The next morning, the three of them sat together at breakfast in the cozy dining area of The Healing Lantern.
Suki was happily chatting with the twins, Luke and Lisa, while eating her porridge. Lina ate slowly, one hand resting on her large belly, occasionally smiling at Feng. The atmosphere was warm and peaceful.
Feng sat quietly, listening to the light conversation around him. Then, without warning, the ancient voice returned — low, amused, and echoing only inside his head for a brief second.
"Do you need power? Do you need my help…?"
The voice vanished as quickly as it had come.
Feng's expression didn't change outwardly, but inside his mind began to race. He stared down at his bowl, lost in thought.
If the other side is real… if everything from those anime and manga actually exists as parallel worlds… then I really want to visit it. I want to see it with my own eyes. How Rimuru Tempest looks in real life… the Jura Tempest Federation he built… the other Demon Lords…
A small, rare flush of excitement crept up his neck, turning his ears and cheeks slightly red.
And… will Shion be there too? I want to see her big boobs bouncing for real…
Lina suddenly reached over and gently touched his arm.
"Feng?" she asked softly, concern in her voice. "You look like you're thinking about something far away. Are you okay?"
Feng blinked and snapped out of his thoughts. The light blush on his face faded quickly as he turned to her with his usual calm smile.
"I'm fine," he said gently, placing his hand over hers. "Just… thinking about the future."
Lina studied his face for a moment, then smiled back, accepting his answer. Suki, oblivious, continued talking excitedly about helping at the inn again today.
Feng returned to his breakfast, but inside, the seed of curiosity had been firmly planted.
The ancient Evil God's offer still lingered in the back of his mind… and so did the tempting image of exploring those once-fictional worlds with his own eyes.
