Oh, mangos!? O.O
Lloyd didn't see this coming. XD
Nalia, you sweet summer child.

*On Destiny's Bounty, the ninjas sleep when a banging noise wakes them.*
"Evil doesn't sleep, and neither should you!" said Wu, with Nalia banging a gong.
*The ninjas groan.*
"In order to reach your full potential, we must greet each day as an opportunity." said Wu.
Kai gets up. "Okay, okay, we're up. But if you want us to reach our full potential, shouldn't we at least get a full night of rest?"
"You call that a rest? I think my back has more lumps than the mattress," said Cole, stretching his back.
"We were up so late, talking about how cool it is to have a new headquarters; I guess we lost track of time. Since the burned down our, I'm just glad we have a roof over our head..." Jay starts to brush his teeth and spits out some dirt that replaced his toothpaste.
"What is our lesson today, Sensei? Mastering the Strike of the Scorpion? Or perhaps the grace of—" The ground breaks, and Zane coughs.
"I think today's lesson would be chores." said Wu.
"Chores?!"
Nalia giggled silently at that.
"You are gonna help them too, Nalia," said Wu.
"What!?" Nalia stared at Wu in disbelief.
"Ninja fight, Sensei! They do not clean." said Cole.
"In order to respect ourselves, we must respect our new home and where we are from. And this place is a long way from becoming a ninja headquarters. I expect things to be spotless when I return. And put your backs into it." Wu takes the gong from Nalia and bangs it as he leaves.
"This place is gonna take forever to clean and fix up." Kai grumbled.
"And here I thought, I was getting out of cleaning duty this time." Nalia huffed, annoyed.
"Unless we put more than our backs into it, huh?" said Jay.
"Ninja, go!" Cole cleans up the room with Spinjitzu. He takes out all the trash and puts it outside of the Bounty.
"Ooo, yeah, that looks so much faster." Nalia smiled and began using Spinjitzu to help clean up what the others missed.
Zane throws the Shurikens of Ice toward the walls of Destiny's Bounty to freeze it. Kai uses the Sword of Fire on the ice: "Ninja, go!" Both of them use Spinjitzu to melt the rest.
*Cole and Kai are fixing the machines inside the Destiny's Bounty. Jay uncovers a huge computer system and tries to use the Nunchucks of Lightning to fix it. All the ninjas try to fix the canvas.*
"Ninja, go!"
*Nya and Sensei Wu enter a room to find the guys and Nalia playing a video game.*
"What took you so long?" Kai asked.
"Wow, This place looks amazing! You guys did all this?" Nya asked.
"Ninja don't just fight, Nya. We clean." said Cole.
"Nalia, stop trying to kill me! We are on the same team here!" said Jay, dodging Nalia from killing him in the game a tenth time.
"Oh, you have exceeded my expectations..." said Wu.
*A car honk is heard.*
"...but can you keep it up?" Wu questioned as everyone headed outside to see what was going on.
*Ed and Edna, Jay's parents, are coming over to visit them.*
"Looks like we're about have some visitors, and loud ones at that." said Nya.
Jay sigh. "Ugh... It's my parents. Please, if they start yapping, just don't let them going, okay? They don't know when to quit. And if you start talking, then they'll start talking. And suddenly, half the day is gone before you know it ends..."
Kai cuts in, "We get it! They talk a lot!" mumbles to Zane and Nalia. "The cherry doesn't fall far from its blossom."
Nalia giggles at that as she nods.
*Ed and Edna arrive.*
"Oh, heh. Take a note, Edna: either better brakes or a better bumper... Oh, will you look at all this great stuff? They can't just get rid of it. We should have brought the trailer, Edna." said Ed.
"This ain't a flea market, Ed. We're here for Jay!" said Edna.
"What was that? Did you take a note?" Ed asked.
"I'm writing it down, Ed." said Edna.
"Mom! Dad! What are you doing here?" Jay asked, while acting all happy.
