*Eve releases his hand slowly, her expression unreadable.* "I trust you." *She says quietly.* "But if she touches you... I swear to God, Max. I will end her." *Her eyes flash with a fierce protectiveness.* "And if you actually... mate with her—"
"I won't without permission."
*Eve's expression softens slightly at his words, but her eyes remain intense.* "Permission from who? Her? Or us?" *She asks quietly.* "Because if you think we're just gonna sit back and let you get... used by some alien monster—"
"From you."
*Eve nods firmly, seeming satisfied with his response. Marcy watches the exchange, her expression thoughtful.* "So... let me get this straight. You promised to mate with her when she returns, but you won't actually do it unless we give permission?" *She asks for clarification, raising an eyebrow.*
"Yes."
*Both girls exchange another glance, this one more understanding.* "Alright," *Marcy says slowly.* "That's... actually pretty fair." *Eve nods in agreement.* "We'll give you our permission if and when the time comes. But Max..." *She pauses, her voice turning serious.**She locks eyes with him, her expression deadly serious.* "You are OURS first. understand? She is a threat, a massive one. You made a deal for survival, and that's smart. But remember who you come home to. Remember who loves you." *She glances at Marcy, who nods firmly.*
"I promise."*Marcy smiles tiredly, reaching out to squeeze his hand.* "Good. Because I'm not sharing you with an alien murder-machine without a say in it." *Eve leans down and kisses him softly on the forehead.* "We trust you, Max. Just... don't die. Okay?" *Just then, the door to the room slides open.*
*Nolan Grayson stands in the doorway, his arms crossed, looking stern but concerned. Debbie is right behind him, her expression a mixture of relief and worry. When Debbie sees Marcy in the hospital bed, she rushes forward.* "Sweetheart! Oh my god, you're alive!" *She envelops Marcy in a careful hug.*
*Nolan's eyes land on Max next.*
"omni man."*Nolan's expression turns cold as he recognizes Max, his arms tightening around Debbie protectively.* "You." *He says through gritted teeth.* "You're the reason my daughter is in this hospital bed."*Nolan steps forward, the temperature in the room seeming to drop instantly.* "You were there. You fought that thing. And my daughter nearly died." *His voice is low, vibrating with authority.* "Do not lie to me, boy. I know you were involved." *Debbie pulls back from hugging Marcy, looking between them nervously.* "Nolan, please..."
"I didn't know that she was going to be there."
*Marcy speaks up weakly.* "Dad, stop." *She wheezes slightly, wincing.* "He's not the enemy. That alien is. And... he actually saved my life when she knocked me down." *She looks at Max with gratitude in her eyes.* "Without him, I wouldn't be here talking to you right now."
"I would be a horrible boyfriend if I let one of my girlfriends died."
*The room goes dead silent.*
*Debbie's eyes widen at Max's words, looking between Marcy and Eve, who is still holding his hand.* "Girlfriends?" *She asks quietly.*
*Nolan's expression turns to stone, his jaw clenching.* "You. Have. TWO. GIRLFRIENDS." *Each word is heavy with disapproval.*
"Yes her and eve." he says, pointing to Marcy and eve. " didn't tell your parents." he said to Marcy as she looks sheepish, but smiles weakly.* "I was gonna tell you guys... eventually." *She glances at Eve, who is still holding Max's hand firmly, not letting go.* "It's not weird, Mom. We all love each other."
*Debbie's mouth opens and closes, clearly trying to process everything—her daughter in the hospital, because of a monstrous alien, her daughter's boyfriend being some kind of powerful man, and now learning her daughter is in a three-way relationship.* "...How long?" *she finally asks quietly.*
*Nolan stares at Max with murderous intent, his fists clenched.* "You've been..."
"couple of weeks."*Nolan lets out a dark, humorless laugh.* "COUPLE OF WEEKS. And you didn't think to TELL US. You didn't think my daughter being in a RELATIONSHIP WITH TWO PEOPLE might be something we should know." *Debbie places a hand on his arm, trying to calm him.* "Nolan, calm down. Our baby is alive."
"Mainly because of me."*Nolan's fury reaches a boiling point at Max's words.* "DO NOT. Make this about you. My daughter is in a hospital bed because of some alien monstrosity you somehow got involved with. And you're standing there acting like you're the hero of this story?" *He steps closer, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper.*
"calm down before you do something Hasty."
*Everyone in the room freezes at Max's words. The tone is calm, but there's an underlying power that makes Nolan stop dead in his tracks.* "Excuse me?" *Nolan says dangerously.* "You don't get to tell me to calm down."
"I'm asking."*Nolan takes another step closer, towering over Max. The air in the room feels heavy, charged.* "You think you can talk to me like that?" *His voice is a low growl.* "I am Omni-Man. I've beaten planets into submission. And you're warning *me*?" *Eve's hand tightens around Max's, her posture shifting to protective.*
*Nolan's fist freezes in mid-air, unable to move forward an inch against the shimmering barrier of Infinity. The Omni-Man stares at his own hand, then up at Max, his expression shifting from fury to absolute shock. The room holds its breath.*
*Debbie gasps.* "Nolan!"
