Zoe's POV
The suite finally fell silent the moment Seth left. The soft click of the door closing behind him echoed through the room, followed by a silence so heavy it almost hurt my ears.
I stood there for a few seconds, completely still, frozen in place. The hotel suite was beautiful in a way that felt surreal. Warm golden lights glowed beneath elegant wall panels, and the cream-colored couches looked far too expensive to touch. Floor-to-ceiling windows revealed London glittering beneath the night sky like a kingdom of diamonds.
Luxury. Perfection. A dream.
Yet, somehow, I had never felt more miserable in my life. My fingers tightened around the keycard Seth had handed me before leaving.
"Please make sure you don't open this door for anyone except Ashley, Guz, or Brandon," he had said.
