Chapter 1 - Chapter 0: System and Taixuan Demonic Pavilion

In the Primordial Hidden Dimension

Luo Fan sat in meditation. The laws of reality bent around him. Space and time trembled. All laws drew toward him like iron filings to a magnet.

His eyes opened. The motion sent a tremor through the Realm.

A ripple spread outward—like a stone dropped into still water. Countless planets, stars, and entire universes shattered in its wake.

Long black hair framed porcelain skin. His eyes burned a radiant red. A face carved cold and sharp enough to stop breath mid-draw.

'Where am I? Didn't I just go to sleep in my room? How am I here?'

He looked down. Void. No ground, no sky, no horizon. Just endless dark that smelled faintly of cold stone. He was floating.

He didn't panic. He remained calm.

'It's just some dream, isn't it?'

He reached up to touch his chest, then paused. No discomfort. He wasn't breathing, yet nothing ached.

He raised his palm. Space and time scattered around his fingers, unable to bear him.

'Now that looks a little interesting. One never knows what it looks like when you break the void.'

He tried to open his eyes wider. Tried to wake up. Every action, every ounce of determination—wasted.

'What is happening? If this is a dream, I should be awake by now.'

A notification chimed.

[Ding! System Activating]

[Greeting Host, I am the Supreme Invincible System]

A blue interface panel materialized. Beside it, a woman appeared—flawless, a mirror of Luo Fan in female form. A blush crept up his neck.

'She's hot. Like, even Hollywood actresses or ABGs look like orangutans compared to this.'

[Host, I am the Supreme Invincible System Incarnation. I take a resemblance of your appearance, but of the opposite sex. Only you can touch and see me. You can choose to let others see me, but it entirely depends on Host preference.]

Her lips moved in sync with the voice echoing in his mind. The interface hung before his eyes, accessible in his thoughts.

'What do you mean by my appearance?'

'And what can a system like you do?'

[Host is transmigrated into a body the System created. It has a history and background, and is the most powerful existence to ever exist.]

[Host can rest assured this body was not stolen, nor is it void of background and history.]

"I understand about the body, but why is history and background important?"

[It is a matter of convenience rather than necessity, Host.]

[The body's background is the Young Master and Sole Successor of the Luo Clan of the Supreme Boundless Origin Realm, a clan that stands at the pinnacle of everything.]

[The body was born with terrifying talent, cultivated to high power in youth]

Memories flooded his mind. The transfer was gentle—no pain, no pressure—though the volume would have shattered a mortal consciousness outright.

Awe and excitement hit him. A sliver of fear took root beneath.

'Wait, isn't this a dream?'

[Yes Host, this isn't a dream and its a reality]

'Young Master of Luo Clan. Well, if this isn't a dream, I wish it really isn't, so I can just play around for eternity with the background of a ruler of all.'

'Wait, but...'

'No one will be able to tell I'm not the original? What if an Ancestor of the Luo Clan knows and kills me?'

The System's figure wrapped her arms around his neck from behind. Softness pressed against his back.

[Host can be assured. There is no one, and nothing, above the System's capability. as well as Luo Clan is a product of careful construct of the System]

[Which Mean, Luo Clan is fully under the System Control]

Luo Fan exhaled and turned back to the interface.

"What can you do as a System? What features do you have? You still didn't answer me."

[System can grant Host any wish]

She leaned closer. Her breath ghosted along his ear.

[and any Desires]

A flush hit his cheeks. He pushed past it immediately.

"From my memories, this body's cultivation is high but not at the pinnacle. Even an Elder of the Family could crush this body to death."

"Then can you give me power that transcends all? Like, truly invincible?"

[Ding! Grant Host Invincible Gift Pack]

[Ding! Host Receives Invincible Cultivation Level]

[Ding! Host Receives Invincible Talent]

[Ding! Host Receives All Invincible Constitutions]

...

Notifications cascaded before his eyes. Dozens. Hundreds.

Then the Gift Pack took effect.

His power skyrocketed—boundless, truly invincible. Not just cultivation. Something beyond it. Something without a name. The void around him cracked and reformed, unable to hold what he had become.

[Host, do you wish to receive notifications for interesting situations?]

Luo Fan studied the interface.

"What do you mean by interesting situations?"

[Its when Host meets a powerful prodigy that Host can recruit as a disciple]

[Or treasure detection, Son of Fate, interesting story to interfere, etc.]

His gaze stopped at Son of Fate.

'This Son of Fate type is definitely a novel protagonist whose luck paves their way to supremacy. But in reality, it's just a person born with luck and favored by heaven.'

