Hannah had the greatest dream.
She was a fairy. With a pair of butterfly wings behind her back, she glided around a clearing protected by a fence of lush, tall trees. Beneath her, a carpet of violet and blue flowers bloomed beautifully, fresh dew still clinging to the green leaves and velvet petals. Under the eternal blue sky, she flew and danced around, singing at the top of her lungs, while the birds and the bees were blowing the accompaniment melody.
When she got bored, she flew toward the protective tree, trying to move further into the forest. Unfortunately, the branches of the trees barricaded the border, and the petals of the flowers swirled around her, whispering a soothing melody that warned her it was dangerous out there.
That was when Hannah woke up.
She couldn't remember her dream, but as she blinked slowly at the glowing stars on the ceiling, Hannah felt the bed was more cramped than usual.
