[I edited the weird part between Jasper and Freya, basically cut most of it out. It might still be kinda weird but hopefully a bit better]
Emmett watched his siblings' reactions with the same look a child would have after finding a new toy.
"Well," he started, "it looks like Alice has already gone off the deep end. How are you feeling, Jazz?"
Jasper broke eye contact with Freya after a moment and looked towards Emmett.
"You should already know how I'm feeling. It's strange, though not in a bad way. It's going to take some getting used to, though. Any tips you could share?"
Rosalie thought for a moment before speaking up. "The only thing that really helps is being close to them. It's like charging a phone. The longer you charge it for, in this case, being close to your mate, the longer you can be away for. Figure out if the bond is something you want, and then just work on making it stronger. That's all there is."
Jasper nodded at that, planning to get closer to his mate later. After a moment, he decided to address the elephant in the room.
"This is just a feeling, but I don't think that's going to work with those two," he said, while gesturing towards Alice.
The others looked towards her. She looked like she had shut everything out around her. She didn't even register that they were talking about her.
Emmett looked amused, and Jasper was still struggling with the emotions emanating from the two. In contrast, Rosalie looked like she had a headache coming on. Edward was going to try to join the conversation, but from the minds of his siblings, he decided that it would be far easier just to stay quiet.
Before any of them had a chance to say another word, Alice nodded slightly across the room, before standing up and walking towards the exit door. As she arrived, Niklaus was already waiting for her, holding the door open to let her pass before they both vanished outside.
-----------------------
Moments earlier
Niklaus could physically feel the blackmail that was forming in Freya's head. Adding that onto the intensity of what he was feeling towards his mate, and fighting the desire to rush to her side, he was really struggling on what to do in this situation.
After a moment of deliberation, he decided to simply stop fighting these feelings. Whilst still making eye contact with the brunette vampire across from him, he subtly gestured towards the door. She seemed to catch his meaning, smiled and walked towards the exit.
Niklaus stood to follow her, watching her move across the room as she made her way towards him. The way she moved was graceful. Like a dancer moving through a ballroom. She was so light on her feet that it seemed as if she hardly touched the ground.
Once they finally reached the exit, Niklaus held the door open for her as she passed through, flashing him a beath-taking smile as she passed him. They walked for a moment, before they finally got out of sight from the humans and disappeared into the trees.
-----------------------
Most of the boys in the room looked on enviously, before dropping their heads slightly in resignation.
The Cullens looked slightly shocked what had just happened, but went back to normal when they realised that was absolutely something Alice would do.
Freya, now alone at her table, would've probably burst into a fit of giggles had her self-control been any worse. Overall, she was simply happy that her father had finally found his partner. With his boldness in mind, she began how to best encounter her mate in the future.
Before she could think too deeply, she pushed the thought out of her head. Forcing anything wouldn't help at all. She'll just go with the flow and see what happens. Hopefully she has a class with him later.

In a clearing in the forest
Niklaus moved with an effortless grace, his senses heightened as he led Alice deeper into the woods. As she ran beside him, her demeanour was calm yet vibrant, a spark of energy that resonated in the air between them.
Niklaus could sense her emotions through their bond as they ran, her excitement mingling with a hint of apprehension.
Finally, they reached a clearing, a tranquil space where sunlight poured in, casting warm rays on the carpet of moss and delicate wildflowers. The light causing their skin to sparkle slightly where it landed on them. Niklaus turned to face Alice, the golden colour of her eyes reflecting the beauty surrounding them.
"This place seems... good," he said, his voice smooth and inviting. "I thought we could talk, away from everything, if that's okay with you?"
Alice smiled, that playful glimmer lighting her features. "It feels perfect." She took a moment, appreciate the atmosphere, feeling a sense of anticipation for something she had only caught glimpses of. "I've been waiting for this."
"No pressure, then," he responded with a light-hearted chuckle. But beneath his casual tone, he felt the weight of the moment. There was an intensity in the air, a silent acknowledgment of the bond they shared.
Taking a step closer, he studied her; the way her dark hair framed her delicate face, the way she seemed to glow even in the quiet of the woods (No pun intended). "I'm Niklaus," he introduced, extending a hand. The gesture simple, yet loaded with significance.
"Alice," she replied, her hand slipping into his seamlessly. The touch sent a spark coursing through him, a sensation that felt both foreign and familiar.
He released her hand, but she could feel the lingering warmth of that brief connection. "I've known about you for a while, you know. I wasn't sure how to find you, but I felt you. Though, you seemed to be a lot less shocked to see me."
She giggled slightly at that. "Well, you could say I had far more time to prepare."
