After talking to Aurellia a bit more on the phone, they decided to meet directly. Eugene wanted to know more about a lot of things, and he didn't like doing that without looking at this mystery aunt's face.
Coincidentally, this aunt lived in the next town, but actually worked in the capital in a game company, which meant Eugene could meet her without making elaborate arrangements.
Unfortunately, however, on the Wednesday afternoon they decided to meet, Arthur had some work to do. It wasn't like Eugene couldn't go alone, but it was always good to be cautious. Thankfully, there was someone whose job was to enjoy herself all the time.
"Do you remember her face?" Sophie asked while hugging Eugene's arm, looking up at the stairs they had to climb to reach the cafe for the appointment.