"I see. That could be fun."

He glanced around the empty void. Then the entire dimension folded.

He vanished from the Primordial Hidden Dimension into the Sea of Universe.

Luo Fan's eyes widened. The scene captivated him—endless orbs of light suspended in dark, each one a cosmos unto itself. After a while, he reined his senses back.

'Truly, on Earth they say you're born too late to explore the world and too early to explore the universe. So true. As a human on Earth, we're truly a frog in a well.'

He spotted a universe nearby.

'This orb is a universe. Composed of countless galaxies, countless planets and stars.'

He raised his hand. A flick. The entire universe reduced to nothing.

Luo Fan touched his chin and thought for a while.

'Let's go take a look around the Lower Realm first.'

'Since we are in the Expanse of Lower Realm Dimension, I can just randomly select one.'

He took a step. Immediately, he appeared in a nearby universe.

'Find if there is any planet inhabited by humans that I or the Luo Clan have influence or forces under.'

[Detected: Taixuan Demonic Pavilion, Number 1 Force in the Taixuan World (Lower Realm)]

"How powerful are they?"

[In the Taixuan World, they are the Pinnacle of Power, with 17 Mahayana and 102 Tribulation Transcendence]

Luo Fan considered the ceiling of Lower Realm cultivation.

"That's quite impressive, isn't it? But considering it has a connection with the Upper Realm, it's really what it should be."

[The Second Strongest Force only has 3 Tribulation Transcendence, so the Taixuan Demonic Pavilion is truly unrivaled in terms of pure strength]

He raised an eyebrow.

'Why is the difference so massive? Does the Luo Clan interfere with them that much?'

[Taixuan Demonic Pavilion is a vassal force planted by the Luo Clan of the Upper Realm, and the current Grand Ancestor is a Star Lord Realm Servant that being planted]

'Is that so? Star Lord Realm is considered the early step of Upper Realm Cultivation, but their power is enough to destroy an entire Lower Realm planet.'

Luo Fan stood. He took a single step forward.

The void tore open. Scenery slammed into existence around him—sky, earth, gravity, wind.

Before him, carved into the face of a hundred black mountains, sprawled the Taixuan Demonic Pavilion. Its gates were tall enough to swallow clouds. The stone beneath them was old, worn smooth by centuries of wind, and the air tasted of iron and incense ash.

'What a grand sight.'

He adjusted his sleeves as he flew above the clouds.

Then he released his presence.

The effect was immediate. Deep within the mountain, Grand Ancestor Liang felt it—the only Star Lord Cultivator in this world, his senses far sharper than anyone else's. His mind locked onto the source like a compass needle snapping north.

Grand Ancestor Liang flew out at full speed and stopped before Luo Fan.

"Fellow Cultivator, what are you doing here in this Lower Realm?"

"This Taixuan Demonic Pavilion is a force under the Luo Clan. I hope you would be wise if you plan anything funny."

Grand Ancestor Liang sounded confident. Unfazed. But his mind was blank. His palms sweated. His spine trembled uncontrollably.

'He's surely someone from the Upper Realm, and his cultivation must far surpass mine. At least Star Transcendence.'

'However, the feeling of this man is too weird. Looking at him is like looking at an abyss. One can see he is no ordinary mortal, but there is nothing that can be sensed of him.'

'That's the terrifying part. Even a mortal has something to sense. But this man—nothing can be sensed at all.'

Luo Fan slowly raised an eyebrow.

Grand Ancestor Liang flew back a fraction and shifted into a ready stance.

"I will say this again—this is the vassal force of the Luo Clan. Your actions will be treated as disrespecting the Luo Clan. Do you really think you will have a place in the Lower or Upper Realm again?"

Luo Fan decided he'd played enough. He opened his palm. A badge appeared.

Grand Ancestor Liang saw it. His face went pale. He could clearly see and sense it.

He knelt.

"This Servant greets the Luo Clan Young Master."

'Shit. Shit. I actually dared to use the Luo Clan to talk back to the Luo Clan Young Master.'

'I hope in my next life I won't be such an idiot.'

Luo Fan showed no expression. But in his heart, he savored it.

The feeling of controlling everything was addictive.

'It feels pleasing when other people fear us like this.'

Grand Ancestor Liang rose and led Luo Fan to the Main Hall.

After Luo Fan seated himself at the main seat—cold black stone beneath him, the hall smelling of aged sandalwood and damp rock—a notification chimed in his mind.

