When Charles Winslow fell silent, it dawned on Seraphina Quinn that she hadn't contacted Damian Fairchild in three months.
Well, to be precise, she had been the one to actively call and text him every day at the beginning. But after a solid week with no response, that, combined with her busy work schedule, led her to stop contacting him.
She didn't reach out to him, and he, in turn, never reached out to her.
Just like that, three months had slipped by in the blink of an eye.
