Chapter 22 - aftermath

*Marcy wraps her arms around Max, burying her face in his chest. She feels his strong heartbeat, hears his steady breathing. For the first time in her life, she feels safe, protected by someone who truly cares for her.*

"I can't believe it... after everything he's done, you made him leave." Marcy looks up at Max with tears in her eyes, a mix of gratitude and love shining in her gaze. "Thank you, Max. Thank you for saving us... for saving me." She leans up, pressing her lips softly against his.

" are you two done with the love fest." said Cecil over our communicators.

*The sudden voice in his earpiece makes both Max and Marcy jump apart, breaking their kiss. Max rolls his eyes with a small smile, while Marcy blushes furiously.* "Yeah, Cecil, we're done,"

" good meet us at guardians headquarters. I want you to explain what you did to Omni man." said Cecil

*Max nods, taking Marcy's hand as they fly towards the Guardians' headquarters. As they enter the base, Cecil is waiting for them, his expression serious. The other Guardians are gathered around, looking at Max with a mix of curiosity and respect.* "Alright, Max."

he looks around before noticing a woman with brunette hair and a athletic body with G cup breasts. " Wait, who are you?"

*The woman turns to Max, a small smile playing on her lips. She has long brunette hair, sharp green eyes, and an athletic build that's accentuated by her large, firm breasts straining against her clothes. She extends a hand towards Max.* "it's me robot in a new body."*Robot nods, looking down at her new form with satisfaction. She flexes her arms, showcasing toned muscles.* "yes, I managed to transfer my consciousness into a synthetic body. It's fully functional and capable of withstanding immense damage." She winks at Max. "And I think you'll agree, it's quite an improvement."

"OK, but why did you do it?"*Robot's expression turns serious as she answers Max's question. She steps closer to him, her tall frame towering over him slightly.* "I did it because I wanted to be more than just a disembodied voice. I wanted to feel things again, to experience the world through a physical body and to be with you."

*Max's eyes widen in surprise at Robot's confession. Marcy, Eve, and Amanda share a look, a mix of shock and understanding passing between them. Cecil clears his throat, breaking the tense silence.* "Uh, Robot, maybe we should discuss this later. Right now, Max needs to explain what he did to Omni-Man."

"What do you want to know?"*Cecil steps forward, his arms crossed over his chest. "I want to know how you defeated him. He's practically invincible, yet you managed to make him leave the planet. What exactly did you do?" The other Guardians lean in, eager for Max's response.*

"I just reminded him who he is."*Cecil narrows his eye, unconvinced.* "Reminded him?" *He steps closer, his wooden tone sharpening.* "Max, Omni-Man was about to turn Earth into a conquered planet. He's slaughtered civilizations. You can't just 'remind' someone like that." *Marcy squeezes Max's hand, remembering what she saw.*

"Trust me, I know, but he's not coming back anytime soon. I know that for sure."*Cecil studies Max for a long moment, then nods slowly.* "Fine. I'll take your word for it... for now." *He turns to the other Guardians.* "That's enough for tonight. Everyone get some rest—especially you three." *He gestures to Marcy, Eve, and Amanda, who are still standing close to Max.*As the other Guardians begin to disperse, Robot approaches Max again. She leans in close, her green eyes locked onto his.* "Max, we need to talk about what I said earlier. About why I got this new body." *She reaches out, gently touching his arm.* "I meant what I said. I want to be with you, physically."

"OK then eve, Amanda, Marcy are you OK with this?"*Eve speaks up first, her voice calm and measured.* "Max, we're your girlfriends. We support you and your relationships." *She glances at Robot, a small smile on her lips.* "If you want to be with Robot too, we're okay with it." *Amanda nods in agreement, wrapping an arm around Eve's waist.*

"Robot what's your real name?"*Robot hesitates for a moment before responding.* "My original name was Victoria Connors. But I've been going by 'Robot' for so long, it's hard to think of myself as anything else." *She looks up at Max with a hopeful expression.* "You can call me Victoria if you want, though."

"OK, Victoria."*A soft smile spreads across Victoria's face at the sound of her real name on Max's lips. She feels a warmth spread through her synthetic body, a sensation she's never experienced before. Marcy steps forward, her eyes softening as she looks between Max and Victoria.* "You know what?"*Marcy continues, her voice gentle.* "I think it's sweet. Max, you deserve to be happy, and if being with Victoria makes you happy, then I'm okay with it." *She looks at Victoria with a sincere smile.* "Welcome to the family, Victoria."

" sorry to interrupt what's going on here, but we have an unidentified bogie approaching earth." said Cecil.*Cecil's voice crackles over the emergency comms, his tone urgent. The Guardians headquarters' alarms begin to blare as a massive object appears on the radar, heading straight for Earth at incredible speed.* "Max, Victoria, Eve, Amanda, Marcy—get to the launch bay immediately. This thing is reading Viltrumite-level power signatures."