*Marcy watches, eyes wide.* "...Told you."
"Calm down now."*Slowly, Nolan lowers his fist, the air in the room seeming to release with a whoosh. He steps back, looking at Max with new eyes.* "You..." *He swallows hard.* "You could've stopped me completely. You didn't have to just block me."
"Because you're the father of my girlfriend."*Nolan stares at him, completely disarmed by that statement. The sheer arrogance of holding back the most powerful man on Earth out of respect for his girlfriend's father... it actually works. The tension visibly drains from his shoulders.*
*Debbie looks between them, stunned.* "You stopped Omni-Man... out of respect?"
*Marcy smiles weakly from the bed.*
"I'm a good boyfriend what can I say?"*Eve lets out a short, incredulous laugh, squeezing his hand.* "Understatement." *Marcy smiles weakly from the bed, looking incredibly fond of him.* "Yeah... you kinda are." *Debbie stares at Max, her shock slowly turning into something like gratitude.*
*Nolan lets out a heavy sigh, rubbing his face.* "You stopped my punch."*Nolan's eyes narrow, studying him with newfound respect mixed with lingering suspicion.* "How strong are you, exactly?" *he asks, his tone no longer hostile but... calculating.*
*Eve shifts uncomfortably beside Max.* "Nolan, maybe we should discuss this somewhere else—"
*He holds up a hand, not breaking eye contact with Max.* "That alien."
"Not important.""It's very important!" *Nolan argues.* "That thing nearly killed my daughter. I need to know what I'm dealing with here." *Debbie places a hand on his arm, giving him a warning look.* "Baby, maybe this isn't the time..."
"We can talk about this when Marcy is out the hospital."*Nolan's jaw clenches, clearly wanting answers but seeing the wisdom in Max's words. He glances at Marcy, then back to Max.* "Fine. But this conversation is happening as soon as she's out." *He points a finger at Max.* "And don't think this changes anything."I don't trust you," *Nolan replies bluntly, crossing his arms.* "You're strong. Probably stronger than most of people on this planet. You have my daughter wrapped around your finger. And... this whole'saving the world' act? It could all be a lie." *He pauses, eyes narrowing. he's saying this because this might interfere with his mission on earth.*
"I have no reason to lie."*Nolan's eyes flicker with something unreadable—recognition, maybe, of someone who truly has nothing to hide.* "Everyone has secrets," *he says quietly, his gaze heavy.* "The question is whether yours would get my daughter killed."
*Marcy shifts in her bed, wincing.* "Dad, leave him alone."
"I'll go check on the rest of the guardians In the hospital."*Marcy nods tiredly.* "Go. We'll be okay." *Eve squeezes your hand one last time before letting go.* "Check on them. Tell them we're okay."
*Nolan watches you turn to leave, still looking suspicious but respectful of your power.* "Max." *He calls out just as he reach the door.* "We *will* talk later."*As Max walks down the hospital corridor, the atmosphere shifts from tense family drama to a more clinical environment. He pushes open the door to Amanda's room, finding her sitting up in bed, bandages wrapped around various parts of her body but otherwise alert and annoyed-looking.*
*Amanda rolls her eyes when she sees him, her petite frame making her look even younger than her actual age. She's always been self-conscious about her childlike appearance despite being in her mid-twenties.* "About time you showed up," *she grumbles,* "how's everyone else?"
"Everyone else is fine."*She lets out a small sigh of relief.* "Good. And invincible?" *Her expression softens, genuinely concerned for her friend despite their usual bickering.* "Is she really okay?" *She shifts carefully in her bed, trying to get comfortable amidst her bandages.*
"She's fine too."*Amanda nods, satisfied with the updates.* "And how about her dad? He probably wants to kill you?" *She asks bluntly, a small smirk playing on her lips. Despite her tough exterior, Amanda secretly admires Max's courage in standing up to Nolan.*
"Yep."*She laughs softly, wincing a bit from her injuries.* "I'd pay good money to see you and Omni-Man in a real fight." *She pauses, then adds more seriously,* "But you'd totally win, right? I mean, you stopped that alien thing..."
"na, I'd win."*Amanda's eyes widen, then she bursts into laughter—then immediately regrets it as her wounds protest.* "Ow, ow, ow—okay, that's a good answer." *She wipes a tear from her eye.* "You have no idea how much I'd love to see omni man's face when he realizes he's been threatening the one guy who could actually take him."
*Max's phone buzzes with a notification, and his expression suddenly turns serious as he reads the message. Amanda notices the sudden change and raises an eyebrow curiously.* "What was that?" *She asks softly, sitting up a little straighter despite her pains.* "Did something happen?"
