I was in the middle of the street, using my phone. It was very busy, and as I scrolled through my phone, I could hear the honking of cars.
Suddenly, the street sounds stopped and I bumped into a tree. I fell to the ground at the same time as my phone. My hands felt dry grass on the earth and I found myself surrounded by dry trees and a strange stench of rotting corpses of whatever it was.
"How did I end up here?"
I stood up and picked my phone up from the ground, looked around, and covered my nose. I walked through this putrid forest and saw the dead bodies of several animals being slowly devoured by insects, and I just tried to ignore it.
I saw the exit of the forest and walked more quickly, and I spotted a city in ruins. The buildings were destroyed, nature was taking over the city, and there was no sign of a living soul besides me.
Among the destroyed cars, stores, and abandoned places, I didn't find anyone, not even an animal.
The ground began to shake, I turned back and saw a black creature with blue veins on its chest. I felt a chill down my spine and started to sweat. I ran as fast as I could and the monster tried to keep up with me. I just wanted to escape, but it wouldn't leave me alone.
In front of me, I saw an open manhole that led to the sewers. I quickly went in and went down the stairs, where I stopped in the city's sewers.
I guess I haven't introduced myself, my name is Woojin-hyuk (우진혁), I'm an unemployed autistic person who can only stay alive with government assistance.
I'm a screen addict, so I can't stay without my devices for even a second, and speaking of which, I turned on my phone and saw that there was no signal. The phone also didn't tell the time, what a good thing...
I only wear black and cover my entire body with clothes of that color, there's not much to describe. I only know how to stay inside my room all day, without seeing the sunlight. Although now my clothes have gotten really sweaty and smelly, I don't know where I can wash them now.
I continued to walk through the sewers and found nothing, just me and the loneliness of this strange world.
"How did I end up in this new world? It was so strange, so unexpected. Anyway, I need to know how to get back home."