"Oh, look! It's my baby boy! It's been so long since we heard from you!" said Edna.
"Ma, I called you two days ago." said Jay.
Ed giggles. "Oh well... It's not soon enough, son. When are you coming out to the junkyard? You say you are coming an..an..and you don't."
"Dad...do we have to talk about the junkyard in front of my friends?" said Jay.
Nalia observed them closely, as she had never seen actual parents besides Garmadon. "Is this what it's like to have parents?"
"He hates it when we tell people he was born in a junkyard," said Edna before she noticed Nalia. "Aww, who is this little ray of sunshine?"
"That's Nalia, but she can't speak. So the only way for her to communicate is by hand signs or writing." Jay explained.
Nalia grew a shy smile, looking at them with big eyes. "H-Hello, nice to meet you."
"Ooo, isn't she just adorable, Ed?" said Edna, walking over and squeezing her cheeks, as she couldn't get over how cute she was.
Nalia didn't know what was happening or how to act, as this was the first time she had been shown this kind of affection. So tears slowly showed up in the corner of her eyes. "What is this warm feeling I'm getting? Is this what it feels like to be loved by someone..... I wish I knew who my parents were..... and if they are still out there somewhere."
"Oh dear, what's wrong, sweetie?" Ed asked as he and Edna noticed the tears running down Nalia's face.
Nalia opened her mouth to say something, but she could only let out a weak cry. She wrapped her arms around Edna crying into her chest.
"Did I say something wrong? Why is she upset?" Edna asked as she tried comforting Nalia as she would with Jay when he was little.
"From what we know, she grew up without her parents. So she probably isn't used to this," said Cole.
"Oh, poor little thing. That's so sad to hear," said Edna.
Nalia sniffled as she slowly looked up. "S-sorry for crying."
"It's alright, sweetie; sometimes it helps to let it all out," said Edna, smiling at her.
Nalia returned a small smile as she tried wiping away her tears.
"Dear, how about we remove these so we can clean up those tears," said Edna, taking off Nalia's glasses.
Nalia's eyes snapped open when her glasses were removed. "Oh no!" She looked around at the others, seeing everyone's auras, even Nya's. She could feel the burning pain in her glowing golden eyes. She let out a painful hiss as she quickly took back her glasses while she covered her eyes.
"Nalia, what's wrong!"
"Did you guys notice her eyes? They were glowing."
"Nalia!"
"Sorry, I need some time alone!" Nalia quickly ran away from the others inside the Bounty, going to her and Nya's room. Jumping into her bed, she pulled a blanket over herself. "Why wouldn't the pain go away? Why do I have to keep wearing these stupid glasses? Old man! Why didn't you tell me anything? You left me with no answers to my questions!" Tears were running down her face again as the anger in her was growing.
Nalia stayed under the blanket in her bed for a good while until she had begun to calm down.
"....W-o..... a-m..... I... wh-t am..... I." Nalia ever so softly whispered to herself.
"...Wait, my voice!" Nalia's eyes widened as she just realized her voice was slowly returning.
Nalia pulled away the blanket and sat up in her bed, taking a deep breath before opening her mouth. "I.... a-m.... N-ia..... N-ia..... is..... Lia." Tears once again began running. "I'm getting it back. It might still take a while, but I don't mind, not after this. I should tell the others. Wait, no, I should make it a surprise. I could sing one of the songs I've been working on as a surprise." A big smile grew on her face.
As Nalia began thinking about what song she should sing for the team, the surprise in her voice returned. Someone knocked on the door.
"Nalia, are you in here?" Nya asked, walking into the room to check on her as the team was showing Jay's parents around.
Nalia looked at Nya with a big smile, running over and hugging her before letting go. "I'm all better now, Nya; sorry for worrying you all."
Nya was slightly surprised by the hug but returned it before letting go. "Well, that's good to know. We got worried when you ran off."
"Can we go back to the others? I wanna apologize to Jay's parents for how I acted." Nalia looked at her, still smiling.
