Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: The Signal of War

It had been 3 days since my transmigration.

There are three things that have changed.

My sanity, the reaction of the grey fog, and the possibility of Evernight.

But let's address the elephant; it's possible that Evernight is alive and actually transmigrated, since I am from some other world where LOTM is a story and not a reality, and if it were, then chanting CW's honorific name for fun would have actively put me and a lot of people above Sefirah Castle.

But the time frame between my chanting and transmigration is roughly 4 months.

It is highly likely that the cocoon up in the sefirha is actually Evernight, and I entered the novel using different means.

Thinking like this, I am surprised how I even came to the conclusion that this is even transmigration.

As for the grey fog, I visited it yesterday, and it's a much different form than before; it spins around me now, and the status I feel in Sefirah Castle is almost on par with Miracle Invoker.

As for sanity, it has dropped a lot. There is this innate desire to kill.

This could be for two reasons: lack of an acting method and digestion.

Since Antigonus was born a Miracle Invoker, the corruption is inherent and is rather risky for advancing to LOM.

Or It could be that My Soul has been accommodating more quickly to Antigonus's body

No matter, the quicker I find Evernight and ASG, the quicker I can get the Fools' Uniqueness, Error Uniqueness, and Door Uniqueness.

Truth be told, I really have no desire to go back to my real world, and the sole reason I even want to become God is to not die in the apocalypse.

And since Flegrea assigned me to the rear, it's highly likely that Kotar must also be there.

If I remember correctly, there are not many human settlements in this part of the continent. The best course of action is to get them to become my believer and use childbirth to remove my corruption.

But that's easier said than done; Antigonus has a bad reputation for toying with his prey.

Anyway, I think I will put the future at the back of my mind

The main question is, how do I find Amanises and ASG?

**********************

Since my sister had been assigned to the vanguard with other subsidiaries.

I had nothing to do.

Well, since I am alone at hand, I think it's best to check out Sefirah Castle.

Once again I felt a sharp pain, as if the entire spirit world were merging with my soul, though it lasted merely a second or two.

Standing in the foggy world, the fog is even more aware of me now.

I still don't get why Flegrea called it a castle.

Without wishing, it doesn't even look like a castle.

That reminds me!! I haven't had the chance to decorate this place at all; all that's here is just fog and a bunch of empty, illusory doors.

With the ability of wishing, I created the mottled table and its chairs. And since I was a Miracle Invoker, I used my own mind to create something that had a touch of modern features, but the functions were identical to the one Celestial Worthy created.

Once I sat on the chair, which was at one of the flat sides of the table, just as Klein did, I got the same result as that of Klein, i.e., the pupil-less eye and the contorted lines that signify concealment.

Now that I was sitting on the chair, I summoned a piece of paper and a pen to write on it for divination.

'The Location of Amanises', If this divination is a dud or shows very little information, that means the angel is alive, or else the cocoon is mine.

If the cocoon is mine, this raises further questions: Why only me and not others? What's the criterion? But I will have to wait for the results.

As I closed my eyes to divine the Location of Amanises

All I could see was a very dark image of a place; I couldn't really make anything out yet. Within moments it got much sharper. This was a place at the outskirts of the Flegrea's domain where they kept their humans for toying. Broken building.

But without delving into detail, the slate broke. It seems as though the angel sensed my divination and instinctively hid her presence.

Not getting used to divination, and even at that high level, my mental strength had depleted to almost half.

Not wanting to feel as if my mind were entering an abyss, I quickly returned to the real world.

I did want to divine AGS's status, but since He is a dual pathway sequence 0, it's best we meet 'Him' face-to-face.

Day four since I "transmigrated."

Today is the day for being positioned in the rear.

From the looks of it, the rear is quite secure, with Salinger and Kotar. It would have made no difference whether I was here or not

But alas, the last thing I want is to interact with Flegrea and him stealing Sefirah Castle.

Looking around, I am surprised the rear hasn't been compromised throughout this war.

These Dragons don't really know how to fight according to their pathway, do they

Okay, hold on; the last thing I want is to jinx this situation. The best-case scenario is no attack on the rear.

Just as I was thinking this, one of the wolves running towards me stopped right in front.

His giant 10-foot-tall and 16-foot-wide body, though very big, was quite agile.

As quickly as he stopped, he bowed his head, showing respect to me.

I had been in my human form this entire time, hiding even the extra hands since they made me feel almost on the brink of losing control.

I felt too small against this giant. Even then I didn't move; for some reason I felt not an ounce of fear.

The wolf seemed to belong to one of the spy networks. I was surprised to find that these wolves had the brain to make an information network.

But then again, Darkness specialized in this kind of work at high sequence, and these are just mindless corruptions of a Sequence 0 Darkness.

The wolf then spoke, "Sire, it seems the Dragon of Imagination has sent his son to attack the rear."

Fuck, just as he finished his words, not a single muscle moved on my face.

I asked, "How long before the attacks start?" "Make the others aware as well; if it's his son, we may as well be in a nightmare."

The wolf spoke, "Sire, we are not sure when they will attack." After he finished, I dismissed him.

The wolf then ran to move towards the camp of Salinger.

I took two stones from the ground and charred one of them and stuffed them in my pocket.

'I am in a dream.'

I am in a dream'

I am in a dream'

I am in a dream'

I am in a dream'

I am in a dream'

I am in a dream'

Then I entered my hand in the pocket; the black stone signifies true and the whiter one false.

Just as I entered the hand, the divination result had been done.

It was false; I felt a little relaxed. Good, I am at least not in a dream of a dream weaver.

I raised my hand, and there I was, in Sefirah Castle.

Quickly thinking of a plan here is the safest approach since I will be dealing with an author.

Suddenly a thought surfaced

'2 of the 3 sequence 1 characteristics must be here since each is released with the releasing of a transmigrator.'

Since the fog now obeyed me more effectively than when I first stepped in.

I used it to move anything with a high amount of godhood in front of me.

And there they were, the two sequence 1 beyonder characteristics for the Attendant of Mysteries.

I then took a bunch of worms of spirit and had them set up so at a specific time interval they would use the ability of the sequence 1 characteristics in the real world.

What and when can be done by me in the real world without entering the Sefirah Castle?

Quickly coming down, I instructed all the wolves under me to remain on steady guard.

Both Kotar and Salinger had also moved their forces.

I summoned 3 of my own historical void projections and hid the main body in the History of the Modern World.

"Sire, we can see the dragons now, but they seem calm with their march. I think it's best we take them out."

Without thinking anything, I merely glared at the wolf as he backed down and bowed.

Quickly moving to the front I could see the legion of hundred of dragon with His son flying in the center

************

Alzuhud landed right near the rear's front line and spoke, "It seems that the rear is just as guarded as the vanguard."

The three subsidiary gods had just reached the front of the rear. It seems both Kotar and I hid in the Historical Void Projection.

Moving the marionette, I made it speak, "Why, of course, one must protect his own land first before one can conquer the world."

This was rather edgy even to my taste, but looking at the reaction of the wolves around me, this seemed the right thing to do, and since neither Kotar nor Salinger objected to me speaking, I was going to continue.

Alzuhud interrupted by casting Mind Deprivation, but none of the angels had any effect on it.

Both Kotar and I were marionettes, and Salinger had killed all thoughts in his mind temporarily, suppressing the Mind Deprivation.

I snapped my fingers, signaling the worms above the Sefirah Castle to trigger grafting.

Guiding this grafting using my mind, I made them remove the deprivation from all the wolves.

The entire army of demonic wolves was more normal than abnormal

Alzuhud had no change in reactions

He then huffed and roared, thus signaling combat.
