Synopsis
“I should’ve done better,” he whispered into the empty room. But some things… come too late. And some loves… don’t survive the silence between two people. Two hearts. Two lives. Still connected… by something they never fully understood. Love. Or maybe… Something even deeper. Something that never really ends.

Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

The rain was falling softly that night, just like the day everything began. Sofia stood by the window, her fingers lightly tracing the cold glass. Outside, the city glowed with blurred lights—warm, distant, unreachable.

Just like him. She exhaled slowly, her reflection staring back at her. Tired eyes. A quiet smile that didn't quite reach her heart.

It had been years. And yet, somehow… she still remembered everything. The way he used to look at her like she was the only person in the room. The way his silence spoke louder than words. The way he loved her… quietly, deeply… and painfully.

Sofia pressed her forehead against the glass. "I thought we would last forever," she whispered. But forever… didn't mean what she thought it did.

Somewhere across the city, Kenzo stood in his own silence. The rain hit his window, just as it did hers. He hadn't changed much. Still quiet. Still distant. Still carrying things he never said out loud.

But tonight… he was thinking about her. Always her. Her laughter. Her tears. The way she said his name like it meant something sacred.

"Sofia…" he murmured under his breath. A name he never forgot. A love he never truly let go of. His hand tightened slightly at his side, as if holding onto something invisible.

"I should've done better," he whispered into the empty room. But some things… come too late. And some loves… don't survive the silence between two people.

Two hearts. Two lives. Still connected… by something they never fully understood. Love.

Or maybe… Something even deeper. Something that never really ends.