"Oh, yeah, sure. But what's got you all smiling now? Did something good happen?" Nya asked, a little confused.
Nalia giggled softly at her confused look. "Not telling." She took Nya's hand and began pulling her along to the bridge, where the sound of voices could be heard.
"Haha. Amazing, son! We're so proud of you." said Ed.
"Why don't you tell them about the button?" Cole asked.
"Heh, heh, it's not ready yet," said Jay.
"Oh, what's the button?" Edna asked.
"He's working on a special defense system." said Zane.
"Something every ninja headquarters needs." said Kai.
"Oh, really? What does it do? Can I help?" Ed asked.
"No, it's okay. I don't need your help, dad. Let's just leave it alone." said Jay, before he noticed Nalia running into the room, pulling Nya along.
"Oh look, it's Nalia; it seems like she is all better again," said Cole.
Nalia let go of Nya's hand after entering the room but kept on smiling at the others. "Sorry for my outburst; I didn't mean to worry you all."
"Oh, it's alright, sweetie, as long as you are feeling better. We are just happy to see you smiling now," said Edna.
"Yeah, seeing you all happy again is nice," said Zane.
Nalia giggled softly. "I want to tell them about my voice, but I want to surprise them." She couldn't contain her joy and already wanted to let it all out in song, but she knew she still needed to wait a little longer.
Jay cleared his throat, gaining his parents attention, along with the others. "Hey, look at the time. Don't you need to get back before it gets dark? I told you, there's dangerous Serpentine out there."
"Uh, I suppose we could get back." said Ed.
"Edna, it was a pleasure hearing about Jay's first potty time." said Cole.
"Oh, if you thought that was good, wait until you hear the story about the time I caught him kissing his pillow!" said Edna.
"Snakes, Ma. Snakes!" said Jay.
"Okay, we're going. We're going." said Edna, walking away with Ed. "So you promise to come to the junkyard to visit your mother and father?"
"Yes, I promise! But only if you leave. I don't want you to get hurt. It's getting dark. Uh, your headlights are working, right?" said Jay.
*Ed turns on headlights. Everyone grunts as they shield their eyes.*
Nalia hissed at the headlights hitting her eyes through the glasses; she went on to shield them like the others.
"Heh, like 'em? I used a little extra juice."Ed turns off headlights. "Yep. Bye, son. I couldn't be more proud."
"And bring Nya with you, will ya? I can see why you like her. Oh, and do also bring sweet little Nalia; I'm sure she would love to visit us." said Edna.
"Mom...!" shouted Jay.
"Now that they have left, perhaps Jay can teach us The Art of... Kissing Pillows." Wu snickers.
"Argh!"
Everyone laughs as he walks back in the Bounty, embarrassed.
"What's kissing? Is it something you eat?" Nalia looked at the others, confused.
"Oh, boy." said both Kai and Cole.
"You'll learn it when you get older." said Nya.
"Why can't I learn it now? Why do I first get to learn it when I'm older? Is it something bad like swearing?" Nalia pouted, as there were still many things she didn't know about. So she couldn't help being all curious about a lot of things.
"Nalia, how about we go downstairs and make something to eat, along with some fresh healing tea for you," said Wu.
*Time skip to morning. Jay is working on the button. Kai and Zane pass by.*
"Sure got a lot of junk piling up. If only there was a place we could get rid of it..." said Kai.
"If you don't mind, I'm trying to focus." said Jay.
*Cole then passes by.*
"Hi, Mom and Dad. Of course, I'd love to visit. What kind of son would I be if I didn't want to?" said Cole pretending to be on the phone.
"Heheheheh. I know what you're trying to do! Okay, look, I might have promised to visit my parents, but there's a lot of stuff on my plate." said Jay.
"I wonder what a junkyard looks like? Is it full of just junk or other things?" Nalia wondered, sitting with her notebook and writing something she didn't want the others to see.