[Host, there is an interesting scenario involving a Son of Fate. Do you wish to view?]

Luo Fan glanced at the System and touched his chin.

'Interesting scenario? Tell me about it.'

The full scene unfolded in his mind—images, context, causality laid bare.

'So it's destruction brought on by the Son of Fate's recklessness.'

He sighed slowly. A flicker of pity for the forces entangled with the Young Protagonist.

'This low-quality protagonist. Dealing with them sounds fun.'

His fingers tapped the armrest. Slow. Deliberate. The sound echoed through the hall's stone walls.

Grand Ancestor Liang stood rigid, hands clasped, nervous.

"Tell me about Taiyin Holy Land."

The voice carried a thread of curiosity. Grand Ancestor Liang blinked, surprised by the unexpected question. The System's information covered the Son of Fate and the situation, but not the place itself.

Grand Ancestor Liang straightened.

"Taiyin Holy Land was once a Top Tier power. But since their Ancestor died in the Tribulations, they've been targeted by multiple forces. Slowly losing resources, territory, influence."

"They are now considered a Mid Level Power, and their legacy continues to erode. It wouldn't take long before Taiyin Holy Land collapses entirely."

He paused, then added, "As well, they currently suffer a conflict with the Gu Clan. However, it appears to have been instigated by an outsider."

"The details are unclear, but it seems to involve the situation of the Secret Realm a few days ago."

Luo Fan listened. The scene he'd seen in his mind replayed behind his eyes.

"I see."

"Have someone find the truth about it. Also—the Taiyin Holy Maiden and her sister the Saintess will arrive at Taixuan Demonic Pavilion within a day. When they arrive, notify me."

He leaned back. His fingers stopped tapping.

"I will personally see whether they and Taiyin Holy Land deserve my help."

Grand Ancestor Liang suppressed his surprise.

'How could the Young Master know about something like that?'

'Taiyin Holy Land is considered a neutral power in the Central Plains. They are neither righteous nor demonic, which makes their relationship with both factions distant.'

'For them to come to the pinnacle of the Demonic Side, they must truly be desperate.'

Grand Ancestor Liang bowed and received the order.

Luo Fan tapped the armrest once. The space around Grand Ancestor Liang folded, and he was gone.

---

Evening settled. The sun bled low against the horizon, and a faint moon hung above, thin as a blade.

At the base of the mountain, a flying carriage descended through thin cloud. A spiritual beast pulled it—broad-winged, serpentine in the neck, its feathers the dull bronze of old temple bells.

Inside, two figures sat rigid, peeking through the carriage window.

"Older Sister Qingxuan, are you nervous?"

"I would be lying if I said I wasn't."

The carriage door clicked, then swung open with a slow groan of hinges.

The Holy Maiden stepped out first. Su Qingxuan. A face that could claim first beauty of the era—long black hair falling past her waist, blue attire that set off white porcelain skin. Her eyes were the pale blue of winter ice, and her temperament carried the cold superiority of someone who had never once been told no.

Behind her, the Saintess. Su Qingyin. Nearly identical in feature, but where her sister wore cold blue, Qingyin wore a gray-white dress that seemed to swallow light. Dim beside the Holy Maiden's brilliance, yet carrying its own weight—mysterious, unapproachable, like a figure glimpsed through fog.

Side by side, they earned the word heavenly.

---

Inside the Elder Hall, the secondary hall after the Main Hall.

"The Young Master of the Luo Clan has graced us with his presence."

"We shall not disappoint him, and live up to the title of his servant."

Grand Ancestor Liang's voice carried authority.

"Should we notify the disciples? It would be terrible if someone disrespected him."

One of the Elders spoke up.

"It would be wise to organize a person of high status to follow the Young Master around."

Grand Ancestor Liang touched his chin.

"I will be the one following the Young Master. You all need to organize and make sure everything is flawless. The Young Master's commands are to be executed with utmost priority."

Then his senses sharpened. He detected Su Qingxuan and Su Qingyin climbing the mountain.

He recalled Luo Fan's order. He flew out and entered the Main Hall.

"Young Master Luo, the Holy Maiden and Saintess have arrived. Do you wish for me to bring them to you immediately?"

Luo Fan raised his palm.

"The reason they're coming here is obvious. However, I still haven't decided if I want to help them or not. So do as you would normally."

Grand Ancestor Liang bowed and left the Main Hall.

---

Su Qingxuan and Su Qingyin reached the summit.

A terrifying pressure slammed into them. Their knees buckled. They hit the stone.

Their faces went pale.

