Alwin learned from his elders that the Gods did not want this world to end yet, nor did they want their creations to cease existing. It was exactly why the long-lived races and humans were dwelling in separate locations now.

It took me and His Majesty months to return here after heading there because the sensation of time was so warped there because of the Primordial Dragon of Darkness' influence. If he wielded it against us, the civilization of humans as we know it may have already changed by the time a serious battle with him was over."
