Jay's pov:
After coming out of the bathroom, Ci-N's serious face appeared before me while he was in front of his phone.
He took a shower before me. So now he was all dressed up. And I was the one who was busy getting ready.
I also took out my phone. I was wondering if I had a message. But I didn't receive a single one.
Not even from my so called boyfriend...

there was a knock on the door and one of maids came in.
"Miss Jay... You're coming down. Someone wants to talk to you."
Ci-N and I looked at each other. He was still holding his cellphone.
"Are you Ms. Jasper Jean, Ci-N Peralta,?" asked one of the men in black, holding a piece of paper.
We looked at each other and nodded. That's when I spotted aries and his so called girlfriend ella.
Eww. That name feels like poison.
"The Watson Family has summoned you." the man stated.
Ok what the fuck!?
They tried to get out of the car but the man stopped them.
I sighed and we got in.
The Watson mansion....it was huge. But smaller than my Mariano mansion.
Tss. Watson's wealth are way lesser than Mariano's...The old hags won't except him.
We got out and entered the mansion. Only to be pulled by keifer. When we went inside I spotted his brothers. And...Yuri...My so called ex-fiance.
Ouch! that word stings.
I still haven't apologised for the engagement thing.
"What's going on?" I whispered.
"We need your cooperation here," Keifer said.
I raised an eyebrow.
"Dad is up to something. He wouldn't have called me here without a reason," Keigan said.
I was observing.
"We don't know what it is, but one thing's for sure," Yuri said, glancing at Keiren. "Keiren is his target, and he might use all of us."
"I'm begging you, Jay... If everything goes wrong, please run away with Keiren. Keigan will help you escape," Keifer pleaded.
I looked at keiren and his shimmering teary eyes and looked back at keifer.
"Fine....."
I stepped forward and gave keiren a bracelet which was on my wrist.
The other were confused.
"When you run away...press the gem on this bracelet. The signal will be connected to someone."
Keiren nodded at me.
They all left. I turned to leave when someone hugged me from behind.
Ofc it was keifer.
"...I f*cking miss you."
I felt my cheek heating up. But smiled anyways.
"So did I!"
Suddenly, he buried his face into my shoulder. He didn't say anything, but there were moments when his embrace tightened around me.
He wasn't just hugging me because he missed me. Right now, he needed someone to lean on. Even if he didn't say it, I could feel his struggle.
Because that old had at the Mariano mansion were the same.
I went out with him. Sneaking back in.
There was so much food. So grand! It was like you were attending a birthday.
Of course, because we are naturally hungry. Here we are and we are in line. Yes! With me, I am also hungry. Who wouldn't be hungry here? Lechon, Best!
We were eating slowly. Section E did not speak much. They could feel the tension between his father and keifer.
"...how's your school? Are you studying well?" His father asked.
"My study is none of your business." keifer replied fast.
"Come on Keifer, I'm still your Dad. I still have responsibility with you and your brother."
"Bullshit!" he yelled.
"Language. Your still in my house."
I rolled my eyes at the scene.
No offense but...
This drama was good to watch...
His father's gaze went to Aries then to ella.
"Your Ella, right?" He turned to Ella. "...The last time that I saw you, you were with Keifer. But now, it's look like your with someone else." Ella felt lonely. Aries immediately took her hand. I can't blame him. Her past is all around her.
But I still hated her for what she did to ci.
Then his gaze landed on me.
"Ahh so your his new girlfriend! I have seen you somewhere. Do you have a twin?" His father smirked.
"I'm his girlfriend....I haven't seen you before though or maybe I did. As for whether I have siblings or not their none of your business." I replied smooth.
The tension around the room felt thick.
Keifer's father smiled wider.
"Your....brave. People like you are....useless. Only there for my son's money. So your a gold digger huh?"
Dude! I'm richer than your son!
I smiled. A venom dripping smile.
"I'm sorry I didn't know money can buy love or happiness like it does for you. Because for others it certainly doesn't"
His smile faltered just a little.
"...What is your name? You're new to me."
"Jasper Jean!" I wasn't going to say Mariano. No way.
I glanced at Keifer, who was also looking at me. It was as if his eyes were warning me to be careful with my answer.
" What are your parents' names?" he asked again.
"Their none of your business!" Keifer yelled.
But his father's gaze was fixed on me.
"My biological mother....she is alive..but dead to me Jean fernandez. Father...let's not talk about him." I answered calm.
I have seen people with Kuya Jare pointing knife and threatening this wasn't anything. I refuse to budge to these kind of people. I'm an assassin. I'm not allowed to be scared!
He looked at Aries.
"So you guys are cousins" He smirked.
Can stab his mouth?
"Step-siblings" I corrected voice confident.
"What?" He asked.
"He was adopted by our tita. And we both hate our mom. We hate each other. Mutual understandings. Have a problem?" I asked while sipping a Juices.
He was staring at me.
No! Everyone was. Like I just said something wrong.
"Also I don't need your son's money. I have plenty to buy 10 mansions like these with snap of my finger. I'm not useless because unlike you I would be busy doing others works like studying." I added calm.
Kaizer's jaw clenched.
Then a loud crash echoed.
Keifer's glass had shattered—not because he threw it or slammed it down, but because it had broken right in his palm.
Blood slowly dripped onto the table as he clenched his fist.
I looked at my plate. Breathe uneven and inhaled and exhaled slowly.
"Did you invite them only to insult?" He asked in a low voice.
I glanced back and forth between Keifer and his father. If there were actual electricity flowing through their glares, I could have charged my phone by now.
"Why don't you just tell us what you really want from us? We still have school to attend," Keifer said in irritation as he wiped his bleeding hand with a napkin.
His father signaled to one of his men. "I'm glad you brought that up."
One of the men in black suits handed over a piece of paper. His father took it and passed it to Keifer.
"Sign this!" His father smiled.
Keifer scanned the document. Whatever was written there immediately enraged him. He stood up and threw it at the centre of the table glaring at his father.
I looked at it.
Oh. Adoption paper for keiren and something about shares.
They were arguing about his mother.
Wow! why did the topic go for his mother?
Why am I stuck in a drama. Is this a c-drama? Will I get paid for my acting?
His father looked at him seriously. "You leave me no choice."
Suddenly, the men in black suits started closing in on Keifer.
Section E stood up all supporting keifer.
I whispered to keiren.
"Run now! Press the gem on the bracelet."
And seriously who the hell fights by throwing food. Can't they at least use cutlery knife that is laying jobless there on the table.
Damn they have no brains.
Oh no they do. A brain of monkeys or pigs.
Here I was looking at the chaos not knowing what to do.
