Just before Seraphina Quinn walked into the private room, she received a call from Damian Fairchild.
Her hand, poised to knock, paused. She decided to answer his call first.
The moment the call connected, a man's deep, frantic voice came through.
"Turn around right now. Don't ask why." A pause. "Someone will take care of Tanya Thorne's situation."
Seraphina Quinn's fingers tightened around her phone. "Besides you, who else could possibly handle this?"
"You don't need to worry about it." The man's tone was cold and impatient. "If you don't leave now, you won't be able to leave at all."
With that, he hung up.
Since Damian Fairchild had promised someone would handle it, Seraphina Quinn wasn't foolish enough to walk into danger.
So, without a moment's hesitation, she quickly left the restaurant.
