Chapter 1 - BEGINNING...

I don't know who he was.

Or maybe…

I knew him too well.

People say dead men disappear.

That once the heartbeat stops, everything ends.

But I have felt them.

Their presence.

Their silence.

Their eyes watching from places where nobody should exist.

Even now, I still don't know whether all of this is real…

or if my mind has been playing games with me from the beginning.

You must be thinking I'm insane.

Maybe I am.

But before you judge me, understand something first—

I hate horror stories.

I always laughed at people who talked about ghosts, demons, spirits, or supernatural powers. I believed everything had logic. Everything had science.

Until strange things started happening around me.

Not movie-type horror.

Not shadows jumping out of walls.

It was worse.

Small things.

Tiny sounds in empty rooms.

A strange heaviness in the air.

The feeling that someone was standing right behind me when nobody was there.

And the most terrifying part?

Sometimes… those feelings knew things about me that nobody else could know.

At first, I ignored it.

I thought stress was affecting my brain. Maybe loneliness. Maybe frustration. Maybe I was just overthinking like everyone else in this generation.

But then the nights became stranger.

One night, around 2 AM, I heard a sound from the other room.

Not loud.

Just enough to wake me.

At first I ignored it. But the sound came again.

Slowly.

Dragging.

Like someone walking without wanting to be heard.

My body froze.

Every logical thought inside my head kept saying:

"Go check."

But something deeper inside me whispered:

"Don't."

I sat there in silence, staring at the darkness.

And then—

I felt it.

Not fear.

Presence.

Someone was there.

Watching.

Breathing.

Waiting.

The room suddenly felt heavy, like the air itself had become alive. My chest tightened. My thoughts became unstable. Memories I had forgotten started flashing in my head for no reason.

That night changed everything.

Because after that…

I started noticing patterns.

People connected to death behaved differently around me.

Places carried emotions.

Sometimes when I touched old objects, I saw flashes of things I shouldn't know.

Fragments.

Voices.

Moments.

Past.

Present.

Future.

As if reality itself was cracked.

And hidden beneath it… was another world nobody could see.

A world full of secrets.

A world that had always existed beside ours.

I tried convincing myself it was all psychological.

But deep inside, I knew one thing:

Something had chosen me.

And whatever it was…

it wasn't going to let me go.

This is not just a horror story.

This is a story about hidden truths.

About reality breaking apart.

About memories that refuse to die.

About forces humans were never meant to understand.

And this…

is only the beginning.
