School was out for the day, and y/n texted Suga to let him know she would be waiting for him at the front gate.
"Hey Suga, are you going to the studio today?" Namjoon asked. "Yeah, I'll join you guys later, but first, I need to meet my girlfriend at the front gate," Suga replied, glancing at his phone to respond to y/n's message.
"Oh, y/n is welcome to come to the studio. It's been a while since she last visited," Namjoon said as he headed towards the front door. "Alright, I'll see if she wants to come along," Suga said, walking past Namjoon.
Namjoon continued walking and spotted y/n; he waved at her and turned in the direction where Taehyung was.
"Hey sweetheart, did I keep you waiting?" Suga asked, kissing her cheek and taking her hand. "Not at all. Are you heading to the studio today?" y/n inquired. "Yes, I am. Actually, would you—" Suga started to say before y/n interrupted him. "Yes, I would love to go to the studio if that's what you were about to say. Sorry for cutting you off," y/n joked.
With his gummy smile that made y/n blush deeply, Suga walked with her to the studio.
[Jin & J-Hope]
Jin: Hey! I'm going to be a little late today. You all can begin the choreography without me.
J-Hope: Why are you running late? Is it because you have to drop something off?
Jin: It looks like it. It shouldn't take long, but I guarantee I'll run as if it were a marathon to the studio.
J-Hope: If one or two members are absent from the choreography, we can't start. So we'll wait for you, and thanks for letting me know.
Jin: I'll text you when I'm done dropping it off.
J-Hope: Okay!
J-Hope lets out a large sigh and thinks intently.
"Everyone is doing well with the choreography except for Jin and Namjoon. It would really help if y/n could assist me. I recall she mentioned she's training to join a dance team just for fun, and I'm glad she asked me to be her teacher, but y/n has such amazing dance skills that I can't compete with," J-Hope thought. "What are you thinking about?" Jungkook asked.
"Oh, nothing much, just figuring out how we can improve the choreography with y/n's help," J-Hope answered. "I got a message from Suga that y/n is coming to the studio today, so this is our opportunity. We all know how talented she is as a dancer," Jimin replied. "She's incredibly skilled, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but how can she be so talented and even better than you, J-Hope?" Jungkook chuckled.
J-Hope playfully hit Jungkook on the shoulder.
"Ouch, what was that for? Are you jealous that you have competition?" Jungkook laughed while rubbing his shoulder where J-Hope hit him. "She might dance better than me, but let's be honest, she doesn't sing as well, so I've got that category covered," J-Hope said.
"J-Hope is right, I may dance better than you, but my singing is terrible," y/n said, standing behind them.
"Suga and y/n, when did you arrive?" Jimin asked. "We got here not long ago; maybe about 10 minutes ago," Suga replied. "So you heard our chat?" Jungkook inquired. "Not the whole thing, just the end," y/n joked.
Namjoon and Taehyung emerged from the recording studio.
"Where's Jin?" Namjoon asked. "Jin will be a little late; he has to drop something off, but he should arrive in under 10 minutes," J-Hope answered. "Since Jin is running late as usual, we can start organizing the music components, and perhaps y/n can assist us in choosing the track's instrumental," Taehyung suggested.
Everyone looked at y/n with puppy eyes. Y/n couldn't resist their pleading looks.
"Okay, okay, I'll help you decide on the instrumental for your track. This is the last time; I don't want to see those puppy eyes again. They give me chills," y/n said, feigning annoyance.
The group let out a collective sigh of relief, knowing they had successfully convinced y/n to help them once again.
The members and y/n entered the recording studio.
Y/n put her phone on silent mode to avoid distractions.
Suga played the vocals of each member on the monitor and showed her, along with Jungkook and J-Hope, the five different instrumental samples they could choose from.
Y/n listened closely to each track, discussing the pros and cons with her boyfriend, Jungkook, and J-Hope.
While this is going on, Namjoon noticed y/n's phone buzzing in silent with messages from Jin and her friends.
"Her phone is going nuts right now. I want to check what her friends are saying and why Jin messaged y/n instead of J-Hope," Namjoon thought as he glanced at it.
"Hey y/n, your phone is buzzing; you have unread messages from your friends and Jin," Namjoon called out.
Y/n turned, picked up her phone, and unlocked it using Face ID. She looked at the messages from her friends.
After reading them, she checked Jin's message and informed the group that Jin had left the school building 10 minutes ago, meaning he should be on his way.
"Hey guys, sorry for being late again. Something urgent came up, but I'm here now. What have you all been up to?" Jin said, catching his breath. "Thanks to y/n's help, we decided on the instrumental track for our song," J-Hope said with a bright smile.
"I can't take all the credit, though; it was a tough choice. Personally, I prefer track 3, but my boyfriend, along with Jungkook and J-Hope, prefers track 5," y/n said, contemplating.
"Or we could combine the two tracks and see if they sound better together," Taehyung suggested. "That's a fantastic idea, Suga, go ahead and do your thing," Jimin agreed with Taehyung's suggestion.
Suga nodded and immediately started working, blending the two tracks to check if they would fit well together.
After a few minutes of adjusting, a smile appeared on his face as he heard the new sound.
"I think we might have a winner here," Suga said, looking at the group with enthusiasm. Everyone gathered to listen, and as the music played, they couldn't help but be proud of what they had accomplished as a group.
"This is it. We've discovered our perfect sound," Jin shouted, satisfaction clear in his voice.
The group exchanged high fives and hugs, realizing their hard work had paid off.
"It looks like Taehyung's idea is a success, so I'll give him credit for it," said Suga. "I've done my part, so what's next?" y/n said, gazing at the monitor. "Since we've finished this part, we can proceed to the choreography," J-Hope suggested, "Jungkook was wondering if you would like to help with that too," as he glanced at Jungkook, who nodded enthusiastically.
Y/n smiled, filled with pride and excitement for what lay ahead.
