Next to Rave, Amon was grinning from ear to ear.
He looked at Rave and asked. "Hey, what blessing did you get?"
"Uhh…" Rave thought for a moment before answering. "I got a blessing called Body Drive. Seems like it can increase my physical power based on some condition."
"Oh? That's so plain. You know what I got?" Amon grinned.
"Not interested." Rave turned his face away from Amon, invoking a chuckle from Ruby.
"You!" Amon was angrily speechless for a second before he snorted. "Humph, I got a Thunder Warrior blessing! An A-rank Blessing! Your Body Drive must be D-rank at best, given its plain name."
Rave was scratching his head in his mind. 'I spewed random bullshit, but what will happen when I share my screen? And X-rank? There's no rank like that as far as I know.'
"Thunder Warrior. That does sound powerful." Ruby calmly nodded.
"Heh, you speak as if you got a better blessing than that." Amon sneered.
"Let's just say my blessing's name is Azure Dragon's Spark."
Rave blinked. "That sounds cool."
"Azure Dragon's Spark?" Amon's eyes widened. "I…would say both of our blessings sound powerful, but yours is longer and has a dragon in it. Is it an S-rank Blessing?"
"So, you have some idea about all this, eh?"Ruby rolled her eyes. "It's a B-rank Blessing."
Amon's cheeks flushed, and he snorted before looking away. "Anyway, so I have a better blessing."
'What about my Blessing?' Rave saw both teachers approaching students separately, registering their blessings.
'Is it because I am not from this world that my blessing glitched? Or is it something else?'
Rave decided to just share the status and let the teacher register whatever they see.
After all, there was nothing he could do about this.
Soon, the female teacher arrived and asked him to share his status.
Rave did as told.
The teacher looked at the screen and nodded. "Body Drive. D-rank. Do you know how it works?"
"What?" Rave was startled.
He looked at his status.

"That's rather powerful. The potential isn't high, but its uses are there, and if you can evolve this Blessing, it can become stronger." The teacher smiled. "I think you are qualified for a trial adventure this time. Do you want to join?"
"I want to." Rave nodded.
She then moved to Ruby while Amon was also done registering by the bald teacher.
Turning to Rave, Amon said. "I asked the teacher. No one has an S-rank blessing in our class."
"We'd have found out by the noise if someone acquired an S-rank blessing here." Rave wryly smiled. 'Is my blessing better than SSS-rank or is it worse than F-rank? Because X-rank is unheard of.'
"Alright, everyone. Those who are qualified and applied for a trial adventure, step forward and stand next to us."
"The rest of you can turn around and head back. There will be a teacher waiting outside who will take you back to the academy."
Almost half of the students left with disappointed faces.
The other half remained, a total of 15 students.
Looking at the remaining 15 students, the female teacher said. "Now, before heading out of this safe zone, all of you must start your Streaming Screen in public mode in third-person view so that your face is visible on the screen."
This was mandatory.
The union federation had an AI, and it used open viewing panels of all employees to observe all streamers and record them.
Students had to be kept safe, so it was a must for them to turn on streaming.
People wouldn't know who was streaming and who was not, so unless they were prepared with their figures hidden, they wouldn't hunt other people in the Abyss.
If someone was killed while live-streaming, and it was recorded, it would help the Union Federation to find the culprit by finding clues.
Rave activated the streaming screen.

