Her words shocked me a little, but I still replied, "I promise… okay, I promise. But I can't kill you. I just can't."
She gently placed her hand on my cheek and said, "You have to do it. Please… grow from this and learn to create a family again. Trust people. Don't think you are cursed."
My hand trembled, and tears continued to fall slowly from my eyes. I raised my shaking right hand and pointed my finger toward her. Looking into her eyes, I said, "Please… I can't."
She was already close to turning into a zombie, but still replied weakly, "Yes… you can. Just do it. I can't hold on much longer. Please… do it for me."
She then looked at Emma and said, "Emma, please take care of him. Don't let him fall into the darkness again."
Emma didn't say anything just nodded tears running down from her eyes and with others.
I held her tightly, my body shaking as I cried uncontrollably. My hand moved before I could stop it, and in that instant, everything changed.
She went still in my arms.
My quiet sobs turned into a loud, heartbroken scream. "Ahhhhhh!"
Everyone watching began to cry, except Wesker, who observed everything with quiet interest. Soon, they noticed the temperature around me rising.
My body began to partially melt, and magma started pouring out of me. The ground beneath us softened and melted as heat spread across the area.
Realizing what was happening, everyone quickly distanced themselves from me. Even Wesker stepped back. I understood then that my rage could harm others.
Seeing that I might hurt others, I forced myself to control my emotions and stood up. I picked up Julia's lifeless body in my arms in a bridal carry and walked toward our senior female English teacher, gently handing her over and spoke, "I'm going to finish this. Please take care of her. I'll come back soon—don't worry."
Then I turned to Wesker and asked, "Wesker, can you keep everyone here safe ?"
He simply nodded in silence. I didn't need any further response.
I raised my gaze to the ceiling, thrust my hands upward, and yelled, "Great Eruption!"
A colossal magma hand burst forth, consuming the ceiling and surging upward through every floor. It tore through the building level by level, rising until it reached the rooftop—where the mad scientist was trying to escape via helicopter.
Seeing the ceiling of the building punctured by my magma fist, he panicked and yelled, "No! This shouldn't have happened! I was supposed to be the winner, not you! I will escape from here and return with even more destruction for you."
The helicopter was already halfway in the air. Before he could rejoice, I used Shave and Moonwalk continuously and reached the rooftop, appearing right in front of him.
Seeing me suddenly appear, he yelled, "No! How could you have gotten here so fast?"
Hearing his voice, I locked my eyes on him. Rage surged through me, burning my gaze red like magma. My right hand fully transformed into molten fire as I pulled it back.
"Do you think you can escape so easily after all this?" I roared. "Let me show you hell… Hellhound!"
Without hesitation, I threw my magma-covered hand straight at his right shoulder, blasting through and melting it away. I held back—I didn't want to end him in one strike.
He fell from the helicopter while wailing and crying. I didn't let him hit the ground—I caught him and used Shave and Moonwalk to drag him back to where Julia and the others were.
Seeing my return, the kids and everyone around stopped crying. I didn't waste time—I grabbed the mad scientist by his leg and dragged him before throwing him near Julia's body.
As soon as the mad scientist appeared, sorrow in everyone's eyes turned into pure rage. They stared at him, burning with anger.
I didn't waste a second—I grabbed him by the head and drove him into the ground repeatedly. Then I lifted him with one hand and roared, "This is what you deserve… this is what you're worthy of!"
Then I picked him up like a toy and threw him to the other side.
He started coughing, holding his injured shoulder with one hand as he slowly forced himself back onto his feet. "I might die today… but I won't fall alone. I've already sent everything about you to Umbrella and other organizations including the government. Soon, they'll all come after you to study you…" he coughed again and laughed. "Hahaha…"
His laughter reignited my rage. Without hesitation, I used Shave and appeared right in front of him, and lifted my right hand, which turned into magma, forming a clenched fist. I threw it toward the right side of his face and yelled, "Hell Hound!"
This caught him off guard, but before he could react, my magma-covered fist struck him, blowing away almost half of the right side of his face.
It tore through him, blowing away half of his face, and he fell to the ground, motionless.
I knew he wasn't completely dead… but I wouldn't let it end quickly. He would die slowly… and painfully.
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. Tears formed again, but before I could pull myself out of it…
Suddenly, red alarms appeared again. This time a message blared from the speakes: "Self-destruction manual has been activated. Activation time: 10 minutes. Please evacuate immediately."
The voice immediately drew everyone's attention, without hesitation I turned to everyone and said, "Run! I'll clear the way."
I rushed toward the closed doors and unleashed Great Eruption, blowing them apart and carving a hole through for everyone to escape.
Seeing this, everyone stiffened, but then they remembered the self-destruction.
I looked at them and said, "We don't have time for this. Escape first—let the kids go first with wesker guarding them, then the adults."
Everyone nodded and immediately followed the plan. I remained at the rear, while Wesker led from the front under my watch, ensuring everything stayed under control.
Wesker wanted to stop and say something, but I looked at him and said, "Run. Don't waste time."
I didn't want to explain anything further. My mental state wasn't good either—probably the most disturbed among everyone present there.
My legs and eyes were shaking. Memories of Julia kept flashing before me again and again, but I didn't stop. I had to save everyone first.
After running for a few minutes and escaping the building, we heard a loud boom. Looking back, we saw the entire structure engulfed in flames, smoke rising from it.
I turned to Wesker and asked, "Did you bring any ship or boat or something?"
He looked at me and replied, "I brought a boat, but I don't think it can carry everyone."
I thought for a few minutes, then replied, "Take the children along with a caretaker first. After you reach there, call for rescuers. I will move on my own."
After saying this, I picked up Julia's body again in a bridal carry. Using Shave and Moonwalk continuously, I moved through the air.
From a distance, Wesker watched my back silently. He took out his phone, sent a message to someone without letting anyone notice, after sending the message he looked at everyone present and said, "Let's go. Didn't you hear him?"
As for me I kept using Shave and Moonwalk continuously for hours in order to reach home. Emma stayed back on the island to look after the kids. She wanted to come too, but she knew they needed her most—and that I needed to be alone for a while.
After using Shave and Moonwalk continuously for hours, I finally reached our home. But due to exhaustion, my legs gave out and I bent on my knees, still holding Julia in my arms. My silent sobs slowly turned into cries again.
The caretakers of the villa, seeing me arrive while carrying Julia's lifeless body, immediately ran toward us.
Soon, everyone began to cry, including the caretakers and the maids of the villa. Julia was like a little sister to them, always caring for everyone.
Time passed. After crying for a few hours, I finally stood up. My stamina had recovered slightly. I held Julia in my arms and looked at a caretaker.
"Prepare a grand funeral for her. Call everyone we know, including everyone from the orphanage who may have arrived by now. Also, make sure no one disturbs me… I want to be left alone for some time."
I reached my room, locked the door from the inside, and placed Julia on the bed. Then I knelt beside her, holding her hand as I started crying again.
Night fell, but I never let go of her hand. I stayed there, crying through the entire night.
Suddenly, before sunrise, something came to my mind. I stood up and pulled a pendrive out of my pocket.
