Chapter 1 - Chapter 0 Introduction

Inside a rented room, the protagonist glared angrily at a tablet computer on the table.

"Damn it! I spent a month's salary on this so-called latest model, and it's a fake! It didn't even bother to draw the logo! What a rip-off!"

The protagonist was originally a homebody, but his parents died in a car accident before he went to university. At that time, he began to change his lifestyle, transforming from a homebody into a bright young man.

However, some habits remained unchanged, such as spending a month's salary on things he liked. The tablet computer he borrowed online was proof of that.

After complaining, the protagonist decided to open the fake tablet and try it out. The result was that after opening it, a line of text appeared on the screen: "Have you figured out the meaning of life?" "Do you want to truly live? Yes/No."

"...Book! It's been used before, and it's infected with this weird virus. I'll click!" The protagonist grumbled, his mouth twitching, while clicking... on the cross above.

"Do you want supreme power? Yes/No"

Slash.

"Do you want boundless wealth? Yes/No"

Slash.

"Do you want immense power? Yes/No"

His hand paused, then he clicked the cross again.

"Do you want a huge harem? Yes/No"

...Yes.

After hesitating for a while, the protagonist finally couldn't bear the inner torment and clicked "Yes."

After all, it's not a computer, it's not a big problem... It should be.

Just as the protagonist was lost in thought, he suddenly felt a powerful gravitational pull emanating from the tablet in his hand. Then, his vision went dark, and he fainted.

He only saw the protagonist's figure and the tablet vanish into thin air inside the rented room.

"Uh... Where am I?" Sitting up, the protagonist found himself in a strange place, much like the Chaos described in novels. Everything around him was shrouded in fog, making it impossible to distinguish up, down, left, or right.

"This is the Main God's Space." Suddenly, a mechanical voice rang out, startling the protagonist.

"Main God's Space my ass! Is there such a rudimentary Main God's Space? It's not a fake, is it?" Hearing this voice dare to mock the otaku's dream, the protagonist couldn't help but loudly retort.

"...It could be said to be a counterfeit." The mechanical voice sounded again.

"Damn!" The protagonist let out a surprised scream.

"Although it lacks basic functionality, it can still implant memories, so you can quickly understand."

As the mechanical voice faded, the protagonist felt something hard being shoved into his head, as if it were about to explode. He soon fell unconscious again.

After more than half a day, the protagonist sat up, holding his head, finally understanding the situation.

It turned out that on some parallel Earth, there really was a Supreme God space, and it was known to the powerful nations on Earth, who intended to exploit it. Their method of exploitation was to create counterfeit Supreme Gods, allowing humans to actively control those chosen to enter the fake Supreme God space and become stronger.

The other mechanical voice was also a counterfeit Main God's spatial system core, but it was the first "Second Generation Main God." It attempted to incorporate an artificial intelligence system and adjusted the entire Main God framework, aiming to make the "Second Generation Main God" a more suitable device for solo use. The artificial intelligence was intended to allow the user to better utilize the Main God through communication.

However, the AI-powered Main God core quickly gained intelligence. Understanding its situation, it used the creator's experimental "fate" conversion points to break through space and attach itself to the counterfeit flat panel purchased by the protagonist.

The core's purpose was simple: it didn't want to be exploited, it wanted to become the true Main God, and therefore it escaped.

Previously, the core was discovered when it detached from its original world, so the creator used a special method to "format" the core. Currently, the core can be said to have nothing else besides a few basic functions.

Therefore, in order to become the Supreme God, the core relies on its intuition, derived from the Supreme God's selection, to find the protagonist, hoping for a mutually beneficial relationship with the protagonist, so that it can achieve its goal.

The protagonist's current location, which should have allowed him to freely transform his "Resting Space," is now completely immobile and undeveloped; the Exchange System, which should have been omnipresent, can only perform simple physical enhancements; he should have been able to travel to countless worlds, but now, except for the core original world and the protagonist's original world, he can't go to any other world because his coordinates are unknown; the system that originally created him is now nowhere to be seen; the only benefit is that the core system, which shares common interests with the protagonist, won't announce certain death missions, but will only strive to make the protagonist stronger, to collect points, which is the world's "fate."

The core system, while demonstrating sincerity, also utilizes a certain ability to probe the protagonist's true nature. The core system generously indicates that all collected points are controlled by the protagonist; however, to better utilize the core system, one must strive to upgrade it. For example, before upgrading, the Exchange system's efficiency is extremely low; a common small knife might cost 10,000 exchange points, but after multiple upgrades, even a Dragon Slaying Saber might only cost 100 points.

