The auditorium was filled with hundreds of students, most of them the high schoolers who had been dragged out of their morning classes because of the sudden compulsory assembly that Principal Astor had announced earlier that morning. The entire hall buzzed with noise from different conversations happening all at once. Some students were whispering excitedly about what the announcement could possibly be about, while others looked half asleep and annoyed that they had been forced to gather there so early in the morning.
The atmosphere felt crowded, loud, and restless, especially with so many students squeezed together inside one massive space.
As soon as Irina, Penelope, and Roxana entered the auditorium together, the energy around them immediately shifted.