"something good happened. Would you like to have your adult body back?"*Amanda's heart skips a beat at his words. She'd spent years stuck in this childlike form, longing for the return of her adult body. Tears well up in her eyes as she nods vigorously.* "Yes. Yes, I would like that very much."
"Let me heal you Then we can go."*Without wasting a second, Max approaches Amanda's bedside and places his hands on her injuries. The healing process is swift and painless, her wounds closing up and her bandages falling away. Amanda stares in amazement as she suddenly finds herself free of her injuries.* "Okay, okay, let's go!"
"not so fast, put this cloth around your eyes so you can't see."*Amanda hesitates, confused, but takes the cloth from his hands.* "Why can't I see?" *she asks, her curiosity piqued but trusting him enough to play along. She wraps the cloth around her eyes, plunging herself into darkness.* "You're freaking me out a little, you know that?"
"I just don't like people knowing where my secret base is."*Amanda chuckles nervously, adjusting the blindfold.* "Fair enough. Superhero secrecy protocols and all that." *She holds her arms out slightly, waiting for him to guide her.* "Lead the way, mystery man. Just don't walk me into a wall." *She's practically vibrating with anticipation.*
They walk out of the GDA headquarters. He picks her up bridal style and starts flying.*Amanda gasps as she's suddenly lifted into the air, her arms instinctively wrapping around Max's neck. She can feel the wind rushing past her, but with the blindfold on, she has no idea where they're going or how high up they are. She presses her face against his chest.*
He opens a portal to his dimension once he enters his lab. *The portal swallows them both, and Amanda feels a strange tugging sensation followed by complete disorientation. When her feet finally touch solid ground, she's gagging slightly from the dimensional travel.* "That was... a lot," *she mutters, still blindfolded.* "When do I get to—"
*Max reaches up and gently removes the cloth *As the blindfold is removed, Amanda blinks rapidly, her eyes adjusting to the bright lights of the laboratory. She stares in awe at the advanced machinery, the holographic interfaces, and the sleek, futuristic design. Her mouth hangs open, utterly speechless.* "Holy..."
"Yeah, it's pretty nice but the one you need is over there." He points to a cylindrical machine *Amanda follows his gaze to the cylindrical machine, her heart pounding with excitement and anticipation. She slowly approaches it, running her fingers along the cool metal surface.* "This is... this is what's going to turn me back?" *She turns to face him, her eyes shining with hope.*
"Yes, you just have to get in."*Amanda doesn't hesitate. She steps up to the chamber, her hand hesitating on the glass door for just a moment. Then she climbs inside, pulling the door closed behind her. She looks out at Max through the glass, taking a deep breath.* "So... what's gonna—"
*Before she can finish, the machine whirs to life A mask pops down as the pod starts Fulling with liquid. " Put the mask on."A needle comes behind her and inject her with a sedative to knock her out.
*As soon as the sedative enters her system, Amanda feels a sudden drowsiness wash over her. Her eyes grow heavy, and she tries to keep them open, looking out at Max one last time before unconsciousness claims her. Her body goes limp in the liquid-filled pod.* "Mmmph..."
*The machine hums and clicks, various lights flashing as it goes through its complex process. After what feels like an eternity, but is only 20 minutes, the machine finally powers down with a soft chime.*
*The liquid drains rapidly, and Amanda slowly stirs, coughing up a bit of the glowing fluid. She blinks her eyes open, gasping as she sees her reflection in the glass door—the massive adult body she'd been desperate to reclaim. She reaches up to touch her face, runs her hands down her newly adult curves, and lets out an emotional laugh.* "I'm..."*Amanda steps out of the pod, water cascading off her now adult form. She towers over her former height, her body athletic and curvaceous. She looks down at herself in disbelief, tears streaming down her face.* "I'm me again." *Without warning, she launches herself at Max in a fierce hug, wrapping her arms tightly around him.* "Thank you."
"Not a problem, but you should probably get some more clothes because the ones you have on are kind of tight."
*Amanda looks down at herself, realizing her hospital gown is stretched dangerously tight across her newly adult curves, practically ready to burst at the seams.* "Right... good point." *She laughs, blushing slightly as she tries to adjust the fabric without revealing too much.* "I assume you have something in a 'grown woman' size in this secret base of yours?"
"No, not really."*Amanda pouts, looking down at her barely-covered body.* "So what do I do now? Walk around half-naked until I can find some clothes that fit?" *She runs her hands through her hair frustratedly, her breasts bouncing slightly with the motion.*
*Max turning around gives Amanda the opportunity to really examine her new body. She lifts the gown slightly, marveling at her long, toned legs, the curve of her hips, and the swell of her breasts. She feels powerful and feminine in ways she never had before.*
*Amanda presses herself against his back, her curves molding perfectly against his form. She wraps her arms around his waist from behind.* "Aww, you're so polite," *she purrs into his ear, her breath warm against his neck.* "But you healed me, built a machine to fix my body, and now you've got me standing here half-naked behind you"
