León was walking through the school courtyard after a long day of classes and physical education.

León couldn't help but laugh at that; he felt like the luckiest man in the world. Then he brought his arm back over her shoulder, pulling her closer to him, making her cling to his chest.
Then he turned his attention to his friend, who could only shake his head while sighing at his overly "loving" behavior.
"Don't worry, man, you'll find the right one soon," he said when he saw him looking down.
Mateo snorted in response before placing both hands behind his neck, staring up at the clear sky.
"After what happened with Valeria… I don't feel like dealing with women anymore, you know?"
"I'm honestly shocked by what Valeria did to you, Mateo…" Sofía replied, indignant and disappointed by her former best friend's infidelity.
Mateo just shook his head, brushing the matter off.
"Let's go—"
León was about to speak, but suddenly he found himself in a completely different place.
There were no structures or people, literally nothing but a hazy fog that made it impossible to see anything.
"...W-What?"
He looked around frantically, already starting to panic at what was happening.
"Sofía? Mateo?" he shouted, hoping they could hear him.
But then, a strong gust of wind forced him to cover his eyes, trying to keep dirt from getting into them.
When he looked forward again, what he saw left him completely stunned.
The place was entirely rocky, with jagged stones rising into the air and several structures in the distance.
"W-Where the hell am I?"
Quickly, several assumptions that he had been transported to a new fantasy world flooded his mind, a result of reading so many novels of that genre.
"Calm down!" he shouted at himself, quickly searching for his phone, but as expected, there was no signal.
"Shit…"
He looked in every direction without knowing where to go, and he doubted there was anyone else in this place.
CRASH!
A loud bang echoed behind him, kicking up a small gust of dust and stones.
When he slowly turned around, León could swear he had five heart attacks in a row.
A fucking monster, or whatever that thing was, had appeared beside him, clearly focused on him.
"UWAAAA!" he screamed at the top of his lungs, falling to the ground as he tried to get away from that thing.
It began to move toward him at an absurd speed, and not just one, but several of those same things started emerging from the same hole as the first.
All with the sole objective of eating him.
'Shit. Shit. Shit.'
This was too much. He was tired from physics class, and his body was already practically programmed to collapse next to Sofía as soon as he got to his apartment.
Not to run from things that God knows what they are.
He didn't know how long he had been running, but those things seemed to be playing with him, not increasing their speed to catch him. When he glanced back over his shoulder, he tripped over a rock on the ground, rolling several meters.
"Tsk… shit—" he turned his attention back to the beasts, and to his horror, they were already just a few meters away, ready to tear him apart.
Instinctively, he shut his eyes tightly while raising his arms to protect himself, bracing for the worst.
'Shit… I should've had more sex with Sofía…' the only thing he regretted not having taken full advantage of.
Sure, in a situation like this, he was grateful for having had the best sex sessions with her, but it wasn't enough… it wasn't.

"Tch. This one's too weak," the girl spat, jumping off the beast she was riding, landing beside him and cutting that thing down in a single swing of her sword.
"What's a man doing in 'The Veil'?" the girl said, glancing at him sideways. "Are you okay?" she asked, looking him up and down.
"Y-Yeah…"
"Good."
She positioned herself in front of him, her sword completely covered in blood, as if protecting him from all the dangers of that place.
"I'm the leader of the Fifth Campaign of the Order of Guardians. Myra Drevast," she introduced herself without looking at him.
Then she turned just enough for him to see her face clearly… she was beautiful…
He knew he had a girlfriend, but he couldn't help it, he was a man. And that woman was insanely sexy, with long white hair and red eyes that stared into his.
She had a smile on her face while the blood of those beasts stained her delicate white skin.
He couldn't help but blush slightly at that.