"Seriously, you too, Nalia?" said Jay; he let out a sigh.
*Nya comes in.*
Jay wipes the grease and oil off his face "Hehe. Hi, Nya."
"You gonna visit your parents, today?" Nya asked.
"Uh, sure am. Just about to leave." said Jay.
"Tell them I say hi." said Nya, leaving the room.
*The other ninjas and Nalia look at Jay.*
"What? So my plate's not that full." said Jay with a shrug.
Nalia was shaking her head. "Jay is so weird around Nya; I wonder why?"
*Jay is now outside getting Wisp, but he won't budge.*
"Come on, Wisp! It'll be a quick visit. Just in and out, nothing more." said Jay.
"Hm, it is as I suspected. The dragons are molting. They're shedding their scales." said Wu.
"What does that mean?" Jay asked.
"Every adolescent dragon goes through a transformation before it becomes an adult. We must allow them to migrate east to the Spirit Coves for their transformation." said Wu.
"Will we see them again?" Jay asked.
"It is hard to say. But we need to allow them to follow their path." said Wu.
"Rocky's going east?" Cole pets Rocky. "Say it isn't so, Rocky."
Zane pets Shard.
Nalia looked sad, knowing the dragons were leaving. She walked over to each dragon, giving them a hug and petting them. "S-ve... t-a-els." She whispered in a low voice that only the dragons would hear and understand. They were happy to hear her voice slowly returning.
"Well, I guess I gotta go on this long walk all by myself. Sure be nice to have company..." said Jay, as Nya begins to nod until...
"Of course we'll go, buddy." said Kai.
"I could use a break." said Cole.
"All you had to do was ask." said Zane.
"I would love to come! A new place to explore and add to my journal," Nalia smiled happily.
*Jay sighs in annoyance. Wu also tags along as the dragons fly away. He plays the Sacred Flute while they walk.*
Jay sighs. "Of all the days to lose our ride..."
"That flute. You've never told us why it's so special." said Zane.
"Long ago there were many flutes, created to combat the powers of the Serpentine and drive them underground. But over time, Ninjago's forgotten its ancestors' wisdom, and now this is the only one." He plays the flute again.
"I get the lesson: respect your elders or else suffer the consequences. Boy, you guys are laying it on thick." said Jay.
Wu chuckles. "Perhaps you are only hearing what you need to hear."
Nalia smiled, listening to the flute, and began humming softly to the sound and dancing to it.
"Looks like Nalia likes the sound of the flute," said Kai, as they watched her being in a good mood.
*Jay stops walking after approaching the Junkyard.*
"What is it?" Nya asked.
"It's quiet. My family's never quiet." Jay runs and hears Ed and Edna's mumbled grunts in a locked fridge. He kicks it open.
"What happened? Who did this?" Jay rips the tape off Edna's mouth.
"Sweetheart, you came!" said Edna.
Jay rips the tape off Ed's mouth.
"Oh, you gotta get out of here. You shouldn't have come, it's the ssssnakes!" said Ed.
"The bite of the Fangpyre! Once they sink their teeth, their venom can turn anything into a serpent. It's only a matter of time before the full transformation is complete." said Wu.
Nalia's eyes widened in surprise at seeing what had happened to them.
*Fangpyres hisses.*
"Uh, is that wrecking ball staring at me?" Cole asked.
"Duck!" Jay saves his parents.
Ed groans "Thankssss, sssson."
"Lloyd!" shouted Wu.
Nalia quickly turned to where Wu was looking and saw Lloyd on top of a pile of junk.
"Hello, uncle. It looks like we're not the only family reunion. I'm glad you brought the ninja. I could use some help taking out the trash. Muahaha!" said Lloyd, letting out an evil laugh. "Oh, and hi, Lia. I see you are here, too."
Nalia gave him a small smile and waved at him.
"If we want to turn your parents back, we need the antivenom in the staff." said Nya.
"Second dose, to the dirt!" shouted Cole, everyone plunges to the ground as the wrecking ball attacks.