Niklaus tilted his head slightly in confusion before realising what she meant.
"Some sort of gift? Precognition?"
She nodded happily, hands clasped together, "Yes! I've seen visions of both of you. I first got them about 20 years ago. You really did take you're time getting here, you know," she said with a slight pout.
"I'm terribly sorry for that, but we're here now. School isn't all that important for people like us anyway, how about we take this chance to make up for some lost time?"
Alice readily agreed, as they sat down and begun to talk.
-----------------------
Alice rested her head on Niklaus's shoulder as they spoke. Neither could remember their human lives, but they had plenty to talk about during their times as a vampire.
Alice spoke about her visions, how they had led her and Jasper to the Cullens house. She spoke about the family, about the small joys she found in fashion and artwork.
"You paint as well?" Niklaus asked, naturally reminiscing about his own past.
"You do too?!" She inquired eagerly. She had no-one to discuss most of her hobbies with in her family. While they all loved each other, and naturally had some overlaps in interests, there was no-one there who was interested in art as she was. The only one who came close was Edward with his music, but that was a whole separate category.
Surprised by her enthusiasm, Niklaus told her of his times travelling around Europe, and even the several times he travelled under the identity of a human, becoming rather famous before faking his death. He always did have a slight flair for being dramatic.
-----------------------
Niklaus told Alice all about how he found Freya, and even explained their relationship to each other. Fortunately, she didn't seem put off by this in the slightest, even showing eagerness to meet her.
Alice could already tell how much Niklaus cared for his daughter, and she was determined to be close with her. She would make the best impression possible.
-----------------------
"So, is the whole animal blood thing a choice for you guys then?" Niklaus spoke up.
"Yes, none of us wish to needlessly harm humans when it can be avoided. Although, from what Carlisle told us neither do you."
Niklaus sighed slightly, before saying, "No, I avoid it when I can. I haven't been on particularly good terms with humans in years, but that doesn't mean I wish to kill innocents without a reason."
-----------------------
After slight hesitation, Niklaus had even explained his early life to her. He told her about his family, about his father, and about why he felt the need to kill him.
Despite what he was expecting, she didn't show any judgement or disgust even before he told her the reason. She just waited patiently for him to finish his explanation.
She held onto his hand as she said, "I don't think you have anything to be ashamed of. He was selfish and a threat to everyone. You just protected yourself."
The tension from his shoulders lightened slightly.
-----------------------
"So, why do you keep your hair down? I already know that neither of you have a problem showing your eyes, so why keep yours covered?"
Niklaus seemed a little caught off guard by the question but soon composed himself. "It's a condition with my eyes. From the moment I turned they have been like this. It can unnerve some people, so I prefer to not attract the attention."
He lifted up the hair covering his face to show his eyes. Both his pupil and his iris were the exact same shade of crimson. The only thing that actually separated them is a dark red ring, showing the boundary between pupil and iris.
Alice got slightly lost looking into his eyes. They were extremely unique, she had never even heard of something like this before.
Normally, red eyes on a vampire would be something that her family would avoid, but she felt that she could stare into his forever. The way they lit up when he spoke about his interests. The way they sparkled slightly when he looked at her. They were the most beautiful pair of eyes she had ever seen.
-----------------------
Before either of them noticed, it was already dark. They had spoken for hours, hand-in-hand, learning everything they could about one another.
It had come time for them to return home. Any longer and their families might come out searching for them, and as much as they wanted to stay alone like this, they didn't want anyone to worry about them.
Rather than parting ways, Niklaus walked Alice back to her house, his hand still intertwined with hers. Neither of them wanting to let go.
-----------------------
It took them a little over 20 minutes to get to the Cullens house. They made sure to exchange phone numbers, but before Alice could reach her home she suddenly turned.
"Nik, you're home is nearby, right?"
Niklaus thought for a moment before replying, "Yes, about 10 minutes away, why?"
"Do you think you could pick me up tomorrow morning?"
He smiled slightly while saying, "Of course, I'd love to."
Another of those heavenly smiles lit up her face. Before he could react, she ran up to him, kissed him on the cheek and walked back.
"Great, I'll see you tomorrow!" At that, she jumped back and skipped towards and through the front door.
Niklaus stood there for a moment, slightly dazed, holding his hand lightly against his cheek, before a warm feeling spread through his chest.
The day felt like a dream to him, one he never wanted to wake from. At the same time though, he felt slightly empty after she left.
He looked down at his phone
Alice💕
The contact had a photo that she had taken of both of them when she typed in her number.
He slipped his phone back into his pocket with warmth in his eyes, before turning and heading back towards his home.