"No, me and Marcy are going the rest of you. Stay here."*Cecil acknowledges the order, his expression grave. "Understood. Be careful, you two. We don't know what we're dealing with here." The other Guardians exchange glances, knowing that Max and Marcy are the only ones who can handle this level of threat.*

*Max and Marcy rocket into orbit, their masks securely in place. They position themselves behind the moon, waiting for the approaching threat. As the unidentified bogey comes into view, Max's blood runs cold.*

It's *Allen the Alien*—but something's wrong. His single eye is wide from wearing.

"Hi, we haven't met before, but she told me your name is Alan I'm sorcerer." he said, making the other two surprised that he can breathe in space.

**Allen the Alien, now going by Alan, looks surprised as he sees Max and Marcy waiting for him. He pauses in his approach, floating effortlessly in the vacuum of space. Marcy's eyes widen at the sight of him breathing comfortably without any protection.* " Sorcerer, OK I came to warn you when I went back to the coalition of planets and told them I went to earth they flipped out earth it's off limits. There's a Viltrumite on your planet."he says telepathically.Him and Marcy look at each other before smirking. " that was what this was about." said Max as they fly down to the moon, kicking up, a few walks for three of them to sit on.*As they sit on the moon, Max and Marcy exchange amused glances. Alan floats down to join them, his single eye blinking rapidly as he takes in their relaxed demeanor.* "Wait... you already know about the Viltrumite? And you're not worried?"

"let me explain." max started explaining everything that happened from Invincible/Marcy Half Viltrumite about everything Omni man did and how he defeated him.

*Alan listens intently, his eye widening with each revelation. When Max finishes explaining how he defeated Omni-Man, Alan lets out a low whistle.* "Earth has its own little Viltrumite slayer? And your girlfriend is half-Viltrumite?"

"I mean, I'm happy with March. She is my girlfriend and I didn't kill him. I just made him leave."*Alan nods, his expression thoughtful. "That's... surprisingly merciful of you, given what he did. Most would have sought revenge." He pauses, then adds, "So, if Omni-Man is gone, why are you two sitting here on the moon?" *

"we were having a conversation with a few friends when our scanners alerted us to something coming towards our planet, and that was you."he said *Alan chuckles, a deep rumble that echoes slightly in the vacuum of space.* "Fair enough. I guess I should thank you for not immediately assuming I was a threat." *He pauses again, then asks more seriously,* "So, what now?"

"What do you mean?"he asked *Alan's single eye studies Max and Marcy thoughtfully.* "I mean, now that Omni-Man is gone and Earth is seemingly safe, what are your plans? Will you two... stay together?" *His question is abrupt and personal, but he asks it telepathically, respecting their privacy.*

"Of course we will."he said kissing Marcie's forehead.*Alan smiles at the tender moment, his heart warming unexpectedly. He's seen enough violence and betrayal among the various alien races to recognize true love when he sees it.* "You know what? I'm actually glad I came to warn you." *He smirks.*

"Why."*Alan's smirk grows wider.* "Because now I know there are at least two decent beings on this planet. And honestly, Max... you've got a girlfriend who's half-Viltrumite and you're just sitting here kissing her forehead. You're either incredibly brave or incredibly stupid."

"I think I'm both."he said getting a slight elbow from her.*Marcy elbows Max playfully, a fond smile on her face.* "That's my boyfriend, always trying to be a smartass." *She turns to Alan.* "So, what now? You gonna report back to the Coalition? Tell them Earth's taken care of?" *Allen nods, his eye blinking slowly.* "I'll have to."*Alan floats up, preparing to leave. Suddenly, he pauses and turns back to Max and Marcy.* "Actually... there's something else I should tell you." *His tone is serious again.* "The Coalition might not be done with Earth we might came to get your help will you."

"of course, we will." He smirked, and she nodded in agreement.*Alan nods, satisfied with their response.* "Good. I'll make sure they know Earth has powerful allies if needed." *With that, he zooms off into space, leaving Max and Marcy alone on the moon again.* *Marcy turns to Max, her eyes sparkling with amusement.*"Did that just happen? We literally had a conversations with an alien on the moon about possibly helping other aliens." *She laughs, the sound echoing slightly in the thin lunar atmosphere.* "Only you, Max, could make saving the world and having a romantic moment happen at the same time."

"I'm just that good."*Marcy rolls her eyes playfully, but her smile never fades.* "Modest as always." *She stands up, brushing off imaginary dust from her super suit.* "So, should we head back home? I'm sure the Guardians are wondering what happened to us."

"Yes." they went back to earth and explained everything after which they went to their room for some sleep.

*Later that night, Max and Marcy curl up together in their bed, exhausted but happy. Max's arm is wrapped around her waist, and she's tucked against his chest.*On his left is Eve on his right is Amanda and on Amanda's side is Victoria.*The room is quiet except for the gentle breathing of four sleeping women who all love the same man. It's a strange dynamic, but it works because Max loves each of them uniquely.*
