Jay's pov
I woke up to the heat clinging to me. Kiefer's arms were wrapped around me, protectively.
I thrned in his arms. His face was red. Drops of sweat began falling onto the pillow.
I got up fast. Kiefer didn't stir. I placed my hand on his forehead. It was burning like the inside of a fire.
I got up and went to his desk, in the draw was a digital thermometer. I quickly grabbed it. I turned it on and placed the sensor on his forehead.

The number flashed.
I turned off the thermometer and went downstairs. I grabbed a small hand towel and a bowl of ice water.
As i reachdd the top of the stairs, i ran into Kieren.
"Ate Jay"he asked looking as confused as ever. "Why do you have a bowl with water and a towel"
"Because your kuya has a fever" i replied.
"Ok can i see him" he asked
"You can but he is sleeping. You also have to stay a safe distance from him. I don't want you getting sick" i said
He nodded understandably and followed me to Kiefer's room.
I sat beside him on the bed and dipped the towel in th bowl. I then squeezed the extra water and placed the cold towel on Kiefer's head.
He fliched a little at the cold.
"J-Jay" he said. My heart instantly sank. I had bever heard him stutter.
"Shh, Kiefer. I am here" i replied.
Kieren watched his kuya. Weak and in bed. His girlfriend taking care of him.
"Kieren. Can you please pass me the thermometer" i asked.
He nodded and quickly handed it to me. I turned it on and checked Kiefers temperature.
I didn't fall. In fact it rose.

I re dipped the towel in the cold water and put it on his forehead.
Fear was starting to creep into my soul.
After another twenty minutes of re dipping and pressing the towel on his head, i checked his temperature again.
It had increased even more.

That's it. I grabbed my phone and called Aries.

Jay~ Aries. Please come to Kiefers house. Now please.
Aries~ What happened Jay? Did he hurt you again?
Jay~ No he just has a really hight fever. I tried everything but it won't go down.
Aries~ How high are we talking about.
Jay~ The last i checked it was 42.7 c
Aries~ Ok on my way. Jay don't worry. He will be fine.
Jay~ I know, I know just hurry.
~( call ended)~
I didn't know what else to do. I tried everything. I tried to wake him up but he wouldn't.
I tried once again, because to get him to the hospital we needed him awake.
"Kiefer…Kiefer please wake up. Come on Kiefer please" I pleaded.
Nothing.
Kieren was still there. Watching his brother not respond to anyone.
Minutes passed before i heard the front door opend and then slam shut.
I heavy thuds of my brothers footsteps on the staircase.
The room door opened and the face of my horescope brother came into sight.
He took i e glance around the room and came and aay beside me.
He patted Kiefers cheeks. "Kiefer, bro wake up"
I couldn't hold it in anymore. My face in my knees, my hand wrapped around them.
I started to cry. Not the silent cry meant to be hidded. A full blown sob.
I felt my brothers arms wrapped around me.
"Aries..why wont he wake up. Please tell him to wake up. I can't loose him"i said
"You're not going to loose anyone" he replied. Rubbing my back with his hand.
Before i knew it we were in the car driving to the hospital. Aries was in the driver seat and Kiegan was in the front.
Kieren was in the back and Kiefer was with me in the middle row.
His head was on my lap.
After a few minutes the red emergency sign of the hospital came into view.
Arie parked the car and got out. Asking the nurses for help.
They took Kiefer from the car and put him on a stretcher. He was wheeled into a room and i couldn't do anything.
I was in the waiting room slumped on the floor.
Aries was pacing back and forth. Kiegan and Kieren sat beside each other.
"Hipag. Will kuya Kiefer be alright" Kieren asked.
"I hope so" i replied.
"No Jay. The answer isn't i hope so. The answer is yes." Aries added.
Moments later the doors of the waiting room burst open. Section e walked in, some with their respective girlfriends.
Mica and Grace saw me on the floor and immediately rushed to me.
The second i felt their embrace on me, i began to sob.
"He won't wake up" i said through my tears.
"He will, don't worry Jay" Grace said.
"I can't loose him" i added
"You won't" Mica said
Thirty minutes later. The doctor emerged.
"Is there a Jasper Jean Watson here?" He asked.
I immediately stood up. "Me"
"Mr Watson. He's awake, and asking for you" the doctor replied.
"If you are all family of Mr Watson. Just a notice that only one visitor is aloud in the room along with one person of choice of the patient. In this case Mrs Watson" the doctor added.
I didn't wait for him to say anything else. I walked through the double doors and into Kiefers room.
I saw him propped up on the bed. Starting at the door i just walked through.
I immediately ran towards him, putting my arms around him. His arms instinctively wrapped around me.
I sobbed into his shoulder. "Don't ever scare me like that again"
"Not in a billion years" he said
I heard a soft knock on the door. I walked over a opened it to see Kierens face.
"Is kuya ok?" He asked with a worried look on his face.
"Yeah"i said "Do you want to see him?"
"Yes please" he responded
I let him in and watched him walk to his brother. He was still young but careful, he knew, he was there.
He sat on the bed beside Kiefer. I sat in the chair and watched the brothers bond.