For now, Rave put his real name in the Streamer Name as it was mandatory.
"Now listen very carefully, students! We will be on a relatively safe route, so make sure you do not stray away. I won't say there will be zero danger because unexpected things can happen, like the incident where one person provoked a powerful monster and brought it towards a safe zone accidentally, resulting in the death of some students and other people. One week is never enough to explore a floor, and they change every week, so there will always be undiscovered and unexpected stuff inside."
"But today, our route is short, simple, and specific. After exiting this safe zone, we will go through a safe path specifically created by Red Tide Guild, leading towards an open hilly area, an E-rank Zone, where weak E-rank monsters sprawl. After some combat activity there, we will return and end our adventure."
The students nodded, all of them thrilled to have some action by using their blessings.
The group exited the vast hall and stepped under a sunny sky with open ground stretching a few hundred meters before forests began, littered with nature and broken ruins of some civilisation. Behind the forest, mountains stood visibly in all shapes and sizes, with much exotic scenery hidden amidst them.
All the 1000 entrances were at the very edges of the first floor, all around, so the group was at the border of this floor. The more one headed towards the center, the more dangerous and rewarding it became.
The floor was not like a planet, but it had zones that cut through the spacetime itself, as there would be a night in one zone, and crossing that, you would find two suns in the sky.
The Abyss was a treasure trove lying amidst unknown danger.
And people loved to watch those braving the abyss. Going into a mysterious cave, a ghostly house, a secret area with treasures, fighting powerful monsters, competition in various discovered trials, and so on.
The ladder was there, and Rave wanted to climb it, no matter the number of snakes trying to hinder him.

As the group followed the route, they arrived at one of the E-rank Zones in the periphery, the weakest zones.
There were many students from different academies here on different hills.
Trees were spread thinly, and bushes had colourful berries. Eating those berries was mainly the monsters inhabiting this area.

Each zone had a monster spawn rate that depended on the number of people gathered in a zone.
Treasure Chests were also hidden in all zones, but they were limited, and as the students saw, all five treasure chests in this zone were already taken.
Aside from that, there were more hidden things in all zones, secret trials, hidden paths leading somewhere, event triggers, and exotic items that could become useful when encountering mysterious non-violent beings of the abyss.

Rave faced off against an E-rank monster.
A crystal horned-rabbit, almost a meter tall.
The crimson eyes of the rabbit locked onto Rave, just like Rave's eyes onto the rabbit.
Both of them were frozen like statues.
Then suddenly, the rabbit moved as its horn suddenly glowed with crimson light.
Rave breathed out.
TAKNNN!
The horn struck Rave's throat, making his eyes widen in nervousness.
But no damage!
The sharp horn couldn't penetrate his skin. He didn't even feel anything!
The rabbit was visibly shocked as it jumped backward and landed on its feet.
And right then, Rave quickly took a breath and held it in while swinging a kick.
Like a football, the rabbit flew up as he had kicked it with upward precision.
He was, after all, the strongest in his class when it came to martial arts.
'Alright, now I've shown my Blessing to the Union Federation properly.' Rave's eyes glinted.
He looked at Amon, who was flickering with lightning around his body.
His speed was insanely fast, and so were his attacks. He was killing multiple rabbits with a single move.
Amon had less martial art prowess than him, but it was still above average, so pairing that with his A-rank Thunder Warrior blessing, he was bound to show some good power and get offers from guilds.
Moving his eyes, Rave looked at Ruby.
Azure Dragon's Spark. B-rank Blessing.
She had faint light-blue scales over her body that provided defense, her physical strength was far higher than before, and this blessing possibly empowered her senses as well.
So far, it looked like a pure physical-type Blessing like Body Drive, but given its name, she might discover some magical aspects of that blessing. If she evolved it by some fortuitous encounter in the Abyss, then it might become truly powerful, given its name.
'Let's show it a few times.' Rave moved and properly showed his Body Drive blessing two more times before he sat down.
'Now, the union federation should have a video of my face and this blessing.'
Rave's eyes glinted.
'My blessing became Body Drive because I spoke it. Will it become whatever I name it?' He had an idea.
'In that case, I should become a secret streamer and quietly start hoarding wealth and becoming strong. Better to stay out of the radar.'
Rave's eyes sparked with cunning thrill. 'If I use unregistered Blessings and stream in privacy mode...I'll have much freedom. Given my strange blessing, this is the best option.'
'Now then, how about changing the blessing to One Punch Man?'
