The Black SUV stops in front of the group.
For a few second, nobody moved.
Both Hans and Mark kept there heads down.
Then the driver gets out of the SUV.
A second man stepped outside from the other side, and looked at the crowd.
Hmm hmm he cleared his throat... and shouted.
"Who here is looking for work?".
The people looked at each other and ignored him.
The man continued
"Food, a place to stay, and good money. All you have to do is work."
After hearing that people started to raise there hands.
Mark glanced at Hans.
Hans subtly shook his head, reminding him to stay quiet.
Then the man began to look through the crowd, looking at each person carefully.
When he reached Hans, he stoped.
"You, What is your name?"
Hans paused for a moment.
"Kane."
The man kept starring.
"Kane, What?"
Hans looked down.
"Just Kane."
"So you are an orphan, huh?, that's good, you go seat in the car.
Hans quietly followed the order.
Then the man went to Mark who was standing beside him.
"You, What is your name?"
Mark who was already brusting with anger get even more agitated.
As Mark was about to answer, Hans suddenly called out from inside the SUV.
"Milo, that's his name."
The man turned towards Hans.
"Why are you answering for him?"
Hans kept his head down.
"Because he can't speak."
"What, he can't speak?."
Hans looked at Mark and signaled him to calm down.
"So are you his family or something?."
"No he is my friend, he is really good at doing any work. Can you take him as well?"
"Ok, well if he can't speak that good for us as well."
The man pointed his finger at Mark.
"You get in the car."
Mark stared at him for a moment before slowly getting inside.
The man continued selecting people from the crowd.
After choosing another ten or twelve people, the driver finally shouted from behind him.
"Hey that enough we have got the number we wanted let's go."
"Ahh, full already sorry guys that it for today's quota If need be I will see again."
The selected people climbed into the SUV.
The doors closed.
The engine started.
And the SUV start to get away from the crowd.
After getting in the SUV all the people in the SUV where blindfolded.
-----
After sometime, the SUV started to slow down.
Hans could feel that it was about time they stopped.
As the SUV stopped the doors opened.
A man outside shouted.
"You can remove your blindfolds."
As everyone began removing their folds.
Hans looked around the place.
His expression immediately changed.
He taps Mark on his back.
Mark looked at him.
Hans leaned closer and whispered,
"It the same warehouse."
One of the men shouted.
"Ok people let's go inside and meet the boss."
The group slowly began moving toward the warehouse.
Hans and Mark lowered there head and followed them.
As they went inside, they see a figure standing in the 1st floor of the warehouse.
Both Hans and Mark immediately recognises the figure as they already knew about the who was running this place.
But what caught them completely off guard was who was standing beside him.
Another man.
Mark looks at Hans, wisppering.
"Who is that guy besides Mason?"
Hans wisppers.
"I don't know, but something about him doesn't feel right."
Before Mark could respond, Mason stepped toward the unfamiliar man and whispered something into his ear.
The man listened carefully and gave a small nod.
Mason then walked toward the group.
"Hello, everyone. First of all, I'd like to congratulate you on getting the job."
The group remained quiet, listening to him.
"Now that you're here, I'd like to explain what you'll be doing."
Mason paused for a moment.
"The job you'll be doing here is simple. You'll be helping us make medicine."
A man from the group raised his hand.
"Medicine? And how are we supposed to make it if we don't know anything about medicine?"
A few others murmured in agreement.
Mason smiled.
"Don't worry. You won't need any experience. We'll teach you everything you need to know."
Hans and Mark exchanged a quick glance.
They both knew exactly what Mason was calling "medicine."
And now they had to make sure nobody discovered who they really were.
Mason continued explaining the basic tasks they would be expected to perform.
Mark and Hans noticed something about the man.
It was how all the men who were part of the Mason's group were treating the man.
And judging by the way everyone in the warehouse was treating him, Hans and Mark had a feeling that this man wasn't just another member of the operation.
After Mason finished his explanation. He ordered some men to take the people to production hall and teach everything he has mentioned.
As the men were taking all the people to the production hall Hans heard Mason.
"How was that, Laurence?"
Hans looked back.