*Fangpyres hisses.*
"Easier said than done, sis. We're a bit outnumbered." said Kai.
"Nobody messes with my family. Ninja, go!" said Jay.
"Ninja, go!" The ninjas went on to use Spinjitzu against the Fanpyres.
*Fangpyres hisses.*
Wu plays the flute as Nya attacks two soldiers.
Nalia went to Fangpyre and asked questions with her hand signs. None of them understood her signs, and the sand would only keep blocking their attacks on her without her knowing.
Nya grunts. "I don't know, Sensei. I think we make a pretty good duet."
*Lloyd plays loud music on a Fangpyre-bitten boombox.*
"Young nephew, must I teach you whose side you should be on?" said Wu.
Nalia turned her attention back to Lloyd as she heard other kinds of music. "There are so many kinds of music that I didn't even know about!" Her eyes sparkle in wonder.
Lloyd turns the volume up. "Sorry, uncle. Can't hear you!"
A Fangpyre tries sneaking up on Nalia but misses as she runs over and gets on the same junk pile as Lloyd was on.
"W-what! Lia!?" said Lloyd, surprised to see her come out of nowhere, only for her to grab his hands and begin dancing with him. "What the hell is going on!?" He shouted.
Nalia had a big smile on her face, laughing softly as she danced around with Lloyd, just having pure fun. She did not care about the danger around her.
"Lia! I'm trying to be evil here! This isn't helping!" shouted Lloyd, trying to get out of her grip, but she couldn't as she had a good grip on him.
Fangtom looked on in confusion at the two kids dancing around. He tried attacking, but a shield made of sand came out of nowhere, blocking his attack.
*Music dies down as a Fangpyre robot appears.*
"Ah! What is that thing?" Jay asked.
"It was supposed to be in your honor, son, but do you like it?" said Ed.
"Thanks, but no thanks." said Jay.
"Aww, the music stopped." Nalia huffed, annoyed, as she finally let go of Lloyd and crossed her arms, pouting. Her sand shield also went away.
Lloyd was relieved when she finally let go and stopped dancing with him, but seeing her now upset made him feel a little bad for her.
Nalia quickly blocked an attack from a Fangtom that tried to sneak attack her, but the junk she was standing on wasn't all that stable as she began falling, but was saved by her sand powers.
"Why'd you have to be born in a Junkyard?" Cole asked, running and quickly picking Nalia up on the way.
"I know. Tell me about it." said Jay.
*A Fangpyre crane with a sentient wrecking ball attacks the ninjas.*
"Uh, wasn't there five of us?" Kai asked.
*Jay is on the wrecking ball before jumping into the cockpit.*
"Let's see if I can work this." Jay moves a handle.
*The Fangpyre robot attacks Cole. Who places Nalia behind him.*
Cole grunts "Don't worry, I got it." Jay uses wrecking ball to save him. "I told you, I had it."
"I don't think you did." Nalia looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Retreat!" Lloyd and Fangtom escape on a Rattlecopter.
"He's getting away with the staff!" said Nya.
Jay sighs. "Right now would be a good time to have those Dragons."
"It'ssss okay, sssson." said Ed.
"There is still a way." said Wu.
"How?" Jay asked.
"Part of reaching your own full potential is understanding your weapon's potential. Once it is in tune with a focused heart, its secrets and powers can be unlocked." said Wu.
".....Once it is in tune with a focused heart, its secrets and powers can be unlocked," Nalia repeated in her head as she remembered the old man telling her the same thing once.
"Oh, this is not the time to be cryptic." said Jay.
"He's saying our weapons are vehicles themselves." said Zane.
"Don't tell me I have to ride this thing like a broomstick." said Kai.
"Jay, concentrate on unlocking your Golden Weapon. Let your heart guide you. Imagine you're taking flight." said Wu.
*Jay successfully turned his Nunchucks into the Storm Glider.*
"Whoa! Haha, did I just do that?" said Jay surprised.
