Author's pov:
Mia's kiss on jare's masked cheeck wasn't intentional it an accident but still both blushed hard. Mia's cheeck flustered while jare's ears were red.
"I-I'm sorry it was an accident" mia was too embarrassed. Cheeks now bright red.
"I-It's o-ok" Jare was equally blushing. Stammering hard.
But mia and Jare both knew that jay was hiding watching everything far away enjoying. Because no person will take this long to use a restroom. Maybe girls who are obsessed with perfect makeup lile freya will take long time.
But not jay she oly likes very light makeup.
Jay was giggled at both of them. She thought she was hiding. She thought they couldn't see her.
But no—
They spotted her.
Jay didn't notice someone walk into the cafe.
Because she was too busy watching Jare and mia but Jare notice the guy.
He was tall, back hair, handsome—
It was someone from their past—or to be more exact—someone from Jay's past.
Jare eyes narrowed at the figure who just walked in. His eyes never left the figure.

Jare pov:
They moment he walked I stilled.
Mia followed my gaze and saw him.
While jay didn't even bother. She didn't know he came— she didn't see him.
I had to take her away.
He was someone jay yearned for and desperately needed. But I had made him leave her.
Jay knows i have 2 secrets and she believes I won't hide things.
She trusts me.....
"Who is he?" Mia asked me curiously.
"Jay's ex....someone she yearns for....I made him leave without any goodbyes or texts...they loved each other. He still does."
I saw him moving to the counter.
"Mia face me Jay might get suspicious she still hasn't spotted him. We need to leave!"
She nodded
We acted like we were talking normal.
But crept me inside I didn't want them to see each other. I didn't want to see her cry bcoz of him.
"Jay let's go somewhere maybe amusement park" mia was excited.
Jay hugged her tight in excitement
"Yes! Yes! Let's go now!"

Author's pov:
But the figure saw her...he ran to reach her but too late jare's race car was faster. He shouted her name!she didn't hear.
"Jaaayyy"
" I will make you mine...hopefully"
Tears threatened to fall.
He still loved her. He still yearned for her!
" what's the use of being powerful if you are not beside me?" He questioned himself silently.

Jay's pov:
I felt someone calling me. The voice...sounded like him.
"Jason.." I whispered his name.
The car stopped suddenly. It was too sudden that we could have been sent flying.
"What the fuck Jare!?" I yelled.
" sorry. It's just you haven't told his name since he disappeared"
His 2 secrets....could this be one of them.
He always told me his secrets except these 2....pero why?
"Did you tell Jason to leave me" his eyes widened as soon as that left my mouth.
Mia did not say anything.
"Umm...I'll give you siblings to talk I'll step out for few mins..."
She felt the awkwardness and stepped out.
I looked a Jare for answered. He did not look at my eyes
He only...looked away and that...silence answered my question.
"So this was one of your 2 secrets."
He nodded slowly.
"Drive me back to the fernandez" tears fell slowly. I leaned on the car window.
Asking myself why my life is complicated.
He started driving. They did not say anything.
Until....
"Grandpa and grandma wanted someone who was a prodigy just like us and someone with equal status" he said quietly eyes still on road.
"He is a prodigy Jare!" I yelled
" he studied with us at new york at the same school as us. He studied in a school,of prodigy!" I continued
"But he does contain equal status!" He shot back. Yelling at me.
" I thought you didn't care about status"
" I don't but they do. They threatened his family...I thought I was doing the right thing"
I understood him. I know he did the right thing. But....he could have told me.
The car reached the Fernandez mansion.
I stepped out.
Before entering Jare called out.
I turned
"I'm sorry...I didn't know what to do...I was afraid that we might fight. I didn't want him to be a reason."
I smiled weak. Faintly.
"We won't Jare. We need each other. We both share the same heart. Right now....I just need time...to process."
I went inside upset...

So... my bestie!
How was the plot twist. Did you guys love the chapter. I know some of you need a long chapter and I'm sorry I could do a long one...
I'm comfortable typing in laptop rather than my phone. I hope you will understand. I'm sending the chapter using my phone. And I'm having a poor network issue since I'm travelling.
