Arthur looked incredulous. "What's that even mean?"
Eugene chuckled as he tried to explain--at least in his own interpretation. "I mean...it's usually teenagers who worry about those kinds of stuff, since adults--normally--figure out cues and signals already from their many experiences."
"Experience..."
Arthur looked at Eugene in confusion. For all he knew, Eugene was rich in experience--at least more than him. Just looking at his friends and body count, he was the epitome of a healthy adult in his early twenties, unlike Arthur, who needed his cousin's help with blind dates.
"I didn't do date," Eugene shrugged. "I did hook up, so all of us involved already know what's in store, you know? It's like going to a restaurant expecting food."
"Huh..."
"And I guess...when you're always on a blind date, it ends with whether or not you agree to go further?"
"Ah..."