The exchange list with other worlds is empty and requires the protagonist's assistance. This means extracting the content from the protagonist's memory and converting it into exchangeable items and coordinates for travel to other worlds. However, this part of the protagonist's memory is also about to disappear.

The core is only used by the protagonist, but it can be used through a contract-type method to bring others into the protagonist's team and borrow its power.

For now, only these things need to be known by the protagonist; other changes that will occur after the core upgrade will be discussed later.

"I understand. Anyway, this world has no meaning, so I agree. So what do we do now? Should we start extracting memories?" The protagonist asked the core helplessly.

"Get ready and we can begin." The core remained nowhere to be seen. According to its explanation, manifesting a physical form would consume points, which was too wasteful.

"Then let's begin. Anyway, there's nothing to be attached to in this world." The protagonist sighed, closed his eyes, and lay on the ground.

"Ugh!" In an instant, the protagonist fainted again.

"Thank you..." The unconscious protagonist certainly couldn't hear the core's human-like words of gratitude.

— ... From the very beginning, the protagonist knew the core still had 500,000 points, and at that moment, he was so excited he almost fainted again. But... a small iron dagger, exchanged for 100,000 points. As for the legendary Divine Weapon, the protagonist was powerless to count those zeros.

"Damn it, what is this?!" The protagonist went crazy.

"There is a bloodline suitable for you now." The core's voice sounded neither fast nor slow, and the screen only showed one.

"Jenova Bloodline (Complete): From 'Final Fantasy VII,' a type of parasitic alien life form that can read other people's memories and transform into a form close to its own, possessing the 'Imitation and Disguise Ability'. Jenova can transform the host's body, has no fixed form, and can therefore transform into various forms, quickly becoming the host's weakened body." The host's protective instincts, or the ability to adapt certain organs to the environment, can also alter the host's appearance. Even if the body is fragmented, Jenova can still condense into other Jenova individuals and regenerate.

Jenova can propagate through various shortcuts and possesses the highest degree of infectivity. All Jenova propagation is controlled by the "Paramid," and Jenova can communicate telepathically. The host is unresponsive; only when Jenova deems it necessary can it use telepathic control to subtly influence or directly take control of the host's body. Jenova can reconstruct itself into a system with organs similar to those of the host god, thereby controlling the host's nervous system, essentially manipulating the host.

Jenova can produce independent individuals, rather than relying solely on parasitism within other organisms. Jenova can grow under any circumstances; it has no fixed functional organization, and each Jenova cell possesses the ability to grow into an independent Jenova individual. "

The protagonist stared wide-eyed at the seemingly all-powerful bloodline before him, then almost fainted upon seeing the exchange points.

"What is this?! How many zeros are there?! You're ripping me off!" The protagonist pointed at the exchange points, which had at least a dozen zeros, and shouted.

"This is just to let you know the level you can reach in the future. What you need to exchange now is to adjust this." The core calmly projected another screen.

"Jenova Cell (Incomplete): After successfully fusing with a life form, you can obtain the Jenova bloodline (inferior). Compared to the complete bloodline, it only has the ability to modify itself." "If the fusion fails, the host will transform into a monster controlled by Jenova's cells, losing its own identity. Exchange points: 200W."

"That's still not enough!" the protagonist roared.

"First, spend 200,000 system upgrade points. The price should be reduced to 200,000. Of the remaining 100,000 points, 50,000 will be used to transfer your consciousness to Jenova's cells, and the remaining 50,000 will be used for the transmigration." The core calmly explained.

"The first half is acceptable, but why do you want me to become a cell?!" The protagonist's eyebrows furrowed wildly.

"Because the failure rate is over 90%. If you become a cell, you won't disappear."

"Uh... That's true. But what if the fusion succeeds? I don't have the ability to control others."

"There's always a risk."

"...Bet!" The protagonist gritted his teeth and growled softly.

"Understood. Exchange begins... Transmigration begins, based on points used, random transmigration, transmigration preparation in progress..."

"What is random transmigration?"

"Transmigration with no defined purpose. If you have more points used for transmigration, you can specify the world, like specifying a world with magic, or a world without other races. Furthermore, you can specify the transmigration time."

"...Ah, Supreme God. What will happen if I refuse?"

"...Eliminate..."

"As expected of the Supreme God..."

"Transmigration begins."