'This—this is much more powerful than when the Holy Lord is furious.'

'How is this possible? We just arrived and we met this level of figure?'

'Who is this terrifying man?'

'Is heaven truly wishing for Taiyin Holy Land's destruction?'

Grand Ancestor Liang appeared before them.

"Holy Maiden and Saintess of Taiyin Holy Land. What is your purpose in coming to my Taixuan Demonic Pavilion unannounced?"

Su Qingxuan forced herself to glance up against the crushing pressure.

"Lord... please be merciful..."

Her voice cracked. Thin. Exhausted.

"We came here wishing to propose a deal..."

Grand Ancestor Liang's pressure intensified. They didn't give up.

"Please. Let us propose our terms first. If you are not satisfied, you can kill me at that time."

Through space and time, Luo Fan watched. A slight smile touched his lips.

He released his power. Grand Ancestor Liang's pressure vanished instantly.

Grand Ancestor Liang turned slowly toward the Main Hall.

"You two, follow me. The Young Master wishes to see you."

Su Qingxuan and Su Qingyin, still reeling from the pressure's disappearance, froze.

'Young Master? I never heard there is a Young Master in Taixuan Demonic Pavilion.'

'Also, this person must hold significant power here.'

'If this person is just an average figure in the sect, this Taixuan Demonic Pavilion is much more terrifying than the world knows.'

'But for such a person to be obedient like this...'

'What kind of existence is this Young Master?'

---

They arrived at the Main Hall.

Luo Fan watched their figures approach.

'Hmm. Innate Dao Body, and Nine Extreme Yin Body.'

'Rare constitutions. Both great for dual cultivation, and powerful when awakened.'

Su Qingxuan and Su Qingyin walked in measured pace behind Grand Ancestor Liang. As they drew closer to the main seat, their pupils widened slightly at Luo Fan's appearance.

They regained their composure quickly.

"Young Master, we wish to ask for help."

Luo Fan raised his hand. A cup of tea materialized from nothing. He sipped it slowly.

"Speak."

Su Qingxuan continued.

"Taiyin Holy Land is currently under immense pressure from the Gu Family of the Imperial Court."

"We wish for the Taixuan Demonic Pavilion's help."

Luo Fan didn't reply. He set down the tea cup. His gaze settled on them, silent.

"We know we are not in the position to propose conditions."

"I, and my sister, are willing to come and serve the Young Master. As slaves."

"Our Taiyin Holy Land will offer our power and resources towards the Taixuan Demonic Pavilion, becoming its vassal force."

"We are willing to offer everything, if the Young Master can save the legacy of our Ancestor and give a chance of survival to Taiyin Holy Land."

Luo Fan tilted his head slightly.

"You want our help, but propose giving everything to us. So what is the point of saving it, when your power and legacy will belong to others?"

The sharp question didn't make Su Qingxuan flinch.

"If we lose to the Gu Family, the only result is death. We may die dignified, but our legacy will be used by the force that kills us."

"Meanwhile, if we pledge allegiance to the Taixuan Demonic Pavilion and receive your help, we will be alive. Taiyin Holy Land will still have its legacy and power."

"And Taiyin Holy Land will still have a future."

Luo Fan glanced at them. Then shifted his gaze.

"Liang. Tell me about the Gu Family's power."

Grand Ancestor Liang bowed.

"Young Master, the Gu Family is a Duke Family in the Central Plains. They have two Late Stage Soul Formation cultivators, and tens of Nascent Soul."

Su Qingxuan and Su Qingyin stiffened. They knew the Gu Clan was powerful. They hadn't expected it to be this much.

Luo Fan glanced back at the sisters.

"What about Taiyin Holy Land?"

Grand Ancestor Liang's gaze followed Luo Fan's, landing on the Holy Maiden and Saintess.

"Taiyin Holy Land has a Holy Lord at the level of Nascent Soul, while the other Elders are Golden Core. They also have one Ancestor at Mid Stage Soul Formation, secluded and nearing her lifespan limit."

Luo Fan thought for a moment. Then his gaze returned to Su Qingxuan.

"What is the reason for the conflict?"

Su Qingxuan shivered as his gaze landed back on her, not giving her a breath.

"It was back at the Secret Realm of a Fallen Tribulation Transcendence. We fought for inheritance, and suddenly I fell into a trap."

Her fingers curled into her sleeves, knuckles paling.

"Ye Chen, a rogue cultivator, helped me from the trap. But his intention was lust. Even though he acted righteous, he clearly wanted to sleep with me."

