Chapter 5: The Dark Shadow
The next day, something terrible happened.
A dark shadow entered the village. Crops died, water turned black, and people became afraid.
The same voice spoke again:
"This is the Shadow King. He wants the light you carry."
Arin realized… this was his fight.Arin stood in front of the Shadow King.
"You won't hurt my village," he said.
The Shadow King laughed.
"You are just a boy."
Arin raised his glowing hands.
A beam of light shot forward… but it wasn't strong enough.
He fell.
