TRIAL AND ERROR

The bell rang.
And just like that—
Everything exploded.
Chairs screeched, people shouted, something hit the wall, and laughter filled the room like control never existed here in the first place.
I blinked.
...What kind of class is this?
Before I could even think—
Ci-N jumped up.
CI-N: "OKAY! INTRODUCTION TIME!"
And of course—
He grabbed my wrist.
Again.
JAY: "Stop dragging me—"
CI-N: "Nope!"
And just like that, I was pulled to the center.
CI-N: "OI! LISTEN!"
No one listened.
He puffed his cheeks.
CI-N: "I SAID LISTEN!"
That worked.
Heads turned.
He pointed at himself proudly.
CI-N: "First—ME. Ci-N. The backbone of Section E."
STUDENT: "Backbone? More like headache."
CI-N: "Same thing."
...I don't even question it anymore.
He pointed at a guy tossing coins in the air.
CI-N: "Drew. Gambles on everything."
The coin landed.
Drew checked it.
Paused.
DREW: "...I lost again."
CI-N: "He always loses."
DREW: "One day I won't."
Next—
A guy casually eating something from a container.
It smelled... good.
CI-N: "Eman. Our personal chef."
I blinked.
JAY: "Chef?"
EMAN: "Don't expect free food."
...Okay.
Another—
Silent. Sharp.
CI-N: "Eren. Don't start fights with him."
No reaction.
...That's enough warning.
A loud voice cut in—
RORY: "You don't need to introduce me!"
CI-N: "Rory. Thinks he's a detective."
RORY: "Not thinks. I AM."
CI-N: "He overanalyzes everything."
Rory looked at me.
RORY: "You got into a fight before coming here."
I froze for half a second.
...What?
RORY (smirking): "Easy."
Next—
A guy scrolling on his phone lazily.
CI-N: "Edrix. Our hacker."
EDRIX: "Don't drag me into your problems."
CI-N: "Too late."
Edrix glanced at me once.
Sharp.
Like he already knew something.
I didn't like that.
A boy already looking irritated—
CI-N: "Kit. Always annoyed."
KIT: "Because of you."
A guy messing around with random stuff—
CI-N: "Blaster. Pure chaos."
BLASTER: "Creative chaos."
CI-N: "No difference."
Another—
Calm smile.
Too calm.
CI-N: "Felix. Looks nice... don't trust that."
Felix just smiled wider.
...Yeah, that's suspicious.
Next—
Leaning casually—
CI-N: "Mayo. Chill guy."
MAYO: "Unless needed."
That didn't sound very chill.
A guy cracking his knuckles lightly—
CI-N: "Denzel. Gets serious fast."
Denzel didn't say anything.
But I got the message.
Then—
He pointed.
That same guy.
Watching me again.
CI-N: "Calix."
Calix tilted his head slightly.
Eyes locked on me.
CALIX: "Still here."
I didn't respond.
Ci-N clapped once.
Then—
His tone shifted slightly.
CI-N: "Two aren't here."
The room quieted just a little.
CI-N: "David... and Yuri."
A pause.
CI-N: "You'll meet them later."
No jokes.
Nothing playful.
Just that.
Then—
Back to his usual energy.
CI-N (grinning): "And yeah—that's Section E!"
I stared at him.
JAY: "...That was overwhelming."
CI-N: "You'll survive."
We'll see.
From the back—
KEIFER: "Done?"
Silence.
Instant.
I turned.
Keifer.
Leaning back.
Watching.
Uninterested.
CI-N: "Yeah."
KEIFER: "Then sit."
Cold.
Direct.
Ci-N dropped into his seat without arguing.
The chaos returned.
Louder.
Messier.
Then—
CALIX: "Hey." He told with a sense of irritation in his voice.
I looked up.
There he was.
Still watching.
Like earlier.
But now—
No teacher.
No control.
Just chaos.
CALIX: "You talk big for someone new."
I crossed my arms.
JAY: "You talk a lot for someone irrelevant."
A few gasps.
Then laughter.
CI-N: "OH THIS IS GOOD."
Calix leaned forward slightly.
Interested.
CALIX: "You sure you can handle this place?"

Again.
I didn't hesitate.
JAY: "You sure you can stop repeating yourself?"
That hit harder.
Louder reactions.
Even claps.
Calix smirked.
Not angry.
Just...
interested.
CALIX: "We'll see how long that lasts."
Challenge.
Clear.
Direct.
I held his gaze.
Didn't back down.
Suddenly, from the back—
KEIFER: "If you're done—shut up."
Silence.
Like a switch.
Calix leaned back.
Stopped.
I exhaled slowly.
This class...
is insane.
I glanced back.
Keifer had already looked away.
Like none of this mattered.
Like I didn't.
I looked forward again.
At the chaos.
At them.
At this place.
Yeah.
This is going to be hard.
Good.
I don't back down.
JAY (to herself):
