Third-person POV
After what felt like forever of waiting, Principal Astor would finally arrive at the auditorium, and the moment she walked in through the side entrance, the entire hall would immediately fall silent. The noisy whispering, complaints, and conversations that had been filling the auditorium seconds ago would disappear almost instantly like someone had pressed a mute button on hundreds of students at once.
Everyone in Elysium knew that Astor hated interruptions whenever she was about to make an announcement, and nobody was foolish enough to test her patience unnecessarily. Even the students at the back of the hall who usually never paid attention during assemblies quickly straightened themselves and kept quiet.
