Jay's pov
I woke up to the sound of the birds singing, the warmth of the sun's rays. The time was five thirty. School starts at seven.
I wuickly got up and went to the bathroom to freshen up. I brushed my teeth and washed my face with water and face wash.
I walked downstairs into the dining area. The table was full with food, Kuya Angelo at the head, reading something on his ipad. Aries on his spot, typing away on his phone. Tita Gemma and mumma going in and out of the kitchen bringing more food. Tito Julez sitting in his armchair reading a newspaper.
The morning was calm. Breakfast was happy. I was nervous but kuya gave me a knowing nod.
"Mumma, tita and tito" i said "I have to tell you something" i added
"Is something wrong? Is everything ok Jay?" Tita asked looking worried.
I nodded "Yes tita, i just wanted you guys to know that…me and Kiefer are official" i said
"Oh our baby is all grown up" mumma and tita said together. I mean they're sisters for a reason.
After breakfast was done, i went back up to my room. I had a quick but proper shower, and wore my uniform. I put my hair in the usual two ponytails.
I grabbed my books and pit them in my bag. I swung the bag on my shoulders and grabbed my phone and waled downstairs.
Kiefer had already messaged me saying he was about to arrive. I told kuya that i would be going to school with him.
As soon as i walked out the door, a gush of wind hit me. I could already see the shining black jeep outside the gate.
I walked closer and Kiefer walked closer to me.
"Good morning "he greeted "How are you?" He asked.
"Good. You?" I replied.
"Good, but better now that you're here" he said.
I rolled my eyes at him and heard him chuckle. He took my bag from me and put it in the backseat. He did his usual ritual of helping me in and clicking my seatbelt.
He then walked around to his side and got in. He held my hand pressing a soft kiss to my knuckles before starting the engine and driving off.
The ride was filled with laughter, love and chaos. Although i was happy, i couldn't help but think. Today it woild be hard to act like nothing was going on with me and Kiefer.
I needed to act like i hate him. That would be hard.
"Kiefer"i said
"Hmm" he replied
"I don't think i can act like hating you in front of section e" i said
"Then don't" he added
"What about the plan"i asked
"We forfit it" he said calmly
"So we tell them today"i asked
"No, we show them" he said, pulling into the schools parking.
Be parked the car and did his usual ritual. He held my hand as we walked into school towards the section e classroom.
I was happy that we got our old classroom back. Our old building with the music room. It had alot of memories.
Of section e. Of us being chaotic. Of the first time i entered. Of me. Of Kiefer. Of us.
When we walked in the whole classroom turned their heads. The peace lasted for five seconds exactly.
Ci gasped dramatically.
Mayo's jaw dropped along with Clix, David, Josh,Rory and Eren.
Kit's eyes widened along with Felix, Edrix, Blaster, Denzel and Drew.
Yuri sat there, his eyes on us. Glaring at Kiefer.
But Kiefer didn't care, he noticed and he noticed i noticed. He gave my had a slight squeeze. I looked up at him.
He looked at me, and smiled. I smiled back. In front of us, the whole section e burst out in questions.
"When?" Ci asked
"How?" Josh asked
"What did he do?" Kit chimed in
"Jay you abandoned us" Felix added
"Ok, ok calm down. You will get details…but later. After the exam" Kiefer said.
I gave him a light smack on the arm while saying "Kiefer!!"
He just looked at me and smile. We took our usual spot. In the back. Me in between Kiefer and Yuri.
I could feel Yuri's heated gaze on me.
After some time sir Alvin walked in. He gave us the details of the exam and said that he had new but we would get it after the exam was done.
Sir handed out the papers and went back to the teacher desk. He started the timer and we started our exam.
I was happy because i knew most of it.
I worked through the paper quickly but i made sure to go over my answers once more at the end to see if i missed any.
I was the fourth person to finish. First was Kiefer, obviously. Then Ci, then David. I walked out of the classroom to see the three of them sitting together at the lunch table.
I walked up and sat next to Ci. Kiefer looked at me then at Ci then back at me. Finally he spoke saying "My own girlfriend just rejected me for her best friend" looking stunned.
David let out a small chuckle then asked. "So Jay. Are you not going to call Kiefer your boyfriend?"
Kiefer laughed lightly.
"Is this amusing to you" i fired at him
"Nope. Not at all" he said looking startled.
"Jay already has the wife effect on him" Ci chimed in.
After some time even Felix came out of the classroom. He saw me sitting next to Ci and said "So i see Kiefer got rejected"
"Do say that unless you want to die by jay's hands. Kiefer saw the gates of hell and came back" David said
I raised my fist but put it down.
The all laughed together lightly. Even i joined in after a while.
There was five minutes till the exam time was over. Most if the class were out now. Only two people remained. Josh, and Yuri.
I was confused as to why Yuri was taking so long. He usually finishes right after Kiefer. But i didn't care. I didn't care about him anymore. He wasn't my friend. He had betrayed me.
