The gate to the second level slowly opened.
"This one's mine."
Goku stepped forward with a smile, rolling his shoulders and flexing his wrists.
From the darkness of the second level, a pitch-black monster crawled out. Its body resembled a massive lizard, its surface slick and grotesque.
It had no visible eyes—only a huge, gaping mouth lined with sharp teeth, and a pair of crimson pupils glowing with greedy hunger deep within.
"Hehehe… light…"
It was Yakone—the monster from the Dark Planet.
A terrifying being that fed on light—or rather, energy itself.
"Everyone, be careful!"
The Supreme Kai recognized it instantly.
"This is Yakone! He's extremely dangerous! He devours energy—any kind of energy attack will only become food for him!"
"Oh?"
Instead of panicking, Goku's eyes lit up with interest.
"Devours energy, huh?"
"Isn't that perfect?"
He grinned and waved at the monster.
"Hey, big guy. Hungry? I've got a premium meal for you."
Yakone seemed to understand the provocation. He roared and opened his blood-red maw wide.
A terrifying suction force burst forth.
Goku didn't resist at all.
Instead, he actively released his ki.
But the ki he released was extremely weak—like a thin stream—slowly flowing into Yakone's mouth.
"Hm…?"
Yakone seemed dissatisfied, as if this appetizer wasn't even enough to get stuck between his teeth.
"Heh, don't rush," Goku said lightly.
"The main course is about to be served."
Boom—!!!
Golden flames of ki erupted skyward!
Goku instantly transformed into a Super Saiyan!
Brilliant golden light flooded the dim arena, and that vast, pure energy made Yakone's entire body tremble with excitement.
"Light! Delicious light!"
Yakone let out a greedy roar, opening his mouth as wide as possible and frantically devouring the golden Super Saiyan energy.
"That's it! Eat up! Eat more!"
Goku didn't stop—instead, he increased his output.
Yakone's body began to swell at a visible rate, inflating like a balloon. His black skin stretched taut until it gleamed, veins bulging grotesquely.
"Kakarot! What the hell are you doing?!"
Vegeta finally roared.
"You're feeding him!"
"That's right," Goku replied calmly, not even turning his head.
"I am feeding him."
"Haven't you heard?"
"Eating too much… makes you burst."
Yakone's body had reached its absolute limit. His skin was stretched so thin it was almost transparent, the golden energy surging inside clearly visible.
He finally realized something was wrong.
He wanted to stop.
But it was far too late.
"Are you full?"
"Then…"
"Goodbye—and good riddance."
In a single instant, Goku released all of his ki—holding nothing back!
Boom—!!!
A deafening explosion shook the entire level.
Yakone's body could no longer withstand the endless energy.
He exploded—
bursting into a blinding storm of golden light.
The energy shockwave completely leveled the entire second level.
"Phew…"
Goku powered down, letting out a breath. He turned to Vegeta and smugly flashed a V sign.
"How was that, Vegeta?"
"Solved it without throwing a single punch."
However—
That massive energy didn't dissipate.
Instead, it was instantly absorbed and funneled deeper into the spaceship.
Buzz—!!!
The entire ship let out an overwhelmed, shrill hum.
The energy-conducting pipes lining the walls flared with an unprecedented, blinding glow.
…
Deepest Level — Core Control Room
Babidi stared blankly at the energy display panel.
Earlier, Dabura had already poured an enormous amount of energy into Majin Buu.
Then Vegeta.
And now—Goku feeding Yakone.
The energy level surged violently.
90%…
95%…
98%…
99%…
100% Ding!
A crisp, metallic sound rang out.
The needle slammed violently against 100%.
The energy meter was full.
"Haha… hahahaha…"
Babidi froze for a moment—then erupted into hysterical laughter.
"Full… it's full!"
"The energy is complete!"
"Hahahahahaha!"
"Well done! Extremely well done!"
"You fools!"
"Now—let us welcome our great…"
"Majin Buu!!!"
The moment his voice fell—
At the center of the room, the enormous pink fleshy sac—connected to countless pipes—began to pulse violently.
The blood vessels on its surface throbbed madly.
A pure yet incomparably evil aura awakened from within.
The entire spaceship—no, the very ground beneath them—began to shake.
Buzz—buzz—
"T-this… this is…"
The Supreme Kai's face drained of all color.
"The energy just now…"
"Mr. Goku, the energy you used to defeat Yakone—it didn't vanish!"
"It was all absorbed!"
"What?!"
Vegeta snapped his head around.
"Kakarot!"
"You idiot!"
The Supreme Kai wailed in despair.
"It's over!"
"Too late—everything is too late!"
"Shut up!"
Vegeta roared.
"You're too noisy, useless Supreme Kai!"
He didn't bother with corridors or gates anymore.
"Anything in my way—"
Vegeta raised his hand, pointing straight down at the metal floor.
"Disappear!"
Boom—!!!
A massive, overwhelming energy beam blasted downward, tearing open a vertical passage straight to the lowest level!
Violent air currents surged upward from below.
"Go!"
Vegeta didn't hesitate for even a second, jumping down first.
Goku's expression hardened as well. He followed immediately.

Lowest Level — Core Chamber
A massive, grotesque pink fleshy sac hung suspended at the center of the chamber, writhing slightly as if breathing.
Babidi stood before it, arms spread wide in worship.
Boom!
The ceiling exploded open.
Goku and the others landed, their eyes instantly locking onto the huge pink mass.
"That is…"
Gohan swallowed hard.
"Majin Buu…"
"Did we make it in time?"
Goku clenched his fists and took a stance, staring at the still-sealed sac.
"If we destroy that thing before he comes out, it's over—right?!"
"Hahahaha…!"
Babidi laughed even harder.
"Destroy it? You no longer have that chance!"
"Open your eyes and witness it!"
"This is the moment of the great Majin Buu's resurrection!"
As his voice echoed—
The blood vessels on the surface of the fleshy sac bulged violently.
Pshhh—!
Scalding steam erupted from the top of the cocoon.
The seal was breaking.
Majin Buu—
Had fully awakened.
