Pour… pour…
"Your coffee, young miss."
"Oh, thank you," she replied.
"Anything for you too?" the waiter asked politely.
"Oh, no thanks," the figure replied politely.
As the waiter walked into the stands, The young miss sipped her coffee slowly.
She was stunning, with amber eyes and black silky hair that fell to her shoulders, she captivated everyone in the shop—whether male, female, or children.
"You are drawing attention," the figure said calmly.
"It's not my fault they all fell head over heels for me, Sira."
Sira scoffed
"Elia, you know that being the Apostle of Lust would cause this."
"That's why they'll all forget after we leave."
Elia sipped her coffee again.
Ba-dum
"Are you still feeling it?" Sira asked
"Yeah"
"To think four Apostles have risen., we are almost complete"
"Does it really matter?" Elia asked
"Of course, without them we can't save this broken world from the hands of the demon king"
"If they are against us, we will have to kill them, unfortunately."
"------"
"You know, I am going to the Academy soon" Elia said
"Yeah, what would happen if we meet then?" Elia asked
Sira kept quiet for a few minutes before talking
"If that happens.... Engage them, be their friends, make those who can fall in love with you, fall, observe them closely"
"If they are against us, we will have to kill them, unfortunately."
Hearing Sira words of advice, Elia just laughed
"What would you do during that time?"
"I will reconcile with the other seraphs"
Elia dropped the coffee down
"You done?"
"Yeah"
Elia and Sira walked out of the café.
"Um, you remember the people who sat here?" the waiter asked
Everyone shrugged hearing the waiter's statement.
It was simple—they had all forgotten her.
"Yuta, how do you think we would look in the Academy uniform?" Rin asked looking at the Luminary Academy's brochure
"------"
"Would it kill you to at least reply?" Rin asked, his tone laced with a hint of anger
"I rather not get involved since your mother made it exactly obvious, I had to go"
"Hey, can you guys come, we need to have a conversation"
Rin and Yuta looked at each other before abandoning what they were doing
As Rin and Yuta walked towards the dining table, only to find Kuro and Luna seated in a tense atmosphere.
The atmosphere was so tense that it made everyone in the house- Yuta, Rin and Tino's hair stood on end.
If Kuro and Luna were enemies of both Rin and Yuta, they would have equally moved with to kill but they were not
Tino, who was in the kitchen, slammed her fist on the table with anger
"Can you guys tone down the killing intent!"
Kuro and Luna both snapped out of it before apologizing frantically
"Jesus, trying to give this woman a heart attack"
"We are sorry" Kuro and Luna said in unison
Rin and Yuta both pulled up a chair to sit down, each beside their seraphs respectively
"What are we eating tonight mom?" Rin asked in curiosity
"Your favorite"
"Nice"
As Rin turned, Yuta asked calmly "What seems to be the issue?"
Luna massaged her brows, sighing in frustration.
"Some of the other Apostles know about you guys." Kuro said in arrogance
"What do you mean?" Rin asked
"They don't know your identities but when two apostles come in contact, it sends a wave of energy around the world, other Apostles pick up those waves and become aware of their existence."
"What makes it more irritating is that we have tried suppressing that wave but ultimately failed" Kuro said tightening his fist
"Is that a bad thing?" Yuta asked
"Of course," Luna responded instead of Kuro
"Assuming the apostles on the same page, they tend to kill those Apostles to either take their blessings or allow the gods to choose someone else."
"Blessings?"
"Yeah" Kuro said
"What are they?"
"They are intricately inscribed on the souls of Apostles; it does not usually awaken except in desperate situations; some are used on the user while some on others"
"Regardless, they are trump card skills"
Rin and Yuta both looked at each other before sighing
"If I may ask, how many gods are there?" Rin asked
'It's true. I never really asked Luna- guess it was not that important'
"There are eight gods: the god of time, the god of lust, the god of souls, the god of war, the god of light, the god of judgment, the god of pestilence and lastly the god of darkness"
"Ugh"
All eyes on the table turned to look at Yuta who clutched his head slightly
"Yuta, what is wrong?"
"Nothing, just a little headache" Yuta said shrugging off the pain
"….." Luna kept quiet just looking on
'Why does hearing the god of darkness cause so much pain'
"So, what happens now?" Yuta asked despite being in slight pain
"So, this is the plan" Kuro responded with a grin as they all looked
