Seth's POV
Ever since rehearsals ended, my mind hadn't rested for a single second. Not after what I saw backstage. Not after Casey. Not after those men. Something was wrong. Terribly wrong. Every instinct inside me screamed that Chloe was at the center of it all.
The image replayed endlessly in my head as the buses pulled into the hotel driveway. I could see Casey standing before those dangerous-looking men, fear in her eyes. The threatening tone in their voices. The mention of debts. The pressure. The boss on the phone. And worst of all—the way they talked about Chloeoe.
The redhead. The star of the show. "We don't want her hands anywhere near that money." That line hadn't left my mind since.
Who were those people? What exactly did they want with her? And why the hell was Casey involved with them? The questions kept multiplying, and every answer somehow felt worse than the last.
