Taro's POV
Tonight's dinner is pizza, some salad, and drinks back in Cebu City. We had been in exploration mode on Mactan Island all day. To be honest, the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) was modern and very cool. The bridge design for the complicated coastal road system along Cebu City's coast was just nice for a country like this. The island of Mactan was unique; the city on the strait from Cebu City was named after Lapu-Lapu, and the scenery on the island was just 10/10 in my view.
After dinner, back in the comfort of our hotel rooms, we packed for tomorrow's day trip to Tagbilaran, Bohol by plane.
Mariya-san had managed to book a flight on Iloilo Air (again) at a cheap price.
Our flight time was at 8 a.m., so we had to wake up early.
The next morning, at 6 a.m., we checked out of the hotel and booked 2 SUVs through the Tiger Express App for the trip to the airport on Mactan Island. I practically said goodbye to Cebu as we entered the airport terminal. We had a simple breakfast at one of the terminal's restaurants. We had pastries in the form of pandesal, some croissants, and strangely, some malunggay pandesal.
Now by 8:00 a.m., we boarded our flight, and it took off from the airport and headed southwest to Bohol, another island province.
I was excited about the Chocolate Hills and tarsiers…
