Keifer's POV
The air in Yuri's apartment was thick with the scent of expensive tobacco and the kind of silence that precedes a storm. We weren't just the boys of Section E anymore; we were a council of war. I sat on the edge of the mahogany desk, my eyes scanning the room.
"Aries has had it too good for too long," I began, my voice a low, lethal vibration. "He thinks he's untouchable because he's got that stoic 'protector' act down. But everyone has a pressure point. And his is his sisters.".
I leaned forward, my shadow stretching long across the floor. "The plan is simple. Yuri, you take Jane. I'll take Jay. We don't just flirt—we make them fall. We make them believe we're the only ones who understand them. We weave ourselves into their lives until they can't breathe without us. And then, at the very peak... we break them."
A cold smirk tugged at my lips. "When they fall apart, Aries falls apart. He'll have to watch them crumble, knowing he couldn't stop us. We'll tear that family's 'perfect' bond into shreds."
The room remained deathly still. I looked at the boys—Rory, Felix, and the others. They were nodding, the thrill of the hunt reflecting in their eyes.

Yuri's POV
I stared at the city lights through the floor-to-ceiling windows. My hands were shoved deep into my pockets, my jaw tight. Keifer's plan was cruel, yes, but was it any crueler than what Aries had done?
I thought of Percy—the accident, the beeping machines, the way life just stopped for him while Aries kept walking. I thought of Ella, and the bitterness that still tasted like ash in my mouth. Aries owed me. He owed us all.
"I'm in," I said, my voice cutting through the silence like a blade. "I want to see the look on his face when Jane realizes everything was a lie. I want him to feel the same helplessness I felt."
I looked around. Felix was grinning, already thinking for revenge of his brother.
Only Cin looked like he wanted to be anywhere else. He was huddled on the sofa, his knuckles white as he gripped his knees. He opened his mouth, his eyes darting to mine, but the fear of being the 'weak link' silenced him. He just nodded, a small, jerky movement that screamed of regret.
"Let's go," Keifer commanded, grabbing his jacket. "Eman is waiting at the restaurant. We finalize the timeline there."

Jay's POV
The drive back from my 'private paradise'—that hidden cliffside where the wind actually felt clean—was supposed to be calming. But as I slowed down near a quiet suburban intersection, I saw him.
A small boy, maybe nine or ten, was curled up on a concrete bench. His small frame was shaking with heavy, silent sobs. I didn't even think. I slammed the brakes and hopped out.
"Hey," I said, my voice softening as I approached. "What happened, baby?"
The boy looked up, his face a mess of tears and dirt. Without a word, he lunged forward and buried his face in my waist, his small hands gripping my shirt. "They bullied me," he choked out.
My blood boiled. I smoothed his hair back, kneeling so we were eye-to-eye. "Who did, Keiren?" (He had a small name tag on his backpack).
"My classmates," he sobbed. "They said I'm rude. They said I'm arrogant just because I don't want to play their games. I'm not, am I?"
I wiped a stray tear from his cheek with my thumb, my heart aching for the little warrior. "Nope. You are absolutely not. You are so cute, and you seem like the gentlest soul I've met all day." I leaned in and kissed his forehead, a gesture of pure, sisterly protection.
He finally calmed down, his breathing evening out. "Do you want to go home?" I asked.
He shook his head vehemently. "Not yet. Please."
"Okay," I nodded, making a snap decision.
"Would you like to come with me? We're going to get my sister, and then we're going to find some food in the city."
His eyes sparked with a tiny bit of hope. He nodded happily. I picked him up—he was surprisingly light—and tucked him into the passenger seat of my sports car.
When I pulled up to the mansion to grab Jane, she looked at the passenger seat with wide eyes. "Jay? Who is this little guy?"
I told her the whole story while we drove. Jane's expression went from surprise to pure maternal instinct.
She reached over from the back seat, hugging the boy from behind. "Don't you worry, Keiren. No one messes with a friend of the sisters," she promised.
"Are you hungry, Keiren?" I asked, glancing at him.
"Yeah," he whispered.
I saw a familiar neon sign—Eman's. It was the best place for comfort food. I swung the car into the lot, unaware that the lions were already inside.
Keifer's POV
I was leaning back in the booth, my head resting against the cold vinyl as I listened to the guys argue about the best way to bait a trap. My mind, however, was already miles ahead, calculating exactly how I'd get Jay to let her guard down. She was like a wild cat—all claws and hisses—and I knew I'd have to be patient to make her fall.
Then, the roar of a high-performance engine vibrated through the floorboards of the restaurant.
I sat up straighter, my eyes darting to the floor-to-ceiling windows. A sleek sports car, the kind that screamed power and rebellion, swung into the parking space right in front of our table.(Check comment 👉)
The driver's door pushed open, and Jay stepped out.
I felt the air leave my lungs. She wasn't in her school uniform anymore.. She was wearing a white graphic t-shirt and brown casual shorts paired with white sneakers. Her hair was pulled up in a firm ponytail , and stray strands framed a face that didn't have a single drop of makeup on it.(Check comment 👉)
God, she's hot, the thought hammered in my brain.
It wasn't the polished, manufactured beauty of the girls I usually saw. This was raw. It was the way she moved—with a casual, feline grace and a confidence that seemed to vibrate off her skin. Even without the eyeliner and the blazer, she looked like she could hold her own in a street fight and look like a goddess doing it.
I watched the way the setting sun caught the sweat on her neck, making her skin glow. My heart did that annoying, frantic thud against my ribs again.
I'd spent all morning trying to provoke her just to see that fire in her eyes, and now, seeing her like this—relaxed, natural, and devastatingly beautiful—it made the "plan" feel like a heavy weight in my stomach.
I shifted in my seat, trying to ignore the sudden heat crawling up my own throat. I wanted to reach out, to see if her skin felt as warm as it looked. I wanted to be the reason she was smiling like that.
Yuri POV
My breath hitched in a way I hated. Jane stepped out, and for a second, the gritty reality of the restaurant and our "war council" faded into the background. She was wearing a pink patterned cardigan paired with a white skirt and boots that made her look like she'd stepped off a Parisian runway (Check comment)👉
The sunset hit her hair, turning the dark strands into liquid silk. She looked... soft. It was a stark contrast to the sharp-tongued, "none-of-your-business" girl I'd bumped into in the hallway earlier.
"Damn," I muttered under my breath, my grip tightening on my glass. "She's actually... cute."
It wasn't just the clothes. It was the way she moved. She didn't have that "star" mask on right now. She looked relaxed, her eyes sparkling with something that looked suspiciously like genuine happiness.
She reached back into the car, helping a small boy out with a gentleness that made my chest tighten with a confusing, unwelcome warmth.
I watched her lean down to whisper something to the kid, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. In that pink outfit, under that golden light, she didn't look like a target. She looked like something I wanted to protect, not destroy.
Get it together, Yuri, I scolded myself, forcing my expression back into a mask of ice. She's the weapon. She's the way you get to Aries.
But as they walked toward the entrance, my eyes stayed glued to her. The "cute" pink aesthetic was doing things to my resolve that the "fierce" Jane never could.
The bell above the door chimed, a bright, cheerful sound that felt like a death knell for our plan. They walked in, Jay leading the way with the boy's hand in hers, Jane following closely behind.
The boy looked around, his eyes wide with wonder at the restaurant's decor—until they landed on our table. He froze.
Keifer exploded out of his seat, his chair screeching against the floor. "Keiren?!"
I looked at the kid, then at Keifer, then at Jane. The realization hit me like a physical blow. The 'little boy 'Keifer's little brother.
The "war" had just gotten a lot more complicated.
