Chapter 103: Involving the Shadow Continent
Alwin watched as Blanca gulped nervously as it dawned on her how heavy the secret she had happened upon was.
"Then… P-please punish me accordingly for disobeying orders, discovering something I shouldn't have, causing problems, and… um, I'm not sure I could ever be punished enough for something so major, but please punish me as you see fit," Blanca pled to ease her guilt and make amends.
"Punish you? I'm not sure what would be appropriate for the weight of what you've done. I think you still don't understand how bad things could have gotten," Alwin sighed dramatically.
He wanted her to understand that simply asking for punishment was not enough to make amends for what could have happened.
"Then, please tell me, what could have happened if His Majesty learned about the extent of the truth you and Her Majesty knew about," Blanca pleaded.
"Brace yourself then," Alwin smiled mischievously.