"I refused him outright. That was when the Gu Clan Young Master arrived after chasing Ye Chen. They thought I was his accomplice, so they tried to kill me."

Beside her, Su Qingyin's hand found her sister's wrist. A small grip, there and gone. Su Qingxuan steadied her breathing and went on.

"I escaped and disappeared from the Secret Realm. But later, the Gu Clan came demanding Taiyin Holy Land take responsibility, because Ye Chen killed their Young Master."

"And the survivors said I was his accomplice."

Grand Ancestor Liang's brow lowered. A survivor's word carried further than the truth in the Central Plains. Everyone in that hall knew it.

"My Holy Land can support me, but we truly cannot fight the Gu Clan."

Luo Fan lifted the tea cup again. He didn't drink. Just held it, steam curling slow past his fingers.

"As for Ye Chen, after that day he vanished. Even the Gu Clan cannot find a trace of him."

Her voice thinned.

"That is also the reason all the blame has been shifted onto me."

Silence settled over the Main Hall. The last curl of steam died above the cup.

Luo Fan set it down. The click of porcelain against stone was the only sound.

'If it were the original story, after this Ye Chen would come back and rescue Taiyin Holy Land even though he's the reason for the conflict.'

'Making him become the hero of Taiyin and claim the two beauties into his harem.'

Luo Fan touched his chin.

'In the Cultivation World, people often lose their brain cells when they meet a Son of Fate.'

'He's the cause, but if he rescues them, he's a hero.'

'If it were the modern world, he'd be thrown out and fed to a pig.'

Luo Fan glanced at Su Qingxuan and Su Qingyin.

"Fine. The Gu Clan is nothing before the Taixuan Demonic Pavilion anyway."

"You will become my maids from now on. Rest assured."

"Taiyin Holy Land is saved."

Su Qingxuan and Su Qingyin looked up, eyes bright with gratitude. They hadn't expected help—not after the way he'd carried himself this entire time.

'So this is how a Top Power operates.'

[Host, Su Qingxuan and Su Qingyin affection towards you have MAXED]

[System will ensure any person host wanted will always belong to host]

Luo Fan watched the System in his mind.

'What do you mean?'

'Does it apply to female and male?'

[Exactly in all scenario, for example If Host accept disciple, he will never disobey or betray you, even if you kill him, he will die a come back to serve host as his master]

[If Host accept maid or any kind of relationship is establish, unless Host didn't want to, the System will automatically ensure their loyalty and they will never disobey or betray you and serve host forever]

[System will ensure every single being Host taken a like, or have a relationship with host of any kind, remain loyal forever]

'This is a very OP feature. One heart is hard to control, but this System can ensure it.'

'This System really is spoiling my life rotten.'

Su Qingxuan and Su Qingyin studied Luo Fan's god-like appearance, then shyly turned away when they noticed they'd been staring too long.

"Send three Mahayana cultivators to deal with this. Demand the Gu Clan pay compensation to my maids, since they frightened them."

Grand Ancestor Liang bowed slowly, then sent a voice transmission to three Ancestors at Peak Mahayana Realm.

Su Qingxuan and Su Qingyin stood dumbfounded. They wondered if what they'd just heard was correct.

'Mahayana? Isn't that a legendary realm on par with Ancestor?'

'Wait—three Mahayana? How terrifying is Taixuan Demonic Pavilion actually?'

Su Qingxuan swallowed. She knew clearer than anyone: for Luo Fan to casually order the dispatch of Mahayana cultivators, there was only one explanation.

'He must be...'

Beside her, Su Qingyin simply stared, unable to form a coherent thought.

Luo Fan glanced at them slowly.

"Let's go together then. It wouldn't be proper if three Mahayana cultivators appeared with no one to explain."

He waved his hand. The space around them shifted, and in an instant they stood above Taiyin Holy Land. Wind bit cold against the mountain peaks below, carrying the faint scent of pine resin and old snow.

Su Qingxuan and Su Qingyin stared. They couldn't see how Luo Fan had done it. This wasn't something even the Holy Lord could achieve.

They couldn't reconcile it—this face so young, holding power this absolute.

Behind them, Grand Ancestor Liang's mind reeled. He was a Star Lord cultivator. For him to perceive nothing of the transit, to feel no spatial disturbance at all—

'He surpasses me. By a margin I cannot measure.'

Grand Ancestor Liang lowered his head and followed.

Slowly, they descended. Su Qingxuan and Su Qingyin trailed behind Luo Fan, their footsteps quiet against the stone path leading down toward Taiyin Holy Land's gates.
