instantly.
The torrent of evil thoughts engulfed him whole.
Rumble—!!!
The entire Soul Purification Device exploded.
A terrifying shockwave swept across the Underworld.
The accumulated evil thoughts of the deceased—from across the entire universe—previously suppressed for billions of years, lost control in a single instant.
They converged.
They twisted.
They fused.
At last, they condensed into a chubby, childlike giant monster.
The monster grinned, letting out an innocent yet deeply unsettling laugh.
"Ya~hoo~"
It raised a pudgy finger and lightly pointed toward the sky of the Underworld.
Crack.
Space shattered like fragile glass.
King Yemma's Palace
King Yemma, who had been stamping documents for the deceased, suddenly looked up.
The ceiling of the grand hall was rapidly covered by a colorful, jelly-like substance.
"What is this thing?!"
Shock and fury flashed across King Yemma's face.
The next second, the jelly-like mass descended, completely sealing him—and the entire palace—inside it.
His expression froze in disbelief.
Grand Kai's Planet
Paikuhan halted mid-training.
"What terrifying evil energy…"
"It's coming from the Underworld!"
A figure landed beside him.
It was Olibu, the warrior of the West Galaxy.
"Paikuhan, you felt it too?"
"Yes."
Paikuhan nodded grimly.
"Something has gone terribly wrong. Let's go."
The two transformed into streaks of light and vanished instantly.
When they arrived at King Yemma's Palace, chaos reigned.
The chubby monster rampaged freely, wreaking havoc everywhere.
"What the hell is that thing?" Olibu frowned.
Paikuhan's eyes narrowed.
"Doesn't matter. Stop it first!"
Paikuhan shot forward like lightning.
"Thunder Flash!"
His punch slammed directly into the monster's belly.
The impact rippled like water.
The dent vanished instantly.
The monster tilted its head, staring curiously.
Then it smiled.
A miniature teleportation portal appeared in front of Paikuhan's face.
A chubby fist emerged.
Bang!
Paikuhan was blasted away like a cannonball.
North Kai's Planet
North Kai paced frantically, his antennae tied in knots.
"It's over! It's really over!"
"Even Paikuhan can't stop it!"
"Where did this monster even come from?!"
Cold sweat streamed down his face.
The monster toyed with Paikuhan mercilessly, playing with him in unimaginable ways.
"No… I have to contact Goku!"
Earth
Dark cracks tore open across the sky.
Familiar auras—filled with hatred, resentment, and evil—poured out.
Resort Island
Gohan walked along the beach hand in hand with Videl, enjoying their long-overdue honeymoon.
Suddenly, he stopped.
"What's wrong?" Videl asked.
Gohan stared toward the distant sky.
One… two… three…
Dozens of powerful, evil auras erupted across the planet.
They were all painfully familiar.
Past enemies.
Capsule Corporation — West City
Vegeta stopped mid-training inside the gravity chamber.
Sweat dripped down his face.
"Scum…"
"Clawing their way out of Hell just to die again?"
"Frieza…"
"And… Cell?"
Goku
"GOKU!!"
North Kai's voice thundered in his mind.
"The Underworld has fallen into chaos! A monster has seized control, and the balance between life and death is collapsing!"
"And Earth too—!"
Goku's brows furrowed.
Two crises.
At the same time.
"I understand."
Goku's voice was calm.
"We'll handle Earth first."
He cut off communication.
"Goten, go back to Kame House."
"Stay with Mom."
"Dad has work to do."
"Okay, Dad!"
Goku arrived at Capsule Corporation just as Vegeta exited.
Their eyes met.
"Kakarot."
Vegeta snorted.
"Looks like the trash crawled back for another beating."
"Yes."
Goku nodded.
"I'll take Frieza."
"Cell goes to Gohan."
"Hmph. Fine."
Vegeta's gaze shifted.
A familiar aura—weak, yet overflowing with rage-inducing humiliation.
Turles.
"That one's mine."
Vegeta shot into the sky as a golden streak.
Goku smiled faintly before vanishing.
Ruined City
The city lay in ruins beneath Turles's destruction.
A golden streak crashed down.
Vegeta emerged from the dust.
Turles sneered.
"Well, well… isn't this our noble Saiyan Prince?"
"You low-class trash don't deserve my name!"
"Hahahahaha!"
"Low-class warrior?"
Vegeta's eyes were ice-cold.
"Have you forgotten who I crushed under my foot like a dog?"
"You were never a genius—just my defeated opponent!"
Turles vanished.
Reappearing instantly, his punch slammed into Vegeta's face.
"Kneel!"
Bang—!
Vegeta didn't move.
His head barely tilted.
Turles froze.
"Impossible…"
Vegeta turned his head back slowly.
"Is that it?"
"You're not even qualified to scratch me."
Turles roared, unleashing a storm of punches.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Vegeta stood unmoved.
"Done?"
Vegeta lifted his head.
"Then…"
"It's my turn."
BOOM—!!!
Golden light erupted.
Super Saiyan.
Turles was blown away.
Vegeta appeared before him, grabbing his throat with one hand.
"You said…"
"Who was defeated?"
Turles was slammed into a building.
Vegeta stomped down on his chest.
"How… how is this possible?!"
Vegeta pressed harder.
"Surpass you?"
"Trash like you isn't worth surpassing."
Golden energy gathered.
"Repent in Hell."
"No—!"
Light engulfed everything.
Turles—defeated.