"Wow! So cool!" Nalia looked with big, sparkly eyes.
*Kai turned his into the Blade Cycle, Zane's into the Snowmobile, and Cole's into the Tread Assault.*
"Ha! I hate to hurt Rocky's feelings, but I think he's just been replaced." said Cole.
"Maybe I can do the same if I follow the instructions the old man showed me a few times." Nalia thought to herself.
*The ninjas chases after Lloyd with Jay cheering.*
"Does your flute turn into anything?" Nya asked.
Wu looks at flute. "I wish."
Nalia closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and began focusing on the warm feeling she was getting from her soul.
For a moment, nothing was happening, but as she kept staying in a deep focus, the warm feeling she felt was growing stronger. Soon enough, she opened her eyes in surprise. A few sparks of blue fire came out of her mouth.
"W-what just happened?" Nalia didn't know what to think; she looked at the others but saw they hadn't noticed what had just happened.
"Did I just breathe fire? But how? That doesn't make sense and shouldn't be possible. At least from what I've read so far." Nalia tried to think of a good reason but couldn't come up with anything.
"Nalia, we might have a way to catch up with the other!" shouted Nya, getting her attention.
Nalia turned her head, looking at Nya, smiling slightly, as she ran over to join her and the others.
*Sometime later, with the ninjas, all their vehicles disappear. Jay screams while falling from the sky, but Nya catches him in the jalopy.*
"Hi, Jay!" Nalia smiled at him.
"Heh, nice catch. And hi, Nalia," said Jay.
"Aw, I knew I liked thissss girl." said Edna.
"Everyone!" shouted Fangtom. "Attack!"
"Huh? Why isn't this thing working?" Kai asked.
"Your weapon is merely an extension of your mind. If your mind is immobile, so is your weapon." said Wu.
"Oh, boy. Oh, gosh. Oh, golly, oh, duh. Get in, boys!" said Ed.
"We have to get back to headquarters!" said Jay.
"Go! They're getting away!" shouted Lloyd.
*The ninjas gets back to the Bounty before the Fangpyre.*
"Come with me. Once we reverse the venom, we can fix you." said Nya.
"Man the stations, everyone!" said Jay.
"Jay, we better hurry." said Kai.
"I've been waiting for this moment." Jay presses button, but nothing happens.
"They're gaining on us!" shouted Kai.
"Someone do something!" Nalia looked at the others, nervous.
"Bottoms, up!" said Ed.
*Ed and Edna drinks the antivenom. Laugh and turn back to humans.*
"Oh, that's good." said Ed.
"Ugh, I don't get what's wrong. I spent forever on this. It's supposed to work!" said Jay.
"Uh, son? Maybe I can help?" said Ed.
Jay gasps. "Dad! You're okay!"
"You're darn tooting. Oh, let's have a look." Ed fixes wiring. "Oh, yeah. Uh-huh. Oh, that should do it. Now try it."
*Jay presses the button. The Bounty opens its wings and rocket boosters, allowing it to fly away.*
"Wow, Jay's dad is so cool." Nalia smiled before coughing as a bit of smoke came from her mouth. ".....Great, now I have to worry about this; I just hope it doesn't ruin my voice or sense of taste."
"No, no, no, no!" Lloyd coughs from down below.
*Nya drops the staff and Fangtom picks it up.*
"These ninja..." said Fangtom. "...they must be stopped."
"Oh, tell me about it." said Lloyd.
*Back at the Bounty*
"We'll get you back to the Junkyard just as soon as we see the coast is clear. But stay as long as you'd like. It's nice having you here." said Jay.
"Oh, take a note, Edna: of all our inventions, this one is our greatest." said Ed.
"I already know, dear." Edna tosses the notepad away. The trio embraces each other as Wu watches them.
Nalia was sitting on the upper deck of the Bounty, looking up at the sky while more smoke was coming out of her mouth. "What in the world am I?"
