Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: Hehehe, I'll Just Play Dumb

Jona Velli didn't stop, but opened her dragon mouth and let out a roar.

"Ang!!"

Though the dragon roar sounded cute and immature, it caused panic among the Feral Water Buffaloes. This was innate racial suppression, the instinctive fear of seeing a top-tier race like a giant dragon.

The Feral Water Buffaloes began to flee in chaos, completely ignoring the lame buffalo.

Soon, the large herd had run away, leaving only the lame buffalo trying its best to chase after them.

As if sensing its impending doom, the lame Feral Water Buffalo kept calling out, hoping for help.

"Moo! Moo! Moo!"

However, limping along, it could only end up as Jona Velli's food.

The white Hatchling Dragon pounced on the Feral Water Buffalo, which was twice her size.

Hunting instinct left her with no hesitation; she bit the neck of the Feral Water Buffalo. The fear of death caused the buffalo to struggle desperately, nearly throwing the Hatchling Dragon off its back several times.

But Jona Velli's dragon claws were like hooks, pinning her firmly to the buffalo's body. With her dragon wings and tail maintaining balance at all times, the buffalo couldn't get its way.

The buffalo's movements undoubtedly deepened the wounds caused by the dragon claws.

Jona Velli bit down hard on the buffalo's neck. Warm blood flowed into her mouth, further fueling her bestial nature.

She immediately exerted force, tearing open the buffalo's neck and pulling out the trachea inside.

Splashing blood splattered onto Jona Velli's dragon head and body. Her crystal-blue dragon eyes instantly narrowed into slits, showing an expression of extreme excitement.

On the other hand, the Feral Water Buffalo's struggling strength grew weaker and weaker. It had already fallen to the ground, gasping for breath.

Jona Velli didn't stop. Her dragon claws slammed down forcefully, crushing the buffalo's head on the spot, with watermelon juice splashing everywhere.

She jumped off the buffalo's body, and her steel-knife-like dragon claws easily sliced through its tough belly.

Looking at the intestines falling out, Jona Velli showed disgust. After some processing, the internal organs she disliked were all stripped away.

During this time, Jona Velli also took out the magic core inside the Feral Water Buffalo.

The round magic core, about the size of a duck egg, was popped into her mouth like a small snack.

Once the processing was finished, Jona Velli began to enjoy her breakfast.

In the mountains not far away, a fiery-red vertical pupil suddenly opened in a pitch-black cave.

A True Dragon's senses were all very sharp, not to mention that the loud dragon roar from before was completely undisguised.

The owner of these dragon eyes slowly stood up and looked out of the cave.

"An unfamiliar Hatchling Dragon dares to trespass into the great Friel's territory. Prepare to face Friel's wrath!"

Fiery sparks seemed to spray from the crimson vertical pupils. She moved her dragon claws, and the sound of rustling as she stepped on the ground could be heard.

The True Dragon who called herself Friel walked toward the cave entrance like a gladiator preparing to face an enemy.

After stepping out of the cave, Friel finally revealed her form.

Her entire body was covered in fire-Red Dragon scales, with a pair of ferocious dragon horns on her head. Her explosive muscles formed a sharp contrast with Jona Velli's meatball-like physique.

This was a Red Dragon, a pure-blooded Red Dragon whelp.

Broad Red Dragon wings spread under the sunlight. With a flap of her wings, Friel took to the sky and flew toward the source of the dragon roar.

Before long, Friel, flying high in the sky, saw the pure white figure eating by the river.

Her fiery-red vertical pupils narrowed, and she instantly lost her desire to fight.

"Why is it a White Dragon?"

It was well known that although White Dragons were also one of the pure-blooded Five-Color Dragons, they were complete fools before reaching adulthood.

Because of this, Friel lost interest, but soon, she couldn't help but curl her dragon mouth. Bullying a weak fellow dragon wasn't a bad idea either.

Jona Velli, who was eating, was startled. She sensed a fellow dragon entering her perception range, and based on the scorching aura, she quickly analyzed that it was a Red Wyrmling.

A flash of panic crossed Jona Velli's face. As the leaders of the Five-Color Dragons, Red Dragons' strength was unquestionable, and their tempers were also quite explosive.

Suddenly, a flash of inspiration hit Jona Velli, and she remembered her identity—a Silver-White Dragon hybrid. However, her White Dragon traits had overshadowed her Silver Dragon ones, so from the outside, she looked like a pure-blooded White Dragon.

Since White Dragons were no different from fools in the eyes of other dragons, she just needed to play dumb now.

Thinking of this, Jona Velli couldn't help but give herself a thumbs up for her cleverness. An expression of great wisdom appearing as stupidity appeared on her dragon face.

With a thud, the dull sound of a massive object hitting the ground came, and a shadow loomed over Jona Velli. The silly-grinning Jona Velli's expression froze.

Friel looked at Jona Velli with a complex expression. While in the sky, she had noticed this White Dragon grinning foolishly, which made her even more certain of the records regarding White Dragons in her Inheritance Memory.

But soon, Friel's expression turned playful. Her dragon head held high, she sat on the ground.

"Audacious White Dragon, how dare you trespass into the great Friel's territory? You have already courted death."

Jona Velli's brain started working rapidly, trying to imagine what a White Dragon would do in this situation.

However, her body always acted a step faster than her brain.

Before Jona Velli could react, she had already turned around and assumed a combat stance toward the Red Dragon in front of her, baring her teeth and letting out a low growl from her throat.

For Five-Color Dragons, a weakling provoking a strong one was inherently intolerable. If it were any other Five-Color Dragon, they would definitely sit obediently and wait for Friel's judgment.

However, this kind of newborn calf not fearing the tiger behavior, acting without thinking, wasn't strange at all for a White Dragon.

Seeing the White Dragon in front of her dare to bare its teeth at her, Friel didn't get angry but instead showed a hint of playfulness.

"Very well, ignorant White Dragon. I admire your courage. In response, the great Friel accepts your challenge."

'Yamero!'

Jona Velli roared in her heart, but the Red Dragon in front of her had already pounced toward her.

Left with no choice, Jona Velli was forced to fight back.

She charged recklessly at the Red Wyrmling, which was a meter taller and three meters longer than her.

The two Hatchling Dragons, one red and one white, collided and wrestled. Waves surged in Friel's heart, and surprise flashed in her eyes.

One must know that White Dragons were the weakest among the Five-Color Dragons. She didn't expect the one in front of her to have such powerful strength, which Friel couldn't help but be shocked by.

But following that was a surging fighting spirit. She needed exactly this kind of opponent, someone who could wrestle with her.
