Five days.
That's how long it took me to carve out a cave big enough for Godzilla himself to take a nap in.
At first, I was worried about cave-ins.
But, as expected…
Physics doesn't really apply when I'm involved.
And so…
Torch by torch.
Block by block.
A massive space started taking shape.
And honestly?
A lot of that comes down to my hyperfocus.
Apparently, that followed me into this world too.
Along with a small detail…
My stamina seems to be almost infinite.
Sleep?
Nah.
Anyone who's spent hours grinding knows how it is—
Once you start, time just… stops making sense.
Hours turn into minutes.
Minutes turn into seconds.
And before you know it…
Days have passed.
…
And in my case?
Literally.
…
I'm pretty sure my hyperfocus played a huge role in that.
The only things that managed to interrupt me were the basics.
Like hunger.
Which, to my surprise, still exists.
And thirst.
Which, thankfully, was much easier to deal with.
All I had to do was stop by a convenience store…
And "borrow" a few things.
—I swear I'll pay it back…
…
If I remember.
…
Other than that, progress was fast.
And, to my surprise…
I actually found iron ore.
Which, of course, went straight into the furnace.
But that wasn't even the most impressive part.
No.
That would be something else.
Redstone.
Yeah.
Redstone.
…
And you know what that means?
Especially if the mods are actually working?
Hahaha…
"Okay… this changes everything."
It was honestly surreal when I made my first redstone torch.
And then…
A lamp.
Yes.
An actual lamp.
Right there in an underground cave.
…
Sure, I could just buy lighting.
But not like this.
Not this efficient.
Redstone is… weird.
It's like some kind of mineral packed with absurd amounts of energy.
Almost infinite.
Basically a rock powered by nuclear fission.
—Okay, maybe a bit less than that.
But still…
Ridiculously impressive.
And it doesn't stop there.
With the mods…
The ones that add all kinds of fun stuff—
I can already see a future where I just build a spaceship…
And leave this planet behind.
If necessary.
Of course.
…
But not everything is good news.
I still haven't found a single piece of gold.
And honestly?
I'm not even sure it exists here.
And finding diamonds?
That's probably going to be nearly impossible.
"Great.
Just keeps getting better."
Oh—
Almost forgot.
With the iron ingots…
I managed to craft an iron pickaxe.
And, to be honest?
In my hands…
That thing feels like an excavator.
The difference is insane.
But…
There's a small problem.
I have no idea how I'm supposed to unlock the rest of the crafting recipes.
Some of them require things that, as far as I know…
Don't even exist in this world.
Then again…
This is Marvel.
So maybe they do.
Which, honestly…
Doesn't make me feel any better.
But assuming they don't…
Then I'll have to find another way.
…
And that got me thinking.
Portals.
The Nether.
Obsidian.
Technically…
I could make it.
But…
Should I?
I'm not sure I'm ready to walk straight into a literal hell.
