Chapter 25 - Chapter 25: Hawaii 1

"I won the prize!"

On a quiet weekend morning, Hiroshi's voice exploded through the Nohara household, instantly breaking the calm atmosphere of the living room.

He waved a travel agency flyer in his hand, pacing back and forth like a child who had just hit the jackpot, unable to contain his excitement.

"Hiroshi, keep it down! Himawari is still sleeping!" Misae called out from the kitchen, poking her head out with a helpless expression.

"Hiroshi! Look at this!" Hiroshi rushed over and shoved the flyer right in front of her. "Our family won a luxury seven-day trip to Hawaii! Flights and hotel—all free!"

"Really?" Misae grabbed the flyer, her eyes widening in disbelief. "Oh my god… it's real! We're actually going to Hawaii!"

Their excitement quickly woke both Shin-chan and Himawari.

Shin-chan sat up sleepily, rubbing his eyes. "Hawaii? Is that the place where I can see big sisters in bikinis?"

"Shin-chan!" Misae immediately turned red and covered his mouth. "Don't say things like that!"

At that moment, Yoichi happened to be visiting.

Hearing the news, he couldn't help but smile. "That's amazing. Congratulations, cousin."

"Yo-kun!" Hiroshi suddenly grabbed his hand enthusiastically. "You should come with us! The more the merrier!"

Yoichi paused for a moment.

He had always wanted to visit Hawaii… and more importantly—

His gaze drifted outside the window.

Matsuzaka had the day off.

"I… should ask Matsuzaka first," he said, a little awkwardly.

Misae's eyes lit up instantly. "Yes! Invite Ume too! It'll be a perfect chance for her to relax!"

Yoichi quickly took out his phone and sent a message.

The reply came soon.

"Hawaii? Fine. But I'm not paying for the ticket."

Yoichi smiled faintly.

"Don't worry. Everything's covered. Just come."

And just like that—

What started as a four-person family trip turned into a six-person group:

The Nohara Family + Yoichi + Matsuzaka Ume.

On the day of departure, everyone gathered at the airport.

Matsuzaka arrived in a flowing beach dress with sunglasses, looking effortlessly elegant and eye-catching.

Seeing the group, she frowned slightly out of habit. "Honestly… such a nice trip, and I have to spend it with a bunch of troublemakers."

"Teacher Ume, you look really pretty!" Shin-chan ran over immediately, tilting his head up at her.

She turned her face away, cheeks faintly flushed. "L-less nonsense. Let's just board."

On the plane, Shin-chan was completely restless.

One moment he was asking Yoichi endless questions about Hawaii, the next he was trying to talk to nearby passengers.

Matsuzaka looked like she was about to lose her patience—

But when Shin-chan finally fell asleep, she quietly adjusted a blanket over him.

Hiroshi leaned back in his seat, sipping beer with a satisfied sigh. "Ah… finally, I can forget about work and relax."

Misae, meanwhile, was still organizing things carefully. "Sunscreen, swimsuits, baby supplies… I hope I didn't forget anything…"

Yoichi sat beside Matsuzaka, gazing out at the endless sea of clouds.

This was his first trip with her.

And his first time traveling like this with the Nohara family.

For some reason—

He already knew this wouldn't be an ordinary trip.

More than ten hours later, the plane landed in Hawaii.

As they stepped out of the airport, warm ocean air greeted them, carrying a faint scent of coconut.

"Woooow!" Shin-chan spread his arms wide. "This place feels amazing!"

"Yeah…" Misae smiled, taking a deep breath. "The air is so nice."

The travel bus was already waiting outside.

Once everyone boarded, the guide began enthusiastically introducing the itinerary:

"In the coming days, we'll visit Pearl Harbor, Waikiki Beach, Volcanoes National Park… and enjoy authentic Hawaiian cuisine!"

Everyone listened with excitement.

Anticipation filled the air.

Matsuzaka leaned back in her seat, quietly watching the tropical scenery pass by outside the window.

A small smile appeared on her lips—

Unconsciously.

She had said she didn't want to come.

But in truth—

She had been looking forward to this.

Especially—

Because he was here.

Yoichi noticed.

Without saying anything, he gently took her hand.

She froze slightly.

But didn't pull away.

Instead—

She held his hand tighter.

Their eyes met.

No words were needed.

Because both of them understood—

This trip to Hawaii—

Would become a memory they would never forget.
